Cheat day

His is my first post so thank you. I am trying to cut weight and maintain my muscle. I'm 221 lbs and going to 210. I'm doing full body 3 days a week and cardio for 45 minutes everyday. Keeping my calories 1900 with 170 grams of protein and carbs around 50. So here's my question Saturday will be my cheat day how much carbs should I get and from what will help me increase my metabolism again.
 
Don't over think it. Leave Saturday as just a free day and eat normally but without the carb restriction. So still try and hit protein numbers but for carbs, just eat. No need to try and shoot for a number
 
My cheat day I don't even keep track haha I just eat and eat but make sure that I get some good meals in before training ha
 
Do those calories not seem excessively low to anyone? I'm a little heavier than you at 240, but I know I'd burn around 600 calories a day on cardio alone doing 45 minutes. That would mean I'd need to eat around 3000 or possibly more to maintain a 500 calorie deficit.

I wouldn't have a full cheat day. It's kind of like 2 steps forward, one step back. Instead, have a cheat meal. Limit yourself to one meal, give yourself 30-60 minutes to eat what you want. You can manipulate fat and carbs prior and post meal to stick closer to macros, but get the food you want. Give this article a read

I can tell you right now you're starving your self. Bring the protein to at least body weight for a cut and that low of carbs. You're below your BMR man. No bueno. Also the training, over doing it. My plan is back/bi/abs, chest/Tri/calves, shoulders/traps, legs with 3 days low intensity cardio on the stair master (hr 140) for 35 min.

You're over working and under eating. Abs are made in the kitchen
