"The 2005 Yahoo! Sports College Football Pick'em season is here. Show your school colors and pick the winning college football teams each week.

The game is free, so all you need to play is your Yahoo! ID."

I've created a group... if you want to play this year, click the link below and join now.

After you click to sign-up and then log-in (or create a Yahoo! ID if you don't have one) you will need to follow these steps:

(1) Click "Join Existing Group"

(2) Click "Join a Private Group"

(3) Enter the group ID: 4077 and password: 1crown

Then you will be prompted to create a name for your pick-set (a user name for yourself) and a few other details.

That's it.

Picks must be made each week prior to Friday at 3PM PST/6PM EST.

We will be picking straight winners; not against the spread.

If you're interested, join now; I've limited the group to 25 players and am inviting others to join as well.

I'm in. I usually do this on my own without any groups just so I can see the spreads every week. I am not very good at ATS, so maybe I'll do better this way. Thanks for the group.

The Yahoo! Pick'Em rules have a Q&A that states:

What actual games are used in in College Football Pick'em? Scoring for Yahoo! Sports College Football Pick'em includes all games played by Top 25 teams (according to the weekly AP poll) on either Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Ok everyone... our College Football Pick'Em "league" is locked. No new members can join any longer... but those of you who are in MUST get your picks in soon. The deadline is Friday 3PM EST!

I'm in and made my picks. I chose two upsets. But both games were under 3 pts, so I don't really think they would be considered "upsets" if I got them right. Good luck to all!

How do some people already have 17 points?
Not sure what you mean ???

When I log in, I see that everyone is ranked 1... being all tied up at the start and all... with everyone having 0 total points.

Edit: Oh, I see where you get that from. I don't know why it reads that way, but bottom-line, those who have picked all have 0 pts showing. Those who have not picked are showing no 'dash' marks for their picks... and, btw, will be DQ'd if they don't get their picks in.

Eh, kind of missed a week. Oops, life gets crazy like that.

Heh, I got the go on the most points scored by a team this week, though. Dang, look at Texas Tech string up 80! 650 yards passing? Yeah, it's Sam Houston State, but still...sheesh.

That's one game where it's actually cool to watch the guy cheerleaders. 80 straight, guys. No cheats! Heh.
