breezy's training, supplementation, and food log

I too am very interested in the actual recipe.

That sounds kick ass.

And, I agree. We'll get it... and I think soon.

You got it.

I haven't had a bad combo yet.

That Chara shot . I'm gonna have to go straight to the gym after the game lol.

Thanks Breezy. I appreciate that. That is my kind of low carb meal

No problem Jiigzz. Mine too...I used to have gf waffles and pancakes with it.

Happy 2 be here seeing such mastery in the kitchen man!

I know.. and then Lucic just missing the rebound.. i thought that was it Breezy... At least we have a minute on the powerplay to start the next period.

Yeah, I really hope they take advantage of it. I want to go to bed...happy.

I got a couple pics of most of the massive DB rack.

Good god almighty.

Haha there's never a wait to use anything.

Bruins in 6. So we can lose another.. just not Saturday.

Yeah, Saturday is a huge game.

Thanks man. That is impressive as hell.

No problem. The amount of everything else is equally, if not more impressive. The opposite wall is lined with squat racks/cages and in between is at least 20 Olympic benches. That's just one section too.

They must carry a huge membership base. But then with all that equipment, and the size of the facility I am sure you have lots of space.

Yeah, it never seems crowded at all. There have been many times where I was one of only a few people using that part of the gym. There's a room with ~100 machines and another 2 with just as much cardio equipment where the majority of the morning crowd hang out. I've never been at night, but there are a lot of "older" people and boxers when I workout.

-2 sec flex on pullaparts

Now I am not only super jelly of your strength but of your gym as well. Seems pretty epic to me.

You're lifting some serious weight man. It's pretty sweet. There's too much of every piece of equipment/machine that I could want. I'll try to take a few more pictures sometime. The bench, squat rack, leg press, and HS machine sections are impressive looking.

It looks like the Costco of gyms. I may or may not be envious, as jealousy is not my color.

Haha pretty much. It's big enough to basically be broken down into 5 different types of gyms.

Eggzone

Ingredients:

5 omega eggs
1 spicy jalapeno chicken sausage
2 strips uncured peppered turkey bacon
1/2 cup mozzarella
1.5 tbsp Kerrygold butter
Trader Joes "21 Seasoning Salute"

Instructions:

-Cook the meat and cut/break into pieces.

-Beat the eggs/spices in a bowl.

Invalid Link Removed

-Melt the butter in a frying pan over med/high heat and coat the pan. I let it got hot enough that the eggs "flash" cook when poured in the pan.

Invalid Link Removed

-Pour eggs in pan and adjust to low heat.

-Add meat and cheese.

Invalid Link Removed

-I run a spatula around the edges to make sure that it didn't stick to the pan (the instant cooking of eggs prevents sticking). Sometimes I'll put a cover over the pan for 1-2 minutes to help cook the inside when using 4+ eggs. I do this after after adding the meat/cheese or after the next step.

-Flip over one half. This doesn't work completely when using as much egg, meat, and cheese as I did, but that's ok.

Invalid Link Removed

-Using a spatula and your free hand (hold the bottom/folded half with hand) flip the whole thing over. The other side will seal up nicely and should be fully cooked in a couple minutes.

-Flip on to a plate and enjoy.

*It's a lot easier to make if using 3 or 4 eggs in this pan. I can usually fold it completely in half and cook it fully without browning the outside at all.

Hey the last time you made ice cream .. you did 2 scoops powder, 2 pb cups, and how much almond milk? (sorry 102 pages is allot of searching lol)

Awesome Breezy, you are the man!

No problem wasme! I'll try to put some more recipes/meals together soon.

Straight deuces...2 cups. You could use less. I just like to make at least 2 cups worth. I'd taste the mix with 1.5 cups before adding more. Different powders have more/less flavor in the same amount of liquid.

Thanks bro. (two both statements)

Extremely jealous of your gym, and your tastebuds if that omelette is a regular meal if yours. Have some new additions to this weeks grocery list now. Think I will try it out with beef and add banana peppers plus my spice blend. Addicted to spicy food

I love eggs :)

They're pretty good. :)

Thanks bro. (two both statements)

Anytime man.

Great recipe man! I'll definitely try it out. Where can you get omega eggs? Trader Joe's?

Thanks dude. I got them at TJ, but am pretty sure most grocery stores have them now (they all do around here).

Yeah, I have an omelette 6 days a week and the other day I've been having pancakes, ice cream/gelato, and pop tarts instead lol. I've done ground beef, bacon, and banana peppers, it's amazing. Spicy food is my favorite as well.

Dammit I meant to rep you for that but hit thanks, so i'll rep you for something else :D

Thanks for that breezy, i'm gna make that one right now :D

Thanks man.

I don't like bicep exercises very much, but they're one of my favorites. I get positioned pretty high on the bench (so my arms aren't supported in any way) smash the dumbbells together, and squeeze hard at the top. I think you'll enjoy them.

Actually, if you ever get a chance can you video tape this... Everytime I do a cable crunch I feel it in my back, not my stomach.

Sure. Are you doing them standing?

Is that the gym of heaven? Lol

The picture with all the dumbbells

Haha it's pretty awesome.

I have tried kneeling, sitting, standing ... not much luck with it.

Man look at all that equipment.

Hmm. I'lll try to get a video soon.

That's the majority of the benches in that area.

6/15/13

I felt great in the gym this morning. My legs had just fully recovered from last week's session and were ready to go. The same routine wasn't as much of a struggle (still brutal though), and I was able to add weight with several exercises.

Leg Curls
60x20
80x20
100x12
120x10
140x8
160x6

-strict form

Stiff-Legged Deadlift
135x10
225x10
275x10
315x10
405x6
405x6

-explosive/hard flex of hams and glutes at the top

-Form was improved at 405 this week (had someone watch). I tried to record my sets, but had a big window in front of me and the sun blacked out the picture.

Leg Press / Teardrop Leg Extension
270x10
450x8
540x25 / 130x15
630x15 / 140x15
720x12 / 140x15
810x10 / 150x15

-Leg Press: close stance with feet a little higher on platform.

Teardrop Extensions Example:

Leg Press / Partial Leg Extensions
630x10 / 70x15
630x10 / 70x15
630x10 / 70x15
630x10 / 60x15

-Leg Press: wide stance with toes pointed out (frog style)/knees point out while lowering platform. 1 sec pause at the bottom (not as deep as close stance) before exploding to the top.

-Leg Extensions: Working the top half of the movement. Flex hard at the top for 2 sec before lowering halfway.

DB Walking Lunges
40x10
40x10
45x10

-reps per leg

Great work as always brother! Those partials look intense

Thanks man. The teardrop extensions after the narrow stance/high foot placement leg press (which smokes teardrop as well) were ridiculous.
