Cissus MegaDosing

First let me say that I am just about done with my first bottle, and I am definatly diggin this stuff. I'm taking 4 caps a day, and also stacking with Camph at 4 caps a day. So far here is what I've noticed.

decrease in joint pain, my wrists, knees, elbos, shlders still crack and pop, but they dont stop me from lifting anymore.

increase in libido, even though i'm double dosing sesamin which usually kills my sex drive, its basicly all i can think about all day.

increase in acne, although its slight, my shlders, arms, and legs have had more pimples and red marks.

My question is, what would you suggest the upper limit of Cissus be? I would like to mega dose after running it for a few months, just to see if upping the dose will highten the effects. Has anyone dosed at 2x or even 3x, and what were your results?

I regularly dose my Cissus @ 8-9 caps/day minimum and always have as long as it has been out. I have gone as high as 12 caps/day for about 3 weeks, but this was just too expensive. The effects are in fact much more pronounced at the higher dosing though. On 8-9 caps/ day my pumps (both "all day" and workout) are incredible, DOMS is nonexistent, joints are well lubed, ligaments and tendons feel very elastic  , and I just feel better. My strength goes up every week and my sleep is even enhanced. I love Cissus. It is a godsend for natural bodybuilders. I have always been natural (no AAS, PH, PS, etc) and am always looking for that product to give me an edge and I have found them in the USP line as well as the DS line.

I say, if you can afford it -> go for the higher dosing. I did rather enjoy the even more pronounced effects @ 12 caps/day but like I said it was too rich for my blood  but I wholeheartedly recommend 8-9 caps/day. Try it and experience the "other worldly nature" of Cissus...I know this was a bit much but really the higher dose rocks :head:

Thats exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for Anabolik1.

At 3x dosing (12 a day) a month would cost 54 bucks. Well worth it IMO. Hell thats cheaper then a month of NHA. I will have to wait till I'm done with my ph cycle, possibly starting that dosage with my pct.

+1 I havent gone that high on straight Cissus, but right now Im using a forthcoming Cissus extract from AX and am experiencing similar results. You might want to try USPLabs' Symmetry, which is also a concentrated extract of CissusQ. These new herbal anabolics are turning what I thought would be a grueling natural cut into a bonafide recomp...very cool!

Even better yet - try stacking that *with* NHA. Elevated natural test + natural anabolic goodness? Ill take an extra helping please:)

Yeah it is well worth it, but it was just slightly out of my budget considering my other staples. However, that was at the price I was getting them ($23) which was ~ $70/month...still worth it but too high for me -> at least right now  and besides 8-9 caps/day kicks major a$$.

...But...where are you finding it for $18/bottle?

How about I run a MegaDose Sale? I gone up to 15 caps a day and it's very anabolic?

Please do/don't do the sale. my wrist and knee have been sore, but so has my bank account :frustrate:

i was dosing it at 8 caps a day to get rid of an old injury in my arm that was limiting me on my workouts, two bottles later i have no pain in my arm, i love this stuff, i was like a spokesperson for it for a while trying to get everyone to try it just because i couldn't beleive that it got rid of my pain....i tried everything to get rid of that pain...only thing that worked besides cissis was good ole cortizone shots...and that was only a temp fix.
anyway...good stuff.:clap2:

that sounds excellent. Havent tried more than 6 caps a day :p

I've been writing for months about the fantastic effects of taking 8 to 9 caps a day of Cissus RX. Now after my RC problem, I have managed to recover at least 95 percent of the functionality in my shoulder thanks to Cissus. If I can recover because of it at my age (64 1/2) you youngsters should be good to go! Give you an example. Five months ago I couldn't touch my head with my left arm. Today I did 5 sets of 5 reps @315 (with a 5 count 5 hold) in rack extensions for my BPO training. The shoulder is just coming on!!

I took a heaping tablespoon of bulk extract once and was completely pain-free and pumped for about 10 hours. Awesome stuff. Love it. Want to marry it.

I read about Cissus Rx on this forum a month back. I had tendonitis in my right elbow, so bad that it made me sick to my stomach on several occasions. Since discovering Cissus ( 3 1/2 weeks ago) I 'm happy to say that the pain has gone. 6 per day and may up it to 8. If this stuff can make this pain go away I will take it forever. makes bangin the heavy weights much easier.

