Cookies and Cream PROTEAN?

Well-known member
Hey guys and gals.

For anyone who doesn't live in a hole knows that red velvet cake and Vanilla mint swirl are some of the best PROTEAN flavors ever created.

What are your thoughts of iForce Cookies and Cream?
What are the top 3 protein powders you have used taste wise?

CnC is a hard flavor to hit, I think XF still holds the trophy for best tasting protein(Cinna Roll, LCP, CnC). No offense to loudy and the iforce team, I appreciate the samples and how you always take care of me.

I say try something that hasn't been done yet. I think a strawberry cheesecake would be something to bring to the table. Granted I could also imagine that being tough flavor to get right. I mean look at XF, they went away from traditional flavors for a few things and got a great response.

Top 3:
1. XF Cinna Roll
2. Trutein Cinna
3. XF LCP

I was just thinking that Iforce or Trutein needs to jump on a cookies and creme flavor and do it right.

As far as best tasting Protein for the cookies and cream flavor or just in general?

For best Cookies and Cream flavors that I have personally tried I would say it goes:
1. Muscle Milk
2. UP 2.0
3. Syntha 6/Betancourt Big Blend (taste identical to me)

For Protein in general:
1. XF Artic Lemonade
2. Cinabun Trutein
2. Champion Whey Milk Chocolate/ XF chocolate whey (tie)

I have yet to try Protean but I am really interested in trying some of the red velvet cake in the near future I hear great things.

Any cookies in creme flavor should definitely have real cookie bits. Also, I would like to finally get a cookies and cream that really emphasizes a creamy and real oreo flavor instead of vanilla protein with cookie bits thrown in as an afterthought like most seem to be. Make this happen Iforce your products always seem to taste amazing

I would say red velvet cake is away from the norm... and its doing amazingly well reviews are NUTS!

I am not bashing Iforce by any means, Vaughn and Loudy know I love the brand and majority of the products. But RVC did nothing for me. It tasted like the old ON chocolate with a slightly stronger taste. VMS was good, but very easy to get sick of due to the extremely sweet flavor. Vanilla was just like most others on the market.

Im talking about really getting away from the norm. UP 2.0 Lemon Cream Pie is phenomenal.

Strawberry or Normal Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Cannoli Filling, Apple Pie, Peach Cobbler, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, Reeses Cup(**** CPB, have yet to try one that tastes like reeses), Cookie Dough, Could you imagine a 3 musketeers flavored protein? Im just saying, get away from the norm, something that has never been done whether its one flavor or a whole dessert line, hit the nail on the head and you'll take the protein market as a whole.

I have to agree. While i love C&C and would love to see Iforce make this flavor, I would be much more excited over some flavors that stray away from the norm. It seems like yall were very successful with RVC so lets see something different like that.

I think a Key Lime Pie flavor with real graham cracker crumbles would be unbelievable if done right

well from a business stabd point its very tough to make a flavor that isnt completely guranteed to be liked.
the batches that you run in making a protein are HUGE.
what if the flavors dont sell?

Do we go for a niche like XF and make off the chart protean flavors? or stick to the norm and get the mass market.

Its a tough call, I was just seeing what other companies, (dymatize, ON, BSN ETC) had a solid Cookies and cream flavor....

You guys need to do something like fruity. Orange, Pineapple and Banana (all in one like the juice).

There are plenty of CnC, PB, etc on the market, BARELY any good tasting types like that.

Reese's Cup would be so freaking awesome. I used BSN Lean Dessert Chocolate Coconut, tasted just like a Mounds/Almond Joy type of candy.

The only good tasting CnC I've found is Muscle Milk. I'm still waiting on someone to develop a biscuits n gravy protein. That would sell like crazy down here in the South.

XF, only one I enjoyed. They are hard to beat in regards to flavor.

That would amazing as well, a good strawberry banana or something

i drank pine orange bana by the JUG when i was a kid!

hmmmm well we could make an orange and a banana and then you could blend pineapple in it?

This! these ideas are great.

It's not cookies and cream, but it's got real bits of cookies, I think being milk and cookies makes it a little less sweet, i think it tastes pretty good.

I"ve tried MP and Giant Sports CnC. Giant Sports CnC is far better. It does have more of the cream taste than the chocolate cookie part. Its still excellent though. It mixes very thick.

Cookies and Creme would be far too sweet. I keep thinking of the Hershey' cookies and Creme for a flavour to match up with:

The white chocolate alone makes it extremely sweet.

Biscuits and gravy protein just sounds awful lol

I would like to have something fruit flavored with a thinner consistency kind of like the isopure rtds. You could use the maximize mango peach tea flavor and I would be all over it.

Raspberyy lemonade, strawberry kiwi, orange banana pinapple, cherry limeade, lemonade, arnold palmer or any refreshing summer drink. I know they would be hard to get the flavor and consistency down but they would be different and worth it in my opinion. Nothing is worse than coming in from a workout in 100 degree heat sweating your ass off and having to chug some thick heavy chocolate flavor. That is why I loved XF artic lemonade it was refreshing after a workout. Good fruit flavored protein is a severely untapped market.
