If I eat eggs while lying upside down in a chair will it make the eggs covert directly to muscle tissue?.
depends on how you cook the egg, of course
also, the whites have a tendency to convert just fine, but the yolks get saturated in the cranium region and could thicken blood to induce higher incidence of stroke potential

Don't forget to eat the shells as well, amplifies protein synthesis.

This thread reminds me of an ad in a magazine once when I was in high school. It pointed out the fact that gorillas can bench X amount of weight and are so much stronger than a human, but their diet consists mainly of vegetation and relatively little protein. The claim was that some chemical caused this and they were selling a supplement with that compound. I remember seeing it with my friend and we looked at each other and he just said, "Um, yeah, he's a f'in gorilla!"

when you mix the fast anf slow the fast is slowed down , so now you have med-slow protein... you get better gains/results from sharp amino acid spikes in the blood and fast protein like whey iso, is better option for this. i much rather have 6 sharp spiked of aminos then 2-3 slow digesting drinks... unless you are in a triathlon or srsly cutting your food for cutting, I would rec fast protein. or at the very least not mixed, have your fast, then an 1hr later your slow if you really want... the 4 or w/e blend of fast and slow is over hype and actually less effective for muscle gains IMO

This train of thought is so archaic and disproven that I wouldn't know where to begin. Separating fast and slow components? Come on dude...

it just seemed like all the cool guys were doing it, so thought maybe it would work for me.. :dunno:

I jest -- was the method proposed by poliquin, so I gave it a shot

no - you simply have two different proteins with different absorption rates...the slow does not "slow" the fast

yes the casein for example "gels" and slows the fast....

you loose some of the fast spike in amino from say iso-whey, when its mixed with slow protein like casein .... there is nothing to disprove... its not a train of thought and does not apply to all products. in in this case it does..

Gorillas food proccessing and intestines in general are not the same as humans, they take in alot from a little.. on top of other genetic factors... but i totally see BS supp places jumping allover the twisted idea to sell product. : (

Whey protein concentrate recommended 60 min preworkout? Been doing that with a bowl of cream of wheat lately. Wasn't sure if the faster WPI would be better advised...

Depends on your tolerance for things digesting in your tummy close to/during workouts.

When literally all research comparing blends to isolate show otherwise, I think it's pretty clear there's "something to disprove."

Lol that's pretty funny. maybe we should give gorillas the compound made by humans that allows us to have higher intelligence

 :D
