BPS--- Gettig Lean and Mean on Comubstion and DCP 2 !!

This does seem to be a VERY WELL liked stack. I know I am ready to get ripped on it !!!

Only took one cap of Combustion today before work. I know it's low dosed on caffiene but didnt need to be jittery first day of work haha. I will say I took it with my last meal before work which was 6 hours ago and I didnt get hungry until a couple hours ago.

when i started combustion i thought ok, this is alright..but it got better as time passed, at week 3 it was oh yeah!!!
 
1 hour ago--- Just popped 1 DCP 2 and 2 Combustion on an empty stomach. Had planned on fasted cardio this morning and the local Y, but my youngest is still asleep, so it may not happen.

My older boys will be back this weekend so it won't be an issue going to the gym. I'm actually not released yet to go back so it's not to big of a deal anyway.

Now------Ok so I won't do that again UNLESS I plan on cardio. I was hungry when I woke up and it absolutely killed my appetite! I am forcing myself to eat now before it gets to late and I have to eat again! haha Luckily I am eating homemade breakfast burritos and they are a little easier to eat than plain chicken.
 
Energy was decent, I am actually drinking a Hydrive with my breakfast for a little more pick me up. I used to be a morning person but anymore I need some caffeine to get me going haha. Appetite suppression was very good though.
I plan on taking all doses today so we'll see how it goes.

i hate mornings...in all honesty i would barely even feel anything from 1 combustion 1st thing in the morning. very welterweight stim effect, but heavyweight fatburning, imo.

was that a typo or did you only take 1 dcp?

I only took one. Was just going off the label and trying to spread them through the day. I see a lot of guys will take 2 twice a day? What would you recommend? And the Combustion? I've been taking 2 caps/3 times a day. Trying to take them all on an empty stomach.

I just took two DCP and two Combustion. Going to do some cardio here in a bit.
 
First impressions:Last few times I have taken them together within a half an hour I get a pretty good thermo affect. Had to check the thermostat yesterday to make sure it was right hahaDeffinate hunger suppression. The only thing that bothered me yesterday was that I got called in early, at 1. So I ate lunch at 12:15, had a shake at 2, and a protein bar at 5. I did take 2 DCP while I was at work but was starving by the time I got home. Although it was after 8 so I can't really blame that on the supps. I pretty much went 8 hours without eating much. Not good I know, but I got called in the last minute and couldn't do much about it.Also I may have even noticed a slight mood enhancement from the stack yestarday? I'll see how today is..

Well, I didn't get to the gym as soon as I expected this morning. Layed back in bed with the wife for a few and she wouldn't let me get up (she leaves at 6:30 a.m. all week) Well by the time I got up, then she decided she wanted to go to, it was almost 11 before I got to the gym. And I hadn't even ate breakfast yet!!!


Still only did 20 mins on the treadmill. 3.5 speed, and 3 incline. Even at that I broke a sweat, gotta love the stack :D
Kind of afraid to do sprints yet. I don't think it will hurt any of my incisions, just being cautious. They do have a Stepmill-stairmaster I may try next time. Make it a little more intense.




Mood was decent today. Energy was kind of low this afternoon, but feel great this evening. I'm still deciding if I want to dose the Combustion at 4 a day. 2 pre work out, 1 post workout, and one later in the day? Have to see if I can come up with another bottle if I do....

put a slab of ribs in the crock pot for 4 hours, until just starting to fall apart. then slathered them in sweet baby rays and threw them on the grill for 7 minutes each side[charcoal, not gas grill].:food: my wife makes her own cole slaw dressing so had coleslaw:food: and baked potato:food:-also slow cooked on the grill[charcoal, not gas]:nono:

and for desert we had home made cheesecake our daughter in law had made for us.:food:

Alright guys/gals I am going to start hitting the weights tomorrow and need a new routine. I don't want to go to heavy for awhile (4-8) rep range because I am just getting back into it after surgery. So I'd like something with higher reps/dropsets/negatives etc. Any suggestions? I can write one up, as I have several time. But sometimes premade printable routines are just easier ;)

^^ Very similar to how I dose. 2x DCP 2.0 is a must before meals, IMO.

Idk much about that one, but I know a ton of guys that have done the MD stuff and seen great results.

I assume Jim sent you the routine? If not, let me know. I've had strength gains and growth since starting MD training.

