BPC-157

Id bet there's at least 50ppl here who have been or are using it. I've used it in my shoulders, knees for injuries and I've used it on my deload weeks just to try to bring down systemic inflammation. If I had the oral version I'd use it for my gut issues (oral only works for gut issues)

If you have a new injury it will speed up the healing process. If it's a old reoccurring injury then it's going to reduce inflammation and help with pain but it can't fix something old that's already healed.

Does oral not work for injury repair?

There is a debate about that I think the debate is being driven by the people who sell the oral version. Most folks pin it as close to the injured area as possible. I've used it on my research subject's knees and elbow helped significantly with healing time.

I used injectable for my hip/back. It also cleared up my psoriasis so I know it also works systemically for inflammation if injected

Obviously it'll be injury dependant, but how long did it take to work?

Hmm, man I would say I got some relief in a few days. Also was hitting up the chiro and prehab etc.. Full relief within a few weeks. The main side effect I had was being tired after inj. I would take the whole dose at night before bed and sleep great. If I dosed mid day, nap time for an hr or so

I took pill form 500mcg capsule once a month for 2 months. I loved it.

Took 2 months off and trying something different. Currently taking 250mcg tablets twice a day for 2 months. I have about a week left. I have not notice as many benefits as before.

My brother is currently taking 500mcg capsules once a day. He is still on Week 3. His meniscus in his knees are torn. He is delaying surgery for awhile and was hoping to get some relief. He did not want to inject but so think he will if he doesn’t get any relief.

For me, I went through two vials sub-q without much relief. I was researching 250mcg once daily in the shoulder (impingement) and arm (bicep tendinitis). After doing some more reading I decided to research one more vial and go with what seemed to be the highest dose most ppl were using, focusing only on the shoulder. So 500mcg 2x daily sub-q. I started that about 4 days ago. Huge difference. I am absolutely noticing it now, so for me I’m glad I decided to give it one more try. Just had to up the dose significantly. Hoping this 3rd vial is going to finally get my shoulder right.

BTW this is the BPC/TB500 combo I’m using.

I’ve used it to speed healing with shoulder injuries, elbows, and knees with great success. I always injected as close to the injury or inflammation as possible, and it definitely speeds up healing. Didn’t get any side effects….actually I didn’t know any people had gotten side effects until this thread.

Nope not really, there seems to be a small group of ppl who say oral helps there injuries, I would say it's placebo effect considering the research and the vast majority of people's responses, I can't say for 100% certain that none of those people had benefits tho because they could have. Id imagine if you fixed your gut inflammation then your systemic inflammation overall would go down and that would make your aches and pains feel better so in that sense I definitely do think it could help with some pain management but not actually healing injuries

I've never heard of a single side effect from bpc either, leads me to believe that it's just a coincidence or maybe a contaminated or spiked product or possibly just not what it said.

Bpc actually has a boatload of positive effects on the brain and it should actually make you more clear-headed if anything at all. There's even stuff showing it has positive effects on mental clarity, neuroprotection, "Improving brain fog is specifically mentioned in one of the studies" positive behavioral health benefits. The list goes on

Oh yeah I think BPC 157 and TB500 are two of the most amazing peptides on the planet.

I agree, bpc also increases the effects of growth hormone receptors in tendons (not sure if it increases growth hormone receptors everywhere but I know that it does in tendons) so it should not only help with healing but it should also enhance the effects that HGH has on healing.

So HGH + the healing peptides seems to be a great combo for multiple reasons

Definitely. I think they work best in conjunction with other methods of therapy. Adding them into my PT regiment got me back to doing squats again...and I thought my old man knees were going to be the end of my squatting days.

I feel you on the old man knees….I’m 60 and no doubt BPC and TB 500 have helped keep me in the game and back in the gym after injuries.😎👍

Sounds like it's the ideal "supplement" for longevity, for both gym and day to day life.
I'm surprised supplement companies haven't already been all over this, especially with how popular topicals are now.

Yeah I just use it when I need it, which at my age is quite often. Smont has done a lot of research on it, and just what he has brought up in this thread really confirms how useful it is on the injury and recovery front.

Hopefully somebody releases a localized topical soon
Looking at you @sns8778 and XPG
Transdermal is not a option, the molecular weight for bpc 157 and tb500 is too high to penetrate the skin.

You want less then 400 Dalton but up to 500 will work.

Bpc is around 1500 and TB around 900

I've got my first injection of BPC-157 and TB-500 booked in for my rotator cuff next week. Is there anything I should expect to feel or look out for?

slin pins don't really hurt at all, maybe expect some tenderness if it is already sore in the area? sub-q or im either way very minimal if any pain

I've used it for the last 3 years and it's in the top 1-2 items I consider a must have for injury prevention and recovery. I started it with injection to address a tendonitis issue I tried to rehab for about 7 months through PT, dry needling, light therapy, acupunture, etc and once I started BPC-157 it was 50% better in a week and I had full mobility in 6 weeks- utterly amazing. The second time I had a bigger injury from a mtn bike crash and lingering tendon pain from an old injury in the same area. That time I used BPC-157 and TB500 and same results, in 6 weeks I was as good as new and it's never come back.

Now I take oral for maintenance and gut health. At 51 I am lifting the same as I did in my 30s and my knee and ankle pains are gone.

lol, sure I get that. I just couldn’t figure out if he was trying to say not to listen to anyone because they somehow figured out how to alter it so it was viable. It would be the first I’d ever heard of it.

Yes the corrupt big pharm can't figure it out but we can. Lol

I would love to try the transdermal but the science and reviews say no. And it's expensive. Lol. If it was cheaper I would try it for the board.
