Hi everyone, im 16 turning 17 in november, i have been working out for 3 years now, and not been really seeing any results. ive been eating more than i should, taking my whey after i workout, and been on the nitric oxide plasma jet. are their any other supplements, that you would recomend that are safe? i was going to try a pro hormone, but i read all the negitive side effects, and how that could affect me down the road, and i dont want to choose that path.

Bro, your young, stay away from the hormones until you are at least 21 imo. If you have not made any gains in three years? then you are doing something wrong, routine, diet, effort(ie intensity) etc. In order to give you some advice, there needs to be more info, like what is your diet( calories, carbs, fat, protien) along with what sources those calories are coming from. be honest with what you are actually consuming, and we can go from there.

yes, i would recommend FOOD.
Track your intake at fitday.com
since you're not gaining, you're not eating enough. figure out what you're actually consuming then UP the calories 10%, wait a week, see how it goes. Keep upping until you gain. Simple.

right now ive been trying to eat alot, so for my morning breakfast i usually have 2 eggs, and about 3/4lb of plain pasta. for lunch i usually either have a chicken breast sandwich with lettuce. and for Dinner i usually have either steak, or chicken depending on the night. i allways take my creatine and whey, creatine before i workout and after, and whey allways after. and the plasma jet once other day, im on my first week on the plasma jet, and i think im seeign some results. and what i ment by not gaining weight in 3 years, i should of worded it that im not getting bigger. ive been 121 for 3 years, now i am starting to break that because im 133. do you guys reccomend any products, i could try? any great whey proteins?

u def. gotta eat mroe than that bro. first of all thats only 3 meals, and very small meals at that. U shoudl be eating AT LEAST 5-6 times a day and more than that each time.....

my workout usually consists of, 4 sets of barbell curls 10 reps 50lbs, bench press, 3 sets 10 reps 135, dips 4 sets of 10, 2 sets of 12 pullups. theirs more but usually this is what i do every tuesday and thursday. can you workout like this everyday?

look into a weight gainer,to take after your meals and before bed and keep going hard when working out, but yeah you gotta eat,eat and eat. it looks like your not eating enough, and you gotta increase your water intake big time since your taking creatine and plasma jet, nothing less than a gallon a day, cause just off the plasma alone you need to drink nothin less than 96 qts. per serving. but imo you shouldn't even be taking the plasma jet just yet, your mad young homie, but eat alot more drink mad water keep going hard during your workouts and get rest

dude
i eat 4 eggs with a slab of butter and a cup of cheese w/ whole milk for a SNACK in between full meals.
plain pasta? you need calories. sounds like a cutting diet. get some fats/oils, natty PB, nuts, cheese, and steak in there. and "great" or not, whey wont make you gain weight, CALORIES will. worship the alter of calories. fitday.com, track your intake. doubt you're over 2k.

completely inadequate. read rippetoe's starting strength and research real programs here then design something better.

you may also want to lower your reps and do workouts such as a 5X5 workout. you need to build you workout around what your goal is, in this case gaining mass

I weighed about what you do when I was 16 and I know it is difficult to pack on the pounds but trust me you haven't even tried. Like it was said before MORE food and MORE meals, your mom should be complaining about the fridge always being empty. Weight gainers after meals are a great way for extra cals but don't rely on them or use them for meals, real food is ALWAYS better.

For your workout try low reps, high weight (5X5 is good). Stick with compound lifts like squats, dead lifts, bench press... you can find workouts on here or on bb.com just search for bulking workouts.

Get as much sleep as possible and if you aren't sleeping you better be eating. The more you eat the hungrier you get and the mass will come on no prob. The next few years are a great time for you to be lifting, test is high as it will ever be and your metabolism will keep the fat away- GO GET EM!

so should i up the weights to max failure, and reduce number of reps?

at your age i would not go to failure, if you injure yourself you will digress when all you really need to do is get into a routine. go heavy but not failure and eat everything healthy as long as its not fast food. you can have cheat days so you dont get sick of eating healthy food, but stick to good fats, complex carbs and rich proteins. what youre on is perfect for losing weight, but building is 80 percent diet
