Country Gets HUGE with 5-3-1, Erase and DAA.

I need to check the actual location in the city it's in, and check rates to see if it's worth it, and how often ill realistically make the trip, but yeah I think it would be awesome. Even once a month or when I want to test maxes... I'm sure they have a one day fee or something. Heck herder might only be a hour or so away too. I think he lives easy of the burgh? I forget how to mention.

yeah, they'll have a daily fee. i think you'll benefit from it.

I agree, and just getting to use good equipment and be around other like minded individuals and people with more experience will be great. They have a guy who competes on the national level in strongman I saw. I know a few of those but no one that close. I definitely want to check it out.

I figured because I'm about 1.5 from P and 30/35 from j town either way. If I make it out I will have to let you know how it is.
 
Just checked out that gym. Looks sweet! You should definitely go. I just met a kid who decided he didn't want to train around all the douches at WVU's student facility, so he trains with a former Westside member. Kid's an elite 148 when he steps on the platform this year. Anywho, the situation reminds me of yours and I think you'd benefit a huge amount. I'm like 2hrs away, so it's a bit of a ride, but if I'm ever in the area, we'll go.

I think you are right, I would benefit. I am 20 pounds off the USPA 198 Junior National DL record. I need a training partner, good teachers, and good equiptment, at least at some times.

The national record #s for ^ are 601/397/606. Time to start working for those.

I think Elite levels for RPS are 1475 Total. I can't find individual lifts. I want to get there. RPS state records for ^ are 435/325/590. Aka I WILL own those when I step up to an RPS meet. Those are AM. The PRO #s are 445/415(wow)/600. All goals to shoot for.


Just throwing some stuff out there that I want to hit as goals/accomplish in the coming years as a Junior lifter. Like we have talked about, Fed records mean nothing, but can serve as goals for me to try and reach and measure my progress against other lifters. Obviously one day I would want to be able to compete at a really high level. I will def end up heavier than 198 though.
 
Well decided to squat a day early. Bad idea. Also in the morning. Terrible DOMs from deads on Tuesday. Couldn't keep my back tight for anything. Glutes an hams were fried. Hit warm ups then 260x5 300x5 and 340x4(-1). Was pissed but that's what I get. I feel like I always leave some on the bar because I'm not recovered from my pulls. Today was that +1. Anyways. Finished with 340x3,2,2 315x3 for some volume. My motto is if I can't get big weight or reps, get big volume. Stretched and left. Was on a time limit because of work too.

Maybe could have got 340x5 but no spotter and with how I was feeling decided to leave one in the tank.
 
Just had a great thought. Rep squats on Saturday. 315x5-7, 5 sets. If I feel fresh.

PS I'm sick. I think a cold? I coughed up a little blood last night but I think it was just drainage.

Yeah good enough but I need to be killing it more. Considered switch squats and deads up? But then I have the same problem recovering for deads. I need an 8 day week
 
Shoulder/bicep tendonitis is basically gone. I don't want to speak too soon but literally just up and vanished. Just some rare, minor feeling of discomfort. I am considering going back to the gym and hitting leg press and ham curls tonight just because I never got my assistance in this morning. Yea or Nay?

I didn't. Gona study. Pulled off a 100 on my first APII lab quiz today so gona study for my lecture quiz tomorrow. I think speed/rep squats Saturday sounds delightful and hit some ham work the as well plus mobility for the shoulder to prep for Mondays comeback session.
 
I guess my post in here never went through. Thanks man! I'm trying. Workouts have not been up to par lately with the injury and now being sick etc... I plan on coming in monday and going strong on bench, then hitting a solid week of deads and squats to finish. Have a new, better focus on form and improve my sleep and diet as well. Diets been good, at least as good as I can here. I should probably cut back a little, or switch to more protein less carbs. I have only been sleeping 4-5 hours a night though. I also want to add more conditioning back in.

I don't expect to or want to look like a bodybuilder. Anyone else notice that after wearing a belt your stomach just wants to push out against it, but it's not there so it just kinda sticks out.

1 bottle of erase and anabeta on the way to get me through until LG comes through with their natadrol that I'm gona be logging. Should be a nice boost and I'm gona try to dry out the tiniest bit, but definitely gain some strength and eat big and clean. Now back to the bowl. The SHs are just making this look like childs play.
 
Let me make it clear that I hate colds. Seriously. Nothing like a stomach and head full or mucus and perpetual coughing to make you feel ready to take on the world.
 
The old natadrol was the ish can't wait to see how the new one works.. That game last night was the worst Super Bowl I ever watched. Well I just watched the first half haha.

