Can fat burners cause long term issues?

I recently had a negative experience with the supplement Dren. Approximately a week and half ago I dosed one capsule of Dren and experienced the worst side effects I've ever experienced before. My blood pressure rose, my head felt as it was going to explode, and the anxiety was terrifying.

After a week and half I am still experiencing problems, problems I never had until using Dren. The blood pressure seems to rise the most when I eat something sweet or salty, or late at night. I have never had these problems before and it is getting difficult to sleep.

Can a fat burner like Dren cause long term side effects?

Dren? From MHP right?

Personally, I haven't used this product but just looked at the ingredient profile and would've said "NO" to it within seconds of reading it. Wanna know why? It's got yohimbine hcl in it. The main ingredient around Dren is it's PEA analogue. I think it was resolved that this analogue is completely inactive or something. My guess would be the YHCL that's giving you the fcked up side effects. Take it from someone who has practically used every stimulant fat-burner, in which most contained YHCL, just stay away! What bothers me is that you've been off a week and a half, and you're still experiencing problems. This might be a horrific withdrawal from the stimulant or you might have underlying conditions in which the yohimbine could've magnified it.

Either way bro, just go to your doctor and get a basic check up done. Blood pressure, vital signs, etc. And let him know what you are experiencing.

Honestly, yohimbine is complete trash unless used topically. This is the only type of route I think yohimbine should be used for. I seriously don't get why manufacturers still continue to use YHCL after countless consumer reviews and reports. The basic pharmacology on yohimbine should let you know; for anyone that doesn't know yet, yohimbine hcl activates the receptors that turn ON lipolysis, but also turn ON the receptors that BLOCK lipolysis from happening.

Trust me, when I first heard about this, I was like wow, no fckin wonder why it never successfully worked for me. Oh and the stimulant properties of it are garbage as well. You come down just as fast as you went up, horrible. There are sooo many more cons than pros on YHCL, I still can't understand why people choose to use it.

Alpha-yohimbine on the other hand is awesome.

Good information. I'm going to schedule an appointment with my doctor and hopefully get this taking care of. I'm crossing my fingers that this is temporary.

Just a quick update.

I went to my doctor and now prescribe to a blood pressure medication. I'm only 26 years old, so I hope this passes through.
