I am now into week 4 of my 1-T/4-AD/1,4ADD cycle and have witnessed my bench going up by 5-10lbs/week, my squats up 20-30lbs/week, and Military Press up 5lbs/week, but my measurements are all the same! I have gained bulk "weight" although it has only been fat. My diet consists of egg whites, oatmeal, broccoli, turkey, chicken, cottage cheese, sweet potatoes, etc. etc... I train using Max-OT principles, so I should be seeing BOTH size and strength. My overall weight is up 14lbs, but my BF has gone from 8% to 13%, my waist from a 30 to a 34 :\ Geez.. what's going wrong here!

You need to eat more.

With either fat or water weight,I would be really odd to gain 4" in the waist, and not have some change in your arms , chest, quads, etc. as well. Are you sure of your measuring methods before and now?

The only way I can conceive of an ab only gain, would be some form of weird cortisol fat distribution thing, but I don't know enough about this to further comment.

how long have you been on your current workout routine? I had some similar results on a cycle like that, except increase in bf, a while back but it was because i needed to change out some of my exercises then i managed to get slightly bigger before my cycle ended.

well, the skinfold calipers read 4mm higher on my abdomen. It appears I have gained fat elsewhere too (arms are less vascular and look "smooth"..) Anyone have any ideas as to why I keep increasing in strength, but not in size?? I mean, how much strength can one gain without growing?

If you having very Endomorphic Genetics, you might want to limit your carb intake to just the slowest burning things. And even then, only have them in small amounts. Maybe 80-100g of carbs at most, everyday, consistently.

bump this, real interested in further discussion here as I'm having that exact opposite problem, I'm defininitely gaining size but no freakin strength, and this is w/ dbol!

Cobain's dilemma is a good question for Bobo, and Cobra's for the Anabolics forum, the Dbol experts may never see this in the Prohormones section. Dr. D  will probably chime in sometime soon, he has a informed opinion on damn near everything.

the gear should allow him to take in and utilize a greater amount of calories than normal though, so he should be fine anywhere from 3-400 IMHO. but he does have a good idea. cut carbs slightly and wait to see what happens

alright, I'll cut the carbs. I have only been taking in roughly 250g though, and about 400g protein. BTW I am 216lbs @ 6'2" (was 202 w/8% BF) with 13%bf.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with gaining only strength w/out size??

The extra strength gain is from the androgens, if your diet is on target which it sounds like it's not, you can conceivably keep these strength gains. Once you get off of the androgens, the water you are holding will leave, along with the strength you have experienced, again due to a poor diet, and/or training habits.
