Carb source at dinner....

Often I'm on the middle of the dinner and I realize that I have still 30-50g of Carb left.
Say I need/planned 200g and I realize I'm at 160g.
I don't want to untroduce an High glicemix index carb at 8 PM, so I'm searching a medium -low Glic index carb to add at the end of my dinner.
I HAVE TO AVOID fruit, and oats ( and obviously pasta , rice, and bread and potetos).
Any suggestion?

Curious as to why you feel you "have" to avoid fruit

well you just said you have to avoid all those carb sources which contain low glycemic carbs

yet you say you want to take in low glycemic carbs...you made no sense there

have some whole grains or oats bud, you'll be good to go

I can't because if I use Fruit at Dinner or lunch I have problems...
Just to be sure to have a good amount of fruit I usually consume fruit away from big meal (I consume usually at breakfast, and in the 10AM and 4 PM snack.

I asked ... I asked for this reason, just to have some possible substitute to the normal sources of Low glicemic index food..

replying to myself ,..... maybe quinoa can be good

Perhaps a sweet potatoe or blue sweet potatoes. Even ancient grains like kamut and quinoa would be good sources of low glycemic carbs. You could also try beans. Garbanzo beans are higher in carbs than red or black beans
