breezy's training, supplementation, and food log

That is cool though man. Going to be interesting to see the changes in the growing season with a coach on your side.

Yup, pretty excited. I just got my starting plans a couple hours ago. Training 4 days per week for now...high volume and no intensity techniques.

Whats the scale at?

Do they know how much they have to feed you though? Ha

Lol I just mentioned that I require more food than most people my size. There will probably be an adjustment to meal plans soon ha.

This morning's pre-workout meal:
-Cream of Rice
-PEScience Select (Gourmet Vanilla)
-Natural PB
-Polaner's All Fruit (strawberry)

This will be my pre meal going forward, minus the jam. Nothing new, but something I never get tired of.

Hey Breezy,

FYI I'm still utilizing your training plans that you posted a month or so back...they're still kicking my ass. I'm finding them very effective.

Thanks again

Awesome. No problem Sam, it's great to hear that you're finding them beneficial. I'll try to post some more sometime soon.

"I need your help!

Ok since everybody fits into a diet "camp"...flexible dieting, IIFYM, Clean Eating, Keto, etc....I don't know what camp I am in.

I feel so lost.

Please tell me where I fit so I too can be part of a group.

Here is what I do - so you can help decide:
1) I eat mostly (90%) "clean food" such as chicken, oats, etc.

2) I do rotate food sources if I get bored, for example I might switch out ezekial toast for oats, or turkey for chicken. I just keep macros similar.

3) I do have cheat meals on the weekend, which could be like a burger and fries. I do not count macros on this. Too much work.

4) I do have refeeds during the week if deemed necessary which are high carb meals with low fat, such as lots of rice chex as a carb source. This can be simple carbs as you see.

5) I season my food and eat nothing bland.

6) I lessen carbs to speed up loss of bodyfat as my primary weapon for fat loss. but never raise my fat levels to more than 30-35% of the calories in my diet.

7) I use nutrient timing to help with recovery, and also my food bars preworkout.

8) I will if in dire need of getting ultra shredded lower calories to very low points, methodically, to sometimes less than 2000 kcals.

9) I sneak in a few donuts on Sunday with my kids.

10) I put either ketchup or grape jelly on my eggs.

Please help, I am lost. So what group am I in :)"

I have no clue about the diet camp but you are now officially in my crazy person camp for putting grape jelly on eggs. :D

Read that earlier on FB ^

Ha it's a quote from John Meadows. My diet is very similar though.

Yup. It's basically the "what most bodybuilders have been doing for many years before people decided they had to label everything diet".

Not to de-rail thread, anyone here have a Sprint phone they want to part ways with?

So which one of you is going to try grape jelly on eggs and report back?!

It's been done and it's pretty good. My father used to always have jelly with his eggs ha.

It's been what was probably the busiest week of my life, between working multiple jobs and interviewing for new positions (12). Thankfully, it all ended very well, and I should be back to posting more frequently soon.

Glad to hear it went well. It'll be nice to have you back!

12 interviews? Dress clothes game must be on point!

I decided that I'd apply for some jobs last week, but didn't expect to hear back about all of them ha. I have a few that I need to cancel now as well. Dress clothes have been on point from working in finance for 5 years, but I won't be needing it for my new job...gym pants, a polo, and sneakers.

Away Facing Incline Neutral Grip Pulldowns: These are a pulldown variation that I add into my back training occasionally. The contraction that I get from this angle is outstanding. Raise your chest/arch your back slightly, drive your elbows down, and flex as hard as you can at the bottom of the movement.

Dual Rope Pushdowns/Kickbacks: Using 2 rope attachments allows you to truly get a full extension and range of motion.

Training frequency is down, but volume is up. This will continue over the next 2 weeks, as calories climb from where they were during prep. 8 sets of laterals were a part of today chest and shoulder session.

Leg Press/Bulgarian Split Squat Superset: This combo might leave you on the ground after a couple rounds. Try to maintain constant tension on both exercises, and alternate which leg you start the splits squats with on each set.

Here's this morning's progress pics. I'm up about 15lbs from the show. I've been training 4 days per week, doing zero cardio, and adding calories weekly. I'll continue training 4 days per week until Thursday, when I'm scheduled to have surgery on my giant umbilical hernia. I was able to book the operation at a great time, as the plan was to take 2 weeks off from the gym after this coming week.

Looking great man. Hope the surgery goes well too!

Good luck on the surgery, monster.

Good luck on the surgery. Tell them to hook up AminoIV to your actual IV so you can be the most hardcore PES rep of all time and bring great glory to your company.
