Cissus for a 86 year old woman?

My fiance's grandmother is 86, and has bad shoulder pain. The doc's are talking about surgery. Because of her age, she'd really like to avoid it. Do you think cissus would help and would it be safe?

I dunno but I do know i've put 3 guys and 1 lady all over their 50's on this stuff and it has helped them.

My mother who is almost 70 and lifts weights and does cardio routinely sometimes gets injured...uses Cissus...in fact she called me up a few days ago and had me bring her another bottle. She said Cissus was relieving her rib pull pain and she didn't want to run out.

Age should not preclude your fiance's grandmother's use. As far as safety is concerned make sure she is not currently on medication that has a high propensity to interact with herbs. A primary example would be the blood thinning drug Coumadin. If this is the case she should not use without a doctor's supervision.

If she is on no such medication than a small test dose of Cissus should be given first to make sure she can tolerate the herb. Cissus generally has no side-effects...however it is best to be safe.
