If it's plain creatine, it's best combine with dextrose or a high gi juice for transportation. Loading is usually 20 grams a day for 5 days in divided doses. After 5 days 1-2 servings for maintenance. Try to drink an extra 16 oz of water for every 5 grams of creatine you take. Creatine (and protein) is hydrophilic so water is important for it to work properly.

If taking creatine keep your water intake high....however you do not need to take creatine mono with a Hi GI juice and you do NOT have to load it...loading is a crock of bull, it's a marketing gimmic and a solid recipe for wasting creatine as well as stomach discomfort, bloat, cramps and farts for many people, so if you like the sound of that give the loading phase a whirl...

Seriously tho, creatine mono is great stuff and exactly where you should start with supplements(well along with whey) once you get your diet down...Just take 5 grams of your micronized creatine monohydrate with your pre-workout meal/snack/drink
