Bulk Coleus Forskolii 20%

Wondering how to effectively dose this, without overdoing it. The canister reads 1/4tsp = 650mg, which would equate down to 130mg Forskolin. From what I read, the effective dose is in between 50-150mg daily, with the gastro-distress considered.

Is there something I'm missing, or is it just that I would really need an accurate way of dosing? Currently I was planning on going with a makeshift 1/16 tsp serving (half of a 1/8 tsp, haha), which yields ~33mg Forskolin. I would dose that 3-4 times a day to start...

Bump, as I would like to know myself. How can you accurately dose bulk forskolin without a scale.

The key is to cap it, that way you multiple your desired dose by 50. I just did two rounds last night.

I am dosing at 80mg of actives/day, which is 400mg of 20% powder. I have divided it into two doses, so 200mg/cap * 50 caps = 10g of Coleus. I also threw in some others to fill up the cap. I would recommend crushing the coleus if it has any clumps, because clumps can lead to having too much in one capsule. Also remember to calculate your filler correctly. To mix it, I would recommend a small circular ziploc container , seal it and swirl it around VERY well.

Personally I use a 300mg measuring tool included in Primaforce Phenibut. Obviously densities will vary but the consistency is close enough that the density should not make a large difference in such a small volume.

I just fill it 2/3 or 3/4 of the way and take it 3 times a day for a total of 120-150 a day of actives average...

Gastric distress is very individual... I have done as high as approx 180mg actives a day with little or no problems.

Anybody thought about adding Forskolli to an oral solution. Is it even soluble in water? Just trying to figure out a way to dose it correctly without having a scale.
