Based on the hormonal physiology of T3 I would say that it could have positive effects towards recovery. The effects of T3 in all cells includes increased BMR (metabolism)
increased oxygen uptake
increased protein synthesis
increased number and activity of membrane Na+/K+ pumps

All those actions I believe would lead to increased recovery within muscle cells. The only downside to T3 would be its short 2-3 hour activity window. It might help with recovery but it takes protein synthesis about 24-48 hours to fully repair damaged muscle so I don't think 2-3 hours of increased activity would contribute significantly towards recovery but I don't know how people dose something like T3 my thinking is simply based on the physiology of this hormone.

Clenbuterol I do not believe would aid in recovery since it is only a beta2 agonist which leads to an increase in BMR via increased cardiac output, it doesn't have any direct effects on protein synthesis at the cellular level like T3 does.
