I'm attempting to guage the effects of this cult-like supplement.

Some swear by it, bb'ing articles and magazines pimp it, but every time I read a list of supps someone is one, it rarely makes the list. I imagine it has to do in large part with the time one needs to commit to its use without instant gratification (8-12 weeks).

To be fair, please only respond if you used CLA consistenly for a period of no less than 8 weeks and at doses of no less than 4 grams a day as these seem to be the minimum requirements (although not the typical suggestions of 12 weeks and 6 grams a day).

If you LOVE what CLA did for you, please list your protocol and brand used.

Ive run this for over a year at times. I usually dose 3g with 4 meals. Ive heard straight from the mouths of upcoming amatuer and pro bodybuilders to up my dosage. That means that yes, they are using this too. I dont just notice losing fat, but slowly adding muscle with this too.

2 stacks ive had success with is: CLA with OxyElite Pro, Recreate and Anabolic Pump from Usp Labs.
The other is the Fat Loss Stack from Primordial Performance. The ThermoDerm in the FLS is crazy. As in really good.

wat u did 12g of CLA per day? damn thats expensive

everyone please let us know how long you consistantly used it

I have noticed it helps me flatten my stomach especifically visceral fat under the abbs, I use 8-10 grams a day, using for 12 weeks at a time then sometimes a short break, it works and suggest you use a high dose

I've been using our own CLA (Primordial Performance) and a generic brand for approximately a year, I agree with jayts22 it really helps to reduce visceral fat.

ive been doing 6g/day for almost a month no big changes yet. i think the important part is the caloric deficit, which is where it will help more with keeping muscle and using fats for fuel.

as far as 10+ g/day... thats is a lot of money indeed, but compared to most fat burners its about the same price if u use the nutra brand.

I use the Primaforce version, at 5-6 grams per day. Was very skeptical at first, but it truly did melt pudge from my gut and love handles quite well. It's not an immediate impact, but after almost a month, it was noticeable to me and everyone else. I have noticed it seems to aggravate/cause more joint pain for me though, so I suspect it might have something to do with inflammation. Used it for a couple years, and never noticed that, until a few months ago. Anyways, it works very well for me.

CLA only works with a lean diet in place. just like every other supplement out there, diet has to be on point to recognize the effectiveness. that's why i (and many others) hate recommending supplements without the diet in place first.

Anyone else have trouble with joint pain? Any recommendation on the cheapest brand that you're comfortable buying?

I have been using CLA for some time now, and it is working nicely. You know, now that you mention it, my joints do seem to hurt more, I thought it was my old age, lol. I use Natures way CLA-1300, and I take 3, three times a day for a total of 11.7 grams a day. I have started stacking it with l-carnitine and beta alanine, and loving the results so far. I am sure once get off my butt and add some cardio to my regime, the results will be even better.
