BPS: What are you made of?

I am. I did 80% 2x yesterday but I'm gonna take it easy and only do a couple accessory exercises today. I need to catch up on my damn bench but my elbows been hurting.

I've been going eod but the mass gain of the past few days has me with slight love handles and that's no bueno.

If you are going to do cardio do it at the end of the workout.
 
Sweet. I've been wanting to try bps products for a while now. Really didn't think the 44 would hold up. Thanks for pushing me guys
 
Ok guys, first I want to thank all of you who have been participating , and those who may just be joining in the fun. We had an idea for this week, but in all honesty, you guys are making these challenges look too easy, so were going to step it up a bit. Ive heard some people complain in anticipation of this weeks challenge, and Ive decided to follow with that. As Alpha and I have said, were out to support you, and to make you better, so weaknesses are should now be a focal point. Week 3 will be a race, and a 2 part race at that.
Step 1- DEADLIFTS! 135lbs for a total of 50, and because we know thatll be easier for some, when you are done, I need you to immediately follow that up with 10 GOOD pull-ups!!!! I dont care of you need to take a break and let go of the bar, I want 10!! Whoever can do it all in the fastest time, will be week 3s winner! As it was with the squats, Alpha and I will be the only judges on form and what reps count!! So...GET SOME!!
Sounds interesting, but I don't know if my lower back would agree. It held up well for the squats, but I'm not sure I want to chance it with the deadlifts. Maybe I'll give it an easy go, not really pushing the tempo to see how my lower back handles it, and then go from there. I'd prefer 50 pull ups and 10 deadlifts though, haha.

I can't really do pull-ups. I'll be lucky to get 10. Probably have to do 5 sets of two.

But I really have no idea if my lower back will let me finish this challenge. I don't really deadlift since I tore a ligament in my lower back in wrestling practice in school. I still do slow and controlled RDLs with 135-185, occasionally up to 225, so normal DLs with 135 may be ok.

You should be alright with the 135 dl. Its not much weight.

Get a TENs unit throw it on the night before and first thing in the morning hit 50 and 10 in under 5 minutes lol I can see it happening ! Set the standard for this challenge haha

Deads are touch and go? Overhand grip (pull ups), not underhand (chin ups), right? Full extension at the bottom of all pull-ups? No Crossfit kipping pull-ups or whatever they're called?

As far as I am concerned,and do to 50 reps, as Long as the deadlifts Touch the floor I will count it. However, fully locked out at the top of each rep in order to count. And yes, pull-ups are overhand grip, Straight down and straight up
 
Also, if we have to set up the phone/camera ourselves (set it down and start recording) before starting challenge, it'll be counted from the start of the first rep? I could always just trim the video upload I guess.

Whatever you have to do. If you have an iPhone, it actually has a delayed start time on picture and video
 
Points if the camera is set up behind you at an angle looking at you (this only applies to females) lmao although Titan might give some points for that as well

I usually squat the other way in my rack but for where I had to set my phone, I turned around so as to not be overloading this thread with sexy. Lmbo!!

Btw, if a girl decided to join in on this comp, would she have to do the 135 for 50 as well?

I would love to see them in here for this. And I think dropping the weight for them is acceptable with the same 50 reps. Not sure how to calculate what weight to use for them though. Any thoughts?

I'm thinking something like weight to weight ratio. For example, I'm 193 lifting 135 which is 69% of my body weight. Girl 1 is 130 and 90lbs would be her 69%. Girl 2 is 115 and 80.5 would be hers.

The only issue with that is the fact the the men in this challenge have to pull 135x50 regardless of their weight. So Id say if they accept, we keep it at the same weight, say 90lbs.

So happy to have you in here! Now just get your counterpart to join! Id say 90 lbs on the deaders, and yes, bodyweight for the pullups. But as I said, they dont have to be straight through,just complete 10. This is for time. And you have until Midnight of Monday!!
