This morning's leg session was intense and I literally couldn't walk when finished. Some soreness is already beginning to set in and it should be fun trying to move tomorrow.

-The intensity techniques have been paying off. Strength has improved while my form remains very strict.

-I worked the top half of the movement after focusing on the stretch using 25lb plates in weeks prior.

-explosive/hard flex of hams and glutes at the top

-goal was to further exhaust hamstrings before working quads

It's not the best angle, but I wasn't very happy with my form or explosiveness on a lot of these. I might keep the weight lower next week and concentrate more on explosiveness. My plan was to lower the weight to just below my knees, which I went past most of the time.

-Leg Press: close stance with feet a little higher on platform. This approach smoked my VMO/teardrop

-Leg Extensions: Partials out of bottom. I came up about halfway and lowered to just before the weight bottomed out (constant tension/pumping motion).

-Leg Press: wide stance with toes pointed out (frog style)/knees point out while lowering platform. 1 sec pause at the bottom (not as deep as close stance) before exploding to the top.

-Leg Extensions: working the top half of the movement. Flex hard at the top for 1 sec before lowering halfway.

-The leg press/extensions supersets were absolutely ridiculous. I had a 10yd walk between each machine and just hoped to make it there before collapsing or blacking out.

Haha crazy huh? Squats will make a big comeback in a couple weeks (same routine next week).

Very impressive Breezy. That cardio did you right. I think all the work from m-dog training also gave you a lot of detail in your muscles.

Agree with Dan about shoulders and traps.

Mr modest. I would walk around shirtless all day if I was in your condition.

I have a line on some at a great price up here in Canada and my current stuff isn't making the best tasting ice cream. (Flavour available are chocolate, vanilla, pb choc, and cookies/cream)

Thanks fumoney. I think the cardio has helped, but I haven't done any in a couple weeks (stopped not long after that picture). I've continued to make progress and plan on adding it back for tail end of my cut. I'll probably start next week sometime.

Yeah, I can see some improvement as well. Hitting shoulders twice a week (heavy/pump) has helped picked up the pace.

Haha as long as I'm challenging myself and making progress I'm happy. Aesthetics are great, but they've never been the biggest motivating factor for me.

That is definitely a very obvious change. You look way fuller while appearing way leaner. Amazing work as always breezy!

Good choice. That's the combo I used when I first added pb cups as well. Should be exciting!

Legs were actually 2 days ago and it feels like they're still getting worse. I knew that the 2 rounds of different stance leg press and leg extension partials were going to cause problems.

Yeah, multiple sets up to 100 and one up to 150 or 160. The DB rack is 300ft long.

I think I got unsubscribed again on mistake. Caught up though and still killing it in here. Your last leg session looked brutal, and whenever I do legs, the DOMS get worse as the days go on. Sucks haha.

You Gotta be careful with those DBs

Just cause you have it doesn't mean you should lift it.

My gym has a handle attachment to make your own DB.. Needless to say I was too confident, tore an ab working up to 170 lb


TLDR; I'm a jackass, don't be like me

No problem brotha. Thanks, it was intense. Any DOMS that I get is usually minimal, but this is up there with the worst I've ever had. It feels like I'm 14 again lol.

Yeah I was doing DB dead stop rows. The 150 was a tough set of eight, and I clearly used too much English to get the 170 going and I felt a quick tweak/ flip. I tore it.