Back unto the bench here soon, hopefully hit some normal weights pain free today! I feel a little weird/unstable but nothing bad. Honestly the shoulder is almost MORE mobile at this point... maybe I had some bad adhesions or something the tendon was getting hung up on or the coracoacromial (sp) ligament was inflamed from something else in there, but things are feeling better so I am gona push it but not over do it to the point where I make it worse again. Tight form etc today.
 
First normal bench in 3 weeks. No pain but a little funky feeling.

Thanks man. I made up for the low weight with some volume. I think once it finishes healing ill be more stable and strength will return. Just gota play it safe and smart. I mean that's not bad by any means but not my best.

Thanks big dog. I'm trying to get over this cold/shoulder injury and get back to slamming plates. Gona kill some deads today.

My chest is unbelievably sore. I can't even explain how much pain. both sides. Nothing feels bad on the left, but wow, my pecs must have had a nice vacation because they sure didn't like getting back to work. The good news is that I never trained my pecs over the past year directly, because my tris were always holding me back. I guess I just have to get them back up to par now and keep moving.

D2w2c14. Dead. Bw-196. I've starting doing a littler intermittent fasting. Not following anything specific just not eating late basically. Trying to cut out my crappy snack food. Girl at the gym said I was dropping the weights at 385... Right. I just laughed and said okay and finished my workout. All the guys lifting were just like. She's an idiot.

Out and eat. Cut my hand open and got a big blood blister on the first 545 then popped it open on the second rep. I was thinkin about doubling it but didnt because of hand/grip. I was actually happy with my deads today.

Thanks guys. That's probably the easiest 545 rep I've ever done minus the meet lift of 550. I've hit it ~3-4 other times. And today felt like I could double it. haha.

Hand actually didn't hurt at all, that's a wound from my meet, that keeps opening and bleeding underneath my callus. Just, squeezing the bar pushed all the blood out. It wasn't that bad but I didn't want to make it so bad I can't lift w/ that hand. I feel like I got decent volume in, some heavy singles, and +1 on my rep. And felt good about it. I was really like... tired? I just didn't have physical energy when I got to the gym. I felt refreshed, and healthy, but no insane drive. I mentally changed that though. I am finding that mental state and personal motivation really play into your performance. So I am going to spend more time getting myself into that state of mind. I have to remember why I train, why I do this, why I want this so bad. I start thinking about that and things just get better... I think I was tired today because I slept a lot, trying to catch back up and heal up as well as recover from this cold. So, hopefully get my health in order here soon and then get back on that training grind.

Why do all your suggestions sound so painful? haha. Actually it looks better already, doesn't hurt... callous isn't even that bad. it's just broken underneath and apparently likes to reopen.

It is painful but only for a few seconds. It was recommended to me after tearing callouses off of my hands. It works and dries the raw skin out pretty quickly.

Makes sense. Mine didnt rip off. But the skin under did and the callous filled with blood. I drained it and as good as new.
 
Just downed a cap of erase and 2 caps anabeta. Also got 250g ALCAR.... yum yum. Study time, back to the gym tomorrow.
 
So, I noticed the erase caps looked a little different than I remembered. I looked at the ingredients and it has the same as erase pro minus the Boerhaavia Diffusa (Root) Extract.

Erase is supposed to have Androst-3,5-dien-7,17-dione.

Mine says: Uncaria Tomentosa (Bark) Extract, Abieta-8,11,13-trien-18-oic acid

Edit: saw online that they are reformulating basically everything so this could be the new formula for it? I kind of wish I knew about that in a way... but if they say this is better I'll take their word for it.

I have to say just from 1 cap erase 2 anabeta and a gram alcar I was feeling full of energy already. I think ill dose 1 erase am 2 pre workout. And anabeta split 2 pre and 2 with post workout.

Well, the natadrol got here a lot faster than I thought... so I am just going to switch over to it and log it... save the erase/anabeta as a kind of PCT/bridge whatever. I only used 2 caps erase/2 caps anabeta so I will basically be half a day short... not a big deal. I was already kinda liking how I felt though, so that will be fun when I get there. I got 2 bottles of natadrol @120 caps each, so will be taking at 4 a day for 60 days. Might bump up to 6 a day depending what they want. I'm excited and my only concern is my shoulder going into this. It does feel better though, just sore as heck after that bench session. I'm gona do a deload if I even make it in at all today... busy as heck with classes work labs studying etc. I'll post more details on the natadrol in the thread I'm making ut I will post info on it here as well as I will continue this as my training log until I select a new meet down the road.

Gona hit some lighter chest sets like 225 I think. Volume. Then tris and some rows, nothing over the top. My body hated me for Monday... Was not ready to go back in that bar apparently... Lol. I am though.
