CB Dolloway is a punk A$$ BIOTCH

When Sanchez says Mental, I think he means Psychological, attitude more than aptitude. For him it means staying intently focused and ferocious for the full fight, keeping his will up and imposing it on the other fighter. That fight was, IMO, a great example of differing effective psych styles, The Hot Sanchez and the Cool Fioravanti, staying loose and relaxed.

I haven't heard Dolloway's post fight interview, don't care to, did he maybe think he could pull off a subtle one tap release that was plausibly deniable? maybe the camera would'nt have a clean shot of it? Another Herb Dean too early stoppage? I can see that single slight tap being a premature reflex, but he should have realized and owned it right away, if that was the case. Who cares?

I was hoping Evan Tanner would show better, but it's clear he's like Ortiz and Hughes, the past generation of MMA champs that don't have the skills of the current crop, and all too old, they've lost too much athletically.

I only saw about half of it live on Spike so I don't know what they showed, but here's Hazzelett-Burkman.

Hazelett is nasty. I love the guy. Doesn't look like much but is slick as hell.

You still still training in MT, Rogue?

I just jump around like a crazed blond monkey putting a bare handed whoop ass of exotic strikes on a heavybag, jas. Mostly for the cardio and stress release, some for the fact that all martial skills and attitude begins and remains honed through unarmed practice, grasshopper.

That was one of the better armbars that I have ever seen. Not quite as good as Aurelio's or Sato's, but still a really good one.

Rodja (or anyone else), was that the standard follow through with the omaplata if you are trying to finish a guy like that? Are supposed to fold him like that or was it a variation? I've really only seen guys torque it a little but then transition into something else or sweep or something.

You need to flatten your opponent; Burkman managed to stay on his knees and it prevented Hazelett from getting enough leverage to really crank the shoulder.

When Joe was talking about how Sanchez says that the mental game is the most powerful part of MMA, I couldn't help but think that it's because Diego is as dumb as a pail of hammers. For the average guy, a one point gain in IQ is only 1 percent but for Diego it's a whopping 10 percent improvement.

My response....

Cecil Peoples BIIATCHES!!!

Diego definitely seemed gay to me, but the dude is actually dating old blond ring girl, Ali Sonoma. I nearly offed myself when I heard. Anyway, Diego is damn good. His fight with Fitch was really close.

I thought he was dating Dora the Explorer????

Diego Sanchez looked fukcin unreal with the stand up game against overly obese Luigi.

Diego looked SCARY. That is the old Diego we all remember. Although I still want to see him use the ground game more in the future. I want to see the ground game he had against Karo + the new striking skills he seemed to have obtained. Kos rematch would be amazing.

As for CB he is a damn tool, lay and pray!

He does have ammy fights and is a BB in Sambo. He is not exactly a green fighter by any means, especially with his MT background.

I didn't mean he didn't have a good background, what I think is that he, from what I saw on the show in that house, is one of the guys who has most room for improvement and should get drastically better once he gets in a MMA gym that would help him.

He was a one sided guy at the beggining of the competition, learned (improved should I say) a lot with Griffin as far as scrambling goes, but I couldn't name anyone else that would have a better chance on expanding his techniques.
