Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. am i realy the only one who cant stand it

Good, because the "concept" of Fable games turns my crank; however, Peter LaCroix (?) has executed it so poorly!!

Apparently, there will be the option of producing children with other online players.... that's certainly a "unique" concept

Most peoples lives suck in todays world. And many are obese or have other issues, games like Fable give them a "break" from reality in Every way. You want weird games, look up some of Japans twisted crap (Google "Virtual Girl" or something like that I think I found out is insane) They have interactive sex for games.

Take Mass Effect 2, Honestly after beating that Game i was kinda depressed. My life sucks compared to a space Lt. Saving mankind from the universe while romancing hot aliens...Curse Ohio and our time period :sgrin: Same with the Modern Warefare 2 campaign. I was thinking "Crap, why cant my life have me whizzing around on snowmobiles shooting Shi* up?" lol

If anyone wants to get a game going on COD MW2 on PS3, my gamertag is: Trauma79

I just picked up BBC2 today. I liked the first one, and the battlefield series is awesome. I've been hooked on battlefield 1943 on the PS3.

Talk about an ignorant statement. Wow...

Really? You must have never played an FPS on a computer... As an owner of an Xbox, PS3, and computer and having played FPS' on all of them, I am speaking from experience when I say the gamers on a computer are on another level.

But hey, If you can't master a mouse and keyboard, then stick with your controllers. Now I'm not saying the gamers on consoles are garbage, but I'm saying you just can't control crosshairs and movement with a controller like you can with a mouse and keyboard. When I played counter-strike I had my mouse sensitivity set on 35 (default being 3). I can move a centimeter left or right, face the other way, and get a headshot. That's just how a mouse and keyboard work, props if you can do that with a joystick.

My personal best is 44-10 on team deathmatch, and that was on a console. Far better than anything I've done on the computer on MWF. So, I'm not bashing console gamers at all...

P.S. I'll add you on the PS.

Talk about an ignorant statement. Wow...

No its true.

A PC FPS gamer will ultimately out peform a console gamer if they are in teh same server, one using a PS#/360 and one useing a PC.

It has been proven.

ShadowRun which came out on the 360(PS3 maybe as well?) had it set up soe systems and PC ran on same servers. You could tell who was using a PC, faster aiming times, quicker manuvers and more fluid maneuvers.

A keyboard and mouse ALWAYS trump a controller. My ability to turn around and look behind me is reliant on my sensitivity on a controller, on the PC I can whip instantly 360 and still aim to an exact point. And the keyboard is just plain and simple effective.

1 on 1 an equally skilled gamer will outperform console gamers by a long shot. PC gaming is simply...better. Sadly I dont have a good PC wit hwhich to play games :(

AS well as having the benefit of the scan rate of a PC monitor, and a decent graphics card can give them a visual edge (PS3 you see they guy far off as a dot, barely notice, on PC you recognize him as a thin with arms and legs thats moving).

Its really hands down, always has been. That and PC is the ONLY way to play an RTS game.

as a testament to chubbinmuffin him and i have played the ORIGINAL CounterStrike since it was just an add-on to half-life and version number was 1.4/1.5 all the way up to the latest CS:S versions. and we have been offered to join several CAL tournament teams.

and playing mw2 since the day it released on comp, ps3, and xbox all we have prestiged in.. and you can obviously tell the skill levels between both. like others have stated before the reaction time/fluidity/etc. not knocking the consoles because im currently sitting with a 62+ win streak on the ps3.

but if you were to pit someone on a console vs. a computer both on their respective equipment. on a secure cheat free server. the computer player will come out on top 99 times out of 100.

again not knocking either respective way to play.

Yes, and if you put 99% of Powerlifters into an IFBB contest the IFBB pros will dominate them in conditioning, symmetry, etc. You three are making quite the odd comparison, as it truly is apples to oranges.

The mechanics of using your entire arm v., your thumbs necessitates that the former is going to be faster, but comparing the two skill sets used therein is ridiculous. To say, "X gamer" is better than "Y gamer," they would not be on the same server, but different equipment: they would need to be on the same game, same server, same equipment, and the PC gamer would need to emerge as superior in each instance.

