Hey guys, need some advice... So I'm in law enforcement and I have a bad habit of coming home late and trying eat a last meal... I want to avoid this; I heard about casein protien a while ago. As of now I take epiq isolate and I love it but also know that it's not casein. Any recommendations on which one I can get... And is it as good for you as everyone says it is.. Any information/advice is greatly appreciated... Thanks

The first ingredient in Epiq Isolate is Milk Protein Isolate. Milk protein is 80% casein. You are all set in regards to a Casein protein with the Epiq Isolate.

FWIW - Tomorrow though Monday I heard GNC is going to have BOGO 50% off on their Epiq products.

You do not need a straight casein protein unless you enjoy the consistency and thickness of it.

I would go with a whey/casein blend but if you enjoy your epiq isolate, stick with it.

I agree it may not be my first personal choice of protein but Epiq Isolate is MPI, WPI, and Calcium Caseinate in that order. Pretty much a whey/casein blend :)

I just something that I can drink before bed and have it digest slowly while I sleep... Something to not put stress on my stomach ...

Didn't know that... Thanks ... I guess I'm looking for something that I have lmao

Wow , didn't know that I have what I'm looking for... I do really like the epiq isolate... It's taste great and it's really clean.. To find out that it has a casein blend is a plus!!!

We have a lot of casein protein options over at strong supplement shop if u want to check it out.

This.. As long as your meeting protein intake in the 24 hour period if you use whey, casein, blend, eggs, steak, chicken it does not matter. what matters is meeting protein minimums on a daily basis.

Hit you macros my man, just like said above, as long as you hit them you will see results

Just echoing the solid advice already given :)

About 5 years ago I tried doing casein shakes before bed -- absolutely hated the taste/consistency lol. I tend to sleep better having not eaten something right before hitting the sack, but as long as you've got your caloric/macronutrient totals met for the day, you'll be set. If you do in fact want to eat/drink something when you get home, might as well make it tasty! Make yourself some of Driven2lift 's delicious high-protein treats :)