Lookin at Kris Getham's routine. Although it is crazy reps, ex. leg press 50,40,30,20,10, and then back up, which you super-set with calves, that is all you do on leg day. I know it's a lot of reps, but you don't do any other type of leg exercises so I don't know how productive it actually would be. So I will probably go ahead with the Mountain Dog routine.

5 pages in and FINALLY get an actual workout done!!
First day back and I decided to do legs. After my wife hounding me for two weeks about me taking it easy when I got back, it was a little nerve wracking doing any kind of weight!!


So I either went really light and higher reps, or both haha. I'll work back up each week.


LEGS and CALVES


Reverse calf raises (tibia raises)- on smith machine, standing on small platform
2 set of 15@85, 2 set of 15@65


Calf Raises on Leg Press--30 sec rest periods
6 sets of 15@4 plates



Barbell Straight leg deads- 2 WU sets
3 sets of 6 @155


Leg Press- 2 WU sets
3 sets of 15 @270+ sled
These probably made me the most nervous. Although it was very light, just the abdominal pressure on the negatives kind of worried me.


Hack Squats- 2 WU sets---on Smith machine, because we don't have a Hack Squat at the gym, so I improvised.
2 sets, with 2 double drops. I used 3 25's on each side and dropped one each set.
So it went 8 reps @195, drop, 8 reps @145, drop, 8 reps @ 95 then repeat


Step ups 20" platform
2 sets @ bodyweight x10 each leg


Lying Leg Curl
2 sets of 25 @50lbs

5 min cool down on treadmill



Even though I didn't go heavy like I would of liked, I SWEAT MY BUTT OFF!! And all in all had a good workout. I could really feel it in my hammies. Came home, had a protein shake with 2 DCP's and will eat some chicken and white rice in a few.

Also my time didn't work out to well. I took 1 combustion this morning with a Hydrive, but didn't get one preworkout. So I took a scoop of Presurge about 20mins before the gym.

Looks like tomorrow is Chest and shoulders. It's been a LONG time since I have trained them together,so it should be fun! :D

the timing of taking combustion/dcp 2.0 gets easier as you get used to it. trust me it's worth it!!!

I feel like legs grow with any routine really... but from a broscience standpoint, i like that setup simply because we are on our legs all day. They are used to being used all day. In order to get them to grow, we have to exercise them more than they can handle.

i get great definition and mass from high rep legs. Ive never done 50 reps before though. The most i have done is 20 with window makers on DC training.

No I haven't. I've ran routines like GVT before, but nothing that high!
 
Food Prep 101


The beauty of eating simple haha. I normally have a white potato with fish post workout, so instead of making them up ahead I will just throw one in the microwave before I eat ;)

Got my workout in this morning, ran my kids around, been prepping my meals, have to pick up one of my kids in a few minutes. Then I need to shower and eat before I leave to work in an hour. So I will update everything, and check out the other logs tonight when I get home...

Ehh, I try to rotate. I've been eating a lot of salmon lately, but the fishy taste gets to me after awhile. :ugh1: So I bought a big bag of tilapia. This is the rest of it, so I may switch to something else later this week. I eat fish once a day so it doesn't get to bad.

when i lived in philippines i practically lived on talapia and milkfish. rice 3xday and a lot of seaweed, all the veggies there were grown using animal waste fertilizer-organic, lol... chicken and pigs were grown in peoples backyards and taken to market for sale or traded/bartered in the bario. old women with baskets on their head used to walk up and down streets selling fish veggies and fresh fruit, and balut-talk about a lot of protein, i would put balut up against any other food!!! i was one healthy S.O.B, lol.

Interesting. Didn't know you live in the Philippines? I actually have an Uncle who married a gal from there. He moved there a few years ago, an they just did move back to the states. His brother, my other uncle actually met a women from the Phillippines online. They ended up getting married and she lives here now too. Crazy!! haha
 
So I typed up a half of effin' page and instead of minimizing the window like I ment to be, I exited out. So to make it short, I had a pretty bad pain in one of my incisions yestarday. I was wrestling with my youngest son and it felt like someone stuck a hot knife in it!! OUCH!! Anyways I am alright hahaAlso woke up pretty nauseous this morning but ok now.Not spending the time retyping everything tonight, but I will say I had a decent workout today. Chest and shoulders. The only bad part is I didn't realize how much core you use doing chest and was trying to keep from tightening my abs while doing bench and needless to say it didn't work very well. Hopefully I will be more comfortable lifting soon and I will quit complaining about it haha.

I thought the MD routine started out really slow the first week, but after that week I loved it.