Props to the MegaDose sale! (when it comes)

i use between 8-10 caps per day, sometimes a little less if i'm using camph. I broke my left ankle a few years back whilst snowboarding, and was doomed to a life of paracetamol (tylenol) to help me even walk with a proper gait, let alone deadlift and squat.

since trying cissus, no more nsaids, improved rehab from training, and my squatting is back up to 320lbs and beyond. i still suffer a little pain the day after, but cissus certainly has helped me back to form, even if my ROM is restricted.

what would be interesting is to see if it's helped with reversing some of the necrosis on my talus from my injury...

the only thing i find is i can get a little GI upset if taking more than 2 at a time, so tend to spread my dose through the day.

Interesting idea bv, I wonder if cissus would help overcome the hell that rebound xt inflicts on my joints.

either way i love this stuff, and Camph. I cant wait to get to the rest of your product line. If you are ever in need of reps sign me up. you guys got a lifetime customer here.

Cissus inhibit Cortisol to healthy levels is my theory so Rebound plus Cissus could mean more joint pain..

In my experience its exactly the opposite. Ive run Cissus/PowerFULL/Symmetry stacked with ReboundXT and felt great the entire month I was on.

Right now I am trying AX's 'HH' (Cissus and Nettle extract) with Camphobolic and low-dose 6-OXO and no problems to report. My usual issues (shoulders) are a distant memory.

Great, Real world results are better than theory in my opinion.

PS-sent you an email yesterday

not that this matters in the least, but I was under the impression that the lack of estrogen from rebound was the reason for my joint pain.

How much do you weigh bro, and what was your dose of ATD?

Right now I'm around 220lbs. althought i've been up around 245 and i reacted the same. ATD at 50mg a day for more then seven days and my wrists feel like its bone on bone. It stops me from lifting, let alone lifting heavey. I have to be real careful on pct.

I wish they would make it in 5-10 mg caps..that way you could take several small doses throughout the day if you wanted to.

yeah i have no problems at all on 60x0, and at 25mg ed I'm usually ok.

its funny when i ran the beta version of the nha stack, i stopped using rbxt because of the joint issues. Then i became a moody ***** from the excess estrogen from the Activite. It took a while to feel it out before i got my dossing right.

30 mins before a meal is what works best for me - been on 9-12 since it's been first released.

I believe cissus mega-dosing is what helped a fully broken collar bone repair and let me get back in to the gym in 5 weeks, back to full strength in less than 3 months. The doctor was amazed at the rate of healing the bone had.

To Get The Best Results Is It Best To Take Cissus With Food Or On Empty Stomach ?

15-30 minutes before eating in the moring.

30 minutes before and after training for its therapuetiec effects.

Would megadosing Cissus (10-15 caps a day) be ok stacked with the normal 9 cap dosage of PowerFull?

I expect that would be SUPER anabolic. ;-)

may i ask is this like the powerful in that protein will degrade it and render it ineffective? i am asking as taking it in the morning is no prob before breakfast.however i ingest 30g of protein whey isolate before training.and i ingest a large carb/protein shake right after training.just wanted to confirm this was ok or if its rendering cissus ineffective?looking for max anabolic and healing effects.thanks usp

Well the Cissus Rx worked very well for me. Tendonitis had all but sidelined me...Just about finished with a bottle and I can bend my arm...I was getting sick to my stomach from the pain and I had to try something. My pain is greatly reduced and my workouts are 80%.It is definitely worth a try.

i want to enquire about this too. as i mentioned in another thread, i bought like 6 bottles of this stuff around 4 days ago. and i've been using it for the last 48 hours. the first thing most noticeable is the libido is absolutely through the roof. when typing in cissus in the search and reading through threads, i did come across reducing cortisol and improve libido. but i did not expect it to be this ridiculous. currently, since i have been changing all excercise routines, i figure this may be a good time to put on muscle, so to maximize this time frame, i've been on a superdrol cycle at just a pop a day. usually, i am extremely shut down on superdrol.

the second thing is, my right knee is the bad knee which hurts when i sit, but yesterday, my left knee gave out, it wasn't really painful or anything, just a very new sensation, and i kneeled down. and when i kneeled down, i could feel the right knee. which is a good thing, since i rarely get any feeling out of my right knee. this wasn't negative or anything, but just new. i mean if there was suddenly a fire, i could get up and i would be gone like the wind, since my knee has no functionality issues. another good thing was that there was a sharp pain at least once in the knee when i am sitting. this is actually a good thing, since again, the main problem with the knee is that it is a dull sensationless pain, like it cant breathe, similar to you really wanting to take your contact lens off after wearing it for 20 hours...........but can't yet.