Slight hint: they do not. And as I said, my friend is a professional gamer and can attest to that, given he has played in a massive amount of team tournaments where 5 games are chosen, with 4 usually being console and the other PC, and the PC-only gamers (i.e., CS) rarely dominate in the console FPS' against native console gamers.

In what other instances in life do you take two variables which are completely distinct from one another and attempt to compare them? The fact is, in order to say PC gamers "own" every time against console gamers, they would need to be playing the same game, on the same console, etc. If not, it is like saying, "Hey, Buggati Veyron drivers are waaaaaaay superior drivers because they "own" Civic drivers every time."

You are attempting to compare skill sets, but are really comparing equipment. Confucius say: he who makes bad comparison, no get his bread, playa.

I was comparing equipment. I stated that there is nothing like a mouse and keyboard when it comes to FPS'. That said, if you pit a pro gamer on PC and a pro gamer on console, the PC gamer would take the game the majority of the time BECAUSE a mouse/keyboard is better than a controller.

BTW, I've seen civics run 9's. Also, I used to drive a 350z that had the 3rd and 4th gear synchros shot, yet I still ate up everything that wanted to race. Great skill, bad equipment. I never said console gamers were garbage because of their "bad equipment".

All three of you are not seeing the big picture here. Mullet nailed it in one sentence:

You are attempting to compare skill sets, but are really comparing equipment. Confucius say: he who makes bad comparison, no get his bread, playa.

Think about it for a minute guys: You're clearly comparing different equipment and setups, not the actual individual skill sets of a given gamer (e.g. hand-eye coordination, reaction time, etc). Only when each individual has the exact same setup and experience level with that equipment would you be able to truly analyze the evinced skill sets of each individual gamer.

Comparing a native comp gamer vs. a native console gamer in the same game with their respective setups proves absolutely nothing in terms of overall individual skill. The only thing that is demonstrated is the superior ability of the equipment being used; a gaming computer being the clear dynamic winner.

In all honesty fellas, your argument here as stated is futile.

I played all of the rainbow 6 series since the 90s all of the battlefield since it came out non stop...but I can't stop playing modern warfare 2 for my Xbox. Awesome game

All right Trauma, you have it. I agree, regardless of skill, the individual player is limited by his equipment. Have one person in a 4 cylinder with 100 horses and another in a 500 horse V8... regardless of skill level, though both may be professional drivers, the V8 will trump (in a straight line).

I'll take one of these:

On another note: Does anyone here play BF 1943 on the PS3?

ew.

and

i want the game played the demo and its just like the old BF1942 for comp.

No its not but the first time i played it on Wake Island and I was sniping from a sandbag bunker, and I see a tank I was like "hahah, I am safe!"....then it rolls THROUGH the wall, and looks at me...

Move class "HOLY SHI-BOOM"

But I was impressed lol. Still not as good as BF1942 though.

I'm not a fan of domestic cars, but if i had to choose I would get a new Camaro. I'll take a 350z boosted at 20psi :)

Never got in to the Battlefield series, but I never gave any a chance. Bad company 2 does look legit though.

Im a riot shielder... Can't get enough of that "weapon". I got a seven kill streak last night just running around bashing people.

They are amazing fun. I like to use C4 when I use the shield. Place it in front of you and then back into a corner. Inevitably, people will run at you to stick you with semtex....boom.

Or I just roll with the RPD with silencer and grip. I love never having to reload.

I am the guy who knifes the riot shielder through the front ;) I know the deadzone son, I love putting em down and getting called a cheater. Hatemail is awesome.

Also I use a silenced Uzi, or an Acog scope on a WA2000, Using the .44 as my main side arm, or a Tac Knife M9.

Then again, I havent touched MW2 really in 3 months. It's worthless.

M16 with FMJ/red dot and M9 with FMJ is how I roll. I don't have much a life outside the house, so games are my savior.

M16 is how I got my first Nuke. With red dot :) But not using the dual perk set up. I got my very last kill for it, jumping off the building inunderpass, firing my LAST 3 round burst of any ammo I had from it, and scored the kill. I screamed like a little girl :sgrin: Then told my buddy to watch and enjoy.
