Coconut Oil Question

I recently started using coconut oil topically for some skin problems, it works great. But, my question is this, I know it has some great health benefits if ingested.

Serving size is a tablespoon, but does anyone here already use it?

How many servings a day is best?

Also, I'm assuming just grab a tablespoon and chew it up right?

Yea, add a tablespoon to a shake or a drink. It melts at around 25 C . Depends on your caloric intake , don't want you to start gaining weight from it :P 1-2 tbsp per day is fair. I've been doing that with Invalid Link Removed. Great stuff.

I use it with my eggs and potatoes everyday. It adds a nice sweetness to them and is much easier to cook with than EVOO.

High quality coconut oil is the **** :yup: , for cooking and just straight up tablespoon or two... just has a yummy smooth taste to it.

Thanks a lot to everyone who replied. That link is awesome, good deal here at Nutra I'm going to order my next bottle from here.

Gonna take a tablespoon morning and night, after researching some of the benefits people claim it helps them with, it's worth a shot!

i just grab a spoon dig into my jar of EVCO and take a tablespoon or two to the head, melts in y our mouth like m&m's.

Good in oatmeal too.

I like it in hot foods more than cold (liquid form rather than solid chunks).

There was a recent article in NY times about cooking and baking with it. I'm not going to go find the link but it is easily googleable for anyone interested.