Not sure about the mega dosing of Cissus, but I will say that I've been on it at 4/day for around 3 + months. It has repaired a torn tendon in my left arm in 3 places that at one point, I couldn't curl 10 pounds without severe pain. I'm back to 100%. Thanks USP Labs for a great product. I will use it as a maintenace supp from here on out

I'm lucky (and young!!) in that I don't have many serious lifting-related joint issues. However, occasionally I do suffer occasional impingement in both of my shoulders- esp when lifting heavy and using machines which restrict movement. I really feel Cissus has helped me prevent me from aggrivating these issues and currently I'm able to perfrom exercises/lift weights that would've put me out of action for a week afterwards.

Careful with that **** bro - speaking from experience if there is any exercise that makes you feel impingement - dont do it or use lighter weight and slower reps.

I kept trying to 'train through' impingement symptoms until one day just rotating my arm in a circle my right shoulder sounded like a damn ratchet. Took months to heal, and I still have to baby them.

Cissus takes away the pain initially but you're still injured. Connective tissue injuries like rotator cuff problems still take a long time to heal. Cissus will shorten that time, but you still have the take it easy and take the proper steps for recuperation.

I completely agree. Shoulder surgery Thanksgiving '05... my shoulder was f'd up and it felt like it would take years for me to be back to 'normal'.

After 5 months I was so frustrated with the continued discomfort I was considering taking a 2 month hiatus from lifting anything. I finally bought the Cissus about a month ago and have been mega dosing (9 caps a day) ever since.

I can honestly say that there is 90% improvement in the discomfort, although I am still cautious about about my shoulder routine, I have noticed an increase in the strength and recoverability over just a month ago.

thanks mate, will definately look after them

I'm curious- are there any specific movements which aggrivate your shoulders?

My shoulders? All of them! :)

Seriously though, I'd say the prime culprits in aggrevating impingement syndrome are heavy over head presses, especially when you go too low (past the chin) or when done behind the neck.

Heavy incline barbell bench is also stressful on the shoulder joint.

If you look at the shoulder, there's absolutely nothing holding it inplace except a complex web of connective tissue and small, relatively weak muscles. You start pounding them with heavy weight and low reps, and you over-develop the outer deltoid heads that cause an imbalance between the inner connective structure and the outer, stronger muscles. The result is, the shoulder joint ends up not tracking properly, bone rubs against the bursa sacs and rotator cuff tendons and before you know it you've got chronic inflammation. To make matters worse, that network of tendons, ligaments, and muscles is so tight and complex (the most complex joint in the body, in fact) - that blood flow is more restricted than it is in other places, making fast recovery even more of a pain in the ass.

From my experience, the best advice i can give to prevent shoulder injuries is to warm up consistently and properly, incorporating the full range of rotator cuff strengthening exercises and proper stretching. Using these methods and proper icing techniques, I was able to bring my shoulders back from the brink of chronic injury - but for nearly a year I was afraid to work them properly and as a result they are underdeveloped.

For the past couple months, however, Ive been doing all TUT movements for delts and its been a godsend. They're finally growing and getting stronger, and its not aggrevating an latent issues I still have (which will flare up immediately if I try to overdo it). They're relatively small muscles anyway - super-heavy overhead pressing is not necessary to build big delts. I really wish I could lift like that, but Im just not built for it I guess :(. I envy those short, square mesomorph bastards that can military press 225 for 20 reps without breaking a sweat!! :0

And it makes perfect sense that this movement is the only one that seems to bring any growth to my chest. If i hit it hard for a few weeks, my shoulders start to break down, and i have to switch up. but since adding cissus, i've been hitting heavey an hard for 5 weeks now, and my chest is looking dam good if i do say so myslef hahaahh.

You may have already mentioned this but does your chest not respond to heavy incline dumbbell presses?
