Compound Lifts right for me?

I have just been working out about a month and want to make sure I am Lifting correctly. I am 26, about 5'8" and weight is about 170. According to mybodycomp.com I am about 25% bodyfat....I hope it's not that bad...Anyway I have read articles saying that compound body
workouts that focus on large muscle groups are the way to go so I have followed this routine 3 times per week...Look o.k. Suggestions welcomed!
SQUAT 3 SETS 8-10 REPS FOR ALL
LEG CURL
BENCH PRESS FLAT
BENT-OVER ROW
SHRUG
LAT RAISE
CURL
TRICEP EXTENSION
 
Compound exercises always should be included in any resistance programming but it also depends on your goals. At 25% bf, you should really be focused more on getting your diet in check. At that amount it would failry easy for you to gain LBM while dropping fat with the right diet/training program.
