I'm shocked after hearing it was the best... I tried cinnamon and it would say it was a 6.5-7.

I'm thinking of trying the jammin bars but $32 for 10 = no go for now.
 
Yeah, I liked the sugar Cookie way better.. Similar subtle taste is common between the two but the flavor for this was awful

PES Peanut Butter Cups

Recipe
6oz Yogurt
2 Scoops PB Cup Select
Dash Cocoa
Dash Splenda
1 TBSP PB Lean or Pb2 (For Filling)

Directions

Mix Yogurt + Select Protein + Cocoa + Splenda in a bowl to form a protein pudding
Take a muffin trey and line with linen cups.
Fill 1/3 of the linen cup with the protein pudding and toss in freezer for 30 minutes
Mix PB Lean with water to make a thick sludge/pudding consistent to use as your peanut butter filling for the cups. After applying PB Filling toss in freezer for 30 minutes
After pulling out of freezer the second time add the rest of the protein pudding made with select, cocoa, and Splenda as the topping to the PB Cup. And freeze for another 30 minutes
Pull out and remove linens and your Peanut Butter Cups are complete!

I tried the Quest Mint chocolate bar last night.
It has a decent mint taste, was hoping for a bit stronger, but good. The chocolate cookie chunks mixed in taste similar to a Girl Scouts cookie and these definitely make the bar. -8.5/10

I had similar thoughts on the mint flavor. I wish it was more on the Quest Bars, but mine did not have too many mix ins.
 
Had the bup jamming pub and j it was delicious the filling was great... Outer part wasn't a strong flavor but I enjoyed the nice soft texture

Alright. thats it. im going to pick up Kodiak Cakes and see what the fuss is about.
When i was at Kyle Hunt's this weekend he said my pancakes (With extra fluffy) were better than Kodiak Cakes.

No doubt that they could be, kodiak cakes are pretty tasty too bud

Do you have a preference between the buttermilk honey and the whole wheat oat & honey?

Assuming you've tried both...
 
Ingredients: 100% whole grain wheat flour, 100% whole grain oat flour, non-fat dry milk, dry honey (honey, wheat starch), leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate), egg whites, salt. Just add water.

I've tried both. Both are great IMO. So I just grab whatever is on the shelf. Right now I'm using whole wheat oat and honey.

Obviously mixing the protein and other sweeteners will make a difference so it's a bit difficult to actually taste the buttermilk honey versus the whole wheat oat and honey.

Why not just buy whole wheat flour, blend some oats, add an egg or egg whites and add own baking powder and salt? Probably 10 times cheaper. And you could mix these, minus the wet, before hand and keep it in a container and just use as needed so you don't always have to make a new batch. Or just get a basic add water pancake mix and add your egg whites with the water? 4.99 seems like a lot for a 20 oz box.

Personally, I only use eggs, bananas and protein powder to make pancakes... But I suppose people buy it for the same reason they buy other prepackaged mixes... Convenience and because they like the taste. Besides, if it was all about saving a few cents, why not make everything from scratch?

It would be a lot more than a few cents, especially over time. And one can make their own prepackaged mix, like I suggested :)

Thats why i buy the extra fluffy from walmart, i am usually always adding:
Splenda, SF/FF Pudding Mix, Egg/Egg Whites, Almond Milk or Yogurt to my pancakes which make a pretty good stack.
1.62 a box for the same size, and macros are pretty identical
1.5/27/3 compared to 1/27/7 in the Kodiak

By the time you add all the extras you throw in the mix, the macros aren't identical anymore.

Yup, but it makes a superior product. if i bought kodiak i would never just add water.
Extra Fluffy = Add water only. I just choose to add the extra's due to the superior tasting/rising product.
They are two identical products with macros basically. Except for kodiak has a bit higher protein.

Very true. However, I would saw that a decent amount of people will not just add water. I was actually watching a YouTube video last night where the person added a whole egg and protein powder. I doubt there are a lot of people that just add water. Plus, one could take a regular mix and just add liquid egg whites instead of water to get similar macros without adding anything else.

I do like chocolate mint every now and then. I haven't tasted a good protein choc-mint protein flavour yet tho. COR and MTS are on the list to try...

My gf is a huge mint choc fan and loves this flavor as well. I'm pretty much indifferent on mint choc flavors but I thought it was pretty good as well. Wouldn't have bought a tub myself since it's just not something I'd crave regularly but certainly didn't dislike it at all either.

She's also obsessed (like full blown eliminating meals to fit them in) with the new quest mint choc bars ha

The mint quest are pretty good, the cookie chunks in it remind me of a Girl Scout cookie.

They're good IF you get a lot of mint chunks, otherwise it is an average bar IMO. I've had 2 so far, my first was a 7/10, mostly chocolate, not too many chunks, second one was an 8.5, more chunks, so more of a mint flavor.

So true! Base of bar is avg but kind of like a BnJ pint when you get screwed on the mix ins lol

Cellucor Mint Choc Chip is a killer flavor, hands down one of our best sellers. Dan would not flavor a bad product after himself haha.

1 red velvet/cake batter

They should make pretty great additions to sludge and pancake glazes

Chocolate Hazelnut is like nutella too (wish you would of got it)

Are these all PB lean or Oats?

Yeah the PB Lean is awesome for sludge and glaze's like you see in my videos.
