Oh come on. Why bounce it off the chest? My belly goes up at least 2 inches higher and has more spring to it

No need to feel ashamed man, when I do slow TUT style stuff (pretty rarely I admit) I get the same sort of hit. Hell, even if I'm not doing TUT style stuff, if I go from doing 5 reps to 10, I take a huge hit. I full range OHP 165 for ~10 with a 2:4 tempo going, but if I do more ballistic lifts I can can crank out 245 for 5 easy... That's a big ego hit :D

Bobo's repopularized the TUT on this board, I think there's a place for it, though y'all go kinda crazy with it.

ok, i feel better now.

Weight: 235 lbs
Waist: 36.75" (yay i didn't gain any back, thanks salmonella  )

Abs are starting to show rather nicely, actually pretty close to looking like i want to look, so i'm happy. Anyhoo, back and tri's today. Once again, the TUT system remains to be very painful to the body and ego. Barbell rows, got 275 for 8. Normally, I was easily hitting 315 for 8 or so. Gotten up to 415 a couple times in my 280lbs days. Did cable rows, 180 for 7. Lat pulldowns, 175 for 8. **** hurts.
Tri's went great, pressdowns 115 for 8. Overhead cable thingies, 130 for 8. One handed dumbbell behind the head thing, 30's for 9, then 8.

Thrashed calves and abs afterwards. Haven't thought to mention this before but I'm basically thrashing calves and abs every workout. Seems to working somewhat.

:rasp: You don't even want to know what my TUT poundages are.

Do you have an approximation of what weight you want to finish at?

hey bro, TUT ain't no joke.

the weight isn't a big issue to me, it's more about how i'm aiming to look after it's all said and done. by guessing though, i figure that'll be around 225lbs, that should be single digits or damn close. then it'll be time to switch this frown upside down and start the clean bulk, which should be around july.

Weight: 235lbs

Today's workout sucked balls. Couldn't get into it at all. Started with ATG squats. Warmups felt fine. On the medium set of 225, I put on some new knee wraps and everything pretty much went to **** from there on out. Knees hurt more with em on, back started hurting something awful. Tried one more set with 285 and called it quits after 2 reps. Felt like I was about to break in half or something. Went to leg press and got 810 for 8 reps, nothing impressive. Bi's felt ok with the TUT thing. Nothing worth reporting. Hopefully, this workout was a fluke and will not be a repeating factor.

I definitely agree. I really don't care what weights I use. It is funny, I'm doing lat pulldowns with like 140 for a 3:2, and a guy starts working at the lat pd machine next to me. He did probably 10-12 reps while I was doing my 8, he sat down after me, and I finished well after him. Whose getting the better workout:hammer: It's me:)

yeah, i know what you mean bro. it's just against the whole mentality that i've been lifting with for so long now that it's hard to adjust mentally. very accustomed to loading massive amounts of weights on the bar and lifting it as many times as possible and TUT has given me a reality check.

Are you a convert?

if you mean if i have converted to TUT, then yes, i have. at least for the time being and probably on my next AAS cycle. i like to keep my options open.

Well, I think you shouldn't totally give up on ballistic lifting. Just be ballistic with correct form :)

I look at TUT stuff as assistance work after my ballistic training, and I tend to go high rep on it (10-20) not to failure. Don't need to do too much imo, just a little, maybe 2 exercises 4-5 sets apiece.

Do some ballistic training man, otherwise I'm gonna get to the point where I can OHP the weight you can flat bench, and I'm gonna laugh at you :whip:

i'm quite sure your weights make mine look pretty stupid anyway, so it won't discourage me too bad.

damn powerlifters. :whip:

When was your last break Beelz?

I can't say no to Ballistic training still, it's in my genes. But I have to say that TUT is also now a part of my training.

last break was a week or so ago, but i had salmonella so it wasn't a real break. as for ballistic training, yeah, it's more fun, but i've been doing it for so long that TUT is a little more interesting for the time being.

Speaking of salmonella...you still eating raw eggs? :D

I'm eating them...I aint that worried...plus, it helped you lose size on that waist, right? I could use a couple inches removed :D hehehee

yup, still eating them. didn't come from eggs anyway, got it from salmon. didn't change that either, still eating that too. oh well, better luck next time salmonella.

He never will, hahaha :D

His arms will go under 19" first ;)

that's a strong possibility that the 19's will leave soon. i'm not sure a 34" waist is possible on my frame. i guess i'll find out soon though. i'm continuing to cut until july rolls around. then, it's go time.

