Can a person take amp while on a anti depressant?

My buddy was just put on zoloft and was wondering if he can still take the two bottles of amp he just ordered. I told him I didnt have any idea but I could probally get a good answer here.
 
Iwas wondering the same thing, as I am on celexa. I found a little info at Avant boards that indicated it was o.k. on some of the antidepressants, I have taken 3 caps the last two days and I really love it, good smooth energy and the feeling of wanting to get things done, everyone is different so be careful......

Um, I wouldnt. It may be ok technically but If your on that **** your being treated for something. Even If its ok it might interfere with its effectivness.

Thats a bold statement. I would want some clinical evidence before I said something like that. Since the active in AMP is relatively unknown and the maker wont even give a concrete answer I would not risk it. There are more important things in life than stimulants.
 
AMP, for me, is the most powerful and effective anxiolytic I've ever taken.

Some folks have reported intense anxiety attacks from AMP, so YMMV.

Also, I've not ever taken any prescription anti-depressants or anti-anxiety drugs.
 
I would not use it. As mentioned above, the full contents of AMP have not been revealed. One should assume (even though it is probably unlikely) that there could be some interaction.
 
I did not sleep well last night so I took 3caps at work today, did not feel nearly as good as the last two times i took it, which was three days ago, interesting. The experiment continues........