Hehe. I have to get a digital camera soon - if it weren't for all the loose skin that hangs down when I do a most muscular I'd make that my new avatar just to piss glen off :D My love handles are getting REAL small, my lower back has lost the flop it used to have when I was over 300 and the bottom row of abs are pushing out nicely (though they're still only visible in soft light) - I'm carrying less fat than in my at this point avatar for sure. I cracked under 39" when I measured my waist this morning but kwickmynde was telling me that the tape measure should be slack when you read the measurement... I don't pull it that tight but there's no slack that's for sure :D Bis are sitting a little bit above 20.25", all in all really happy with how things are going.

Edit: just for shits and giggles I just got out the measuring tape, chest is sitting at 55", thigh is 32" - getting damn freaky :D

Double edit: Just because I know you care (and it'll probably make you feel better) my calves are only 19.25" now :)

yeah man, i feel great now. i hope you get salmonella and lose like 140lbs. :whip:

I'm sure you can get 34ish...but, you'd just be really lean. If you're in the 36's now, I'm sure you can get 34ish.

July...by then I'll probably have been ON my first cycle for a month :D heheheheheeh muahahahahaha

exnihilo said:
.......kwickmynde was telling me that the tape measure should be slack when you read the measurement.......
I'm not sure that's how everyone else measures, but that's how I started b/c I noticed that the "unconcious" pull I made took at 1/2" off of my waist size. When I just "lay" it on top of my waist, I was bumbed :( Hell, I was damn near 39" and over 39" on the handles. About a week into my timed carb diet, I'm down into the high 37's with the tape set loosly around my waist at mid-abdomen and about 38 at the handes / naval area. I used to be in the low 30's....33ish or so....I dunno WTF happened. I'm just glad I can hide it well :D My shoulders are broad enough to cut me some slack in that area.

My love handles inflate FAST :( They're just starting to dissapear into my sides (my profile is looking fairly lean too). I probably need to lose about 15lbs before my waist completes the transformation from ") (" to "\ /" (though they're much less noticable now than in my avatar). I tend to carry a lot of fat in the side and lower chest too, oh well hopefully that'll go away soon too.

You store fat much like me...sucks, eh?

Your wasit looks pretty good. If you didn't have those genetically powerlifter hips, it would look very small in proportion to your body

My love handles merge in with my hips like a girl's would. It's fucking IRRITATING :frustrate

I'm gonna try and keep the diet dialed in through pct, but just bump the cals a little, and lower the volume of my workouts, and hopefully I'll get down to 275ish around the time of my next cycle. I'm going to be a LOT more careful about how I eat next time on the dbol/drol (probably dbol) as most of the fat I put on during a cycle is in that first 5 weeks, then the tren just rips it off of me once I switch over.

My cousin is built almost exactly like you, now that I look harder....well, atleast from the hips up...and his shoulders are a little more narrow. Below the hips he has a big j-lo ass and quads like a rhino. That mofo can move some freggin' weight. He's about 21, been lifting for maybe 5yrs or so...maybe 6...natural aside from PH's that he had no clue about and his bench made its way much past 400, his dead was 600 a while back (even though he hardly ever DL's) and he doesn't even squat and can load up 405 and just start repping it out like it's all cool. That bastard :D

Dude, my hip measurements are stupid huge (48" the only other measurement besides my waist I want to go down). I have jlo ass like a mofo :( It's good for sports though...

Like I said, I really am black from the waist down ;)

Edit: ****, I sound like a bitch. I can tell my testosterone levels are falling off fast, and my estrogen is through the roof

You seem like a much larger version of my cuz :D

Weight: 234 lbs

Chest/shoulders today. Went pretty good, I was happy leaving the gym afterwards. Growing accustomed to the TUT thingy and not really caring about the amount of weight anymore. Anyhoo, it was a national old guys convention on the flat benches today so I had to vary it up a little. Every exercise for chest today was new to TUT so it felt different but good. I went to incline bench and got 225 for 6, last set. Flat dumbbells afterwards, 85's for 6, last set. Chest was damn near dead at this point, finished up with pec deck. Shoulders were pretty much dead as well but I struggled the machine military press 120 for 6 reps. Followed by lat raises, 30lbs for 12, 2 sets.

Other news.....
Got a chance to chuckle at an exnihilo wannabe today as well. Guy was bouncing 315lbs off his chest on incline like it was going out of style. I'm not talking a little bounce, I'm talking damn near free fall of the weight downwards, followed by a grunt and some freaky ass contortionist positions to get the weight back up. Guy stood up afterwards like he had just whooped superman's ass and strutted over to the water fountain. Couldn't help but laugh.

Well, I'd love to talk trash on that guy....but, I still can't even bounce 315 off of my chest for reps...probably not even for one rep....although, maybe I could  Dunno....Eh, I think I probably could get it for 1.

Anway, 234...you're getting skinny bro :) hahah. You gettin' veins in those abs, yet? :p

Hehe, you should see me do my speed bench man. I use íy belly to help with reversal strength and then I arch the hell out of my back into the lift to get even more leverage out of my belly :D Whatever it takes to get the equivalent of 405lbs repped 3 times in just over 2 seconds :)

That's some mean reversal speed there ex...it took me a second or two longer to rep 155 on my DE bench day. Of course that was a while ago because school work isn't letting me get to the gym as much as I like these days, but hopefully the summer will open up for me.

Back to the topic at hand, those are some sick results beelze, looks like everything you're taking is complementing your diet and workouts really well.

Were sick results, now I'm just pissed.

Weight: 233.5 (down 1.5lbs since last week)
Waist: 37" (up 1/4" since last week)

what kinda **** is that? lose weight but waist increases, that's horseshit. diet has been superclean to the 10th power. frustrating to say the least but hopefully it was just some water or something. either way, i'm still pissed.

anyhoo, regardless of the anomoly, i'm feeling and looking much bigger than before. kinda feels like i'm filling out or something. strength is starting to go back up again as well. great workout today, once again all TUT for back/tri's.
barbell rows - 285 for 8
hammer back thingy - 420 for 8
lat pulldowns - 175 for 8
overhead rope extensions - 175 for 8
tricep pressdown - 105 for 8
one handed dumbbell behind the head thingy - 30's for 10

left the gym pretty happy despite the measuring tape :smite:

out of curiousity, i'm taking some measurements tommorrow to see how the other ones are coming along. good or bad, i'll post em up. i fear the calves. :frustrate

Keep up the good work man. The way you are eating, nothing bad is gonna happen to you :) If your waist is up, your body is just returning to homeostasis - ignore the scale, ignore the tape, just go by how you look and feel (but then you probably already knew that :D )

Don't fear the calves...rumor is that bobo, the philanthropist he is, had decided to put off the secure chat, and instead contribute all proceeds to the Beelzebub calves fund....:D <or maybe not?>

Haha. People actually pay attention to that birthday thing, crazy :D Don't worry man, when finals are over I'll go back to heckling you with vigor...

Of course, if you were to post shaved posedown pics, I might be willing to make an early return, albiet a brief one ;) I'm the fair sort though, I just got some pictures from a meet I did when I was ~312 and my waist was probably over 42" (especially after those vegas buffets, ) I'll post them up when I take a new pic for my avatar within the next week or so (It'll be kinda neat to see the contrast in the two sets of pics anyhow).

Beezelbub- Found this log today-great log so far. Have you noticed any improvement with the "tweak" in your shoulder or other general healing of previous injuries from the Cissus? Also you mentioned that the the IGF-1 (MR's) will be 50mcg's ed. What is the MR's?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

How important do you think the IGF-1 is helping you with the progess? The reason why I ask is because I was thinking about jumping on some for a little while. In my third week of PCT and need something to kick me in the ass.

Steve777,

MR = Muscle-Research They are a sponsor on the boards.

haven't noticed any more pain in my chest after about week 1. to tell the truth, i hadn't really paid attention to it but now that i look back, the problem appears to be gone. hasn't bother me in weeks. as for IGF, hard to say, i'm measuring later tonight so........

Given the fact that he's taking IGF-1 I think it would be dubious to attribute the effects to cissus...

just my .02

Weight: 237 lbs

Not too surprised at the sudden weight gain. Started taking CEE on Saturday. Never tried it, thought it would be interesting. Leg's/bi's yesterday. Replaced squats with deadlifts for the hell of it, might stick with those for a while. It felt like a much better workout as I was able to go all out on leg press and got a much better feeling from the workout overall. Hadn't done deadlifts in a while, got 405 for 3 with no straps or belt. Leg press, 900lbs for 6 reps with a self-spot on #6. Bi's are about the same, up a couple reps or so. Got a couple days worth of this experiment left. Started up lean extreme/glucophase up as well and picked up cardio again since before the salmonella attack. Getting a free cycle of blue rhino in pretty soon, heard good things so far about it. Hell, it was free from controlled labs, can't complain.

And as promised, the other measurements, as pathetic as I had expected:
Arms 18.75"
Chest 49"
Calves 16.25"

Doesn't bother me though, strength is pretty good, especially in comparison to when I was 280lbs. I remember last time I weighed 235lbs, I had 15" calves with 17.75" arms.

You are one well connected individual!

Will you stop the IGF-1 or continue on with it? Your measurements are not pathetic at all man. I would kill for those guns! Lifts are looking great too.
