BOSSMAN'S First supplement log on AM

Looks like Fun!
He won the stock height 125 class with the bike. We bought in the 450 class, with a 2 bike length agreement. He held his own, but they got him.in the top end. Atv 660 class, out in first round. But got to make several passes. Track was deadly, it was only 29 degrees here yesterday. Really dangerous day, 2 kids went out by ambulance

Glad he had fun and was safe, I would suggest a high top work boot for a little more safety for his feet and ankles.

Agreed. ha I'm surprised he doesn't have the long riding boots. I guess since he's on a track maybe he just uses tennis shoes but probably a good idea to where some type of boot.

You have a foot slip off a peg at 100 mph you can twist (or break) an ankle pretty quick when you foot hits the track. Better safe than sorry.

You know he has probably 5 pair, he was so dam excited and when gathering all his tools it must have slipped his mind. I agree 100% safety first

3rd day off from training. Not planned, woke up yesterday with a terrible stinger in the back of my neck. Must have really slept wrong, maybe from being out in that 29 degree weather all day saturday. Either way it sukks. Did the usual heat pad, ibuprofen, and 2 massage. Tossed and turned all dam night trying to stay comfortable and keep stress off of my neck. I do have a bit more range of motion today compared to yesterday. Probably, hopefully I will be good by wendsday.

Sometimes you just have to give the body what it needs. The time off will be valuable for you coming back and going 110%.
Just remember it is a temporary pitstop

Yep everyone needs a break here and there. Rest up and come back hungry.

Looks nice and healthy! Diet on point.

BOSSMAN cricks in the neck suck! just take some time off, It will do you some good. Your not a spring chicken anymore. LOL
You will be surprised how much bigger you will look after 3-4 days off. just try to keep the diet in check.

Good to know someone else knows what a crick is.
Yeah I'm staying positive, diet is routine at this point. If anything I have to make myself eat on non training days compared to training days.
I just woke up sunday with this crick in my neck. I'm blaming it on being out in the cold all day saturday and a bad sleeping position. Who knows, but I'm on the upside now. I'm at 75% today. Already decided to take it easy tomorrow. Let it heal so I don't have to keep dealing with it.

Probably sleeping wrong on it. that is how I get mine 90% of the time.
Plus if you have been sittin in the cold weather your body wants to pull your chin to your chest for some reason.

Cod/asparagus /green beans/ sweet potato / fried cabbage drizzled in ACV

Try rolling a lax ball or tennis ball around on your traps that can help my neck feel better when I sleep wrong.

Rest and some time off always seems to be best but maybe for some temporary relief give it a shot.
Yes sir, I did some ground rolling last night. Along with 4 x 25 on Pushups, and same for situps. Felt good. I can tell it's still there, so I did not train this morning.
Tomorrow or Friday at the latest.

Went without ibuprofen yesterday. I was only taking 2 800's a day. One at 7am and other at 7pm. No training today, neck is not ready. Actually doesn't feel as good today as it did the last two days. Still staying positive here, besides the neck I feel really good. Still feel pumped, solid, and really lean. Haven't trained since friday, 6 days ago. First time in years I haven't trained for that many consecutive days.

Hope your neck gets better! And same here on the training. I have vacation planned next month and plan on taking a week break from training and supps though.

Had a nice workout this morning. First day back in 7 days. Took it light with weight, and stayed away from shoulders, back, and neck. With the work I did perform, man did feel strong and solid. This is the first time in 3 years I have taken a full week off from training, sucks it took an injury to figure this out but I may have to start taking time off more often. I feel great physically and mentally. If I knew my neck stinger was 100 %, I could have crushed some weight this morning. Looking to do the same type of routine tomorrow, don't want to stomp on the pedal to fast.

Yep it’s good to take it easy and slow as your coming back from time off and healing up your neck.

You just have to pay attention to your notes. your body will tell you when it is time for a break. I progressive load either reps or weight every workout.
once my numbers start to drop for 2-3 workouts (Taking environmental factors into consideration) IE: Diet, Sleep, Stress, ect. that is your body telling you it's time for a break. (diminishing returns) it's time to take 7-9 days off.
Now note that I'm 55yrs. old and natty. The breaks may not need to be more than 4 + days for some.
On average I get 7-9 weeks in before I need to decondition.

When I first saw that sample packet of C4 I thought Cellucor came out with a protein bar haha. Then I saw C4 and I saw lemon drop so no way would lemon drop be a protein bar flavor.

Got through another light weight workout this morning. Training around a healing neck stinger. Everything feels pretty good. Might take off tomorrow, then get back to normal routine monday. Got 3 bball games today, 12pm local for my daughter, 5pm and 7pm in Alexandria VA for my son. My boys from Philly are coming down tonight to do a show around 10pm. Gonna be a long day. Nothing on the books for tomorrow except normal household chores and food prep. Wishing everyone a safe and productive weekend! !

Dang busy day today! Sounds like you have the rest of your weekend planned.

Ok, It's Monday morning let's kill it !!

Friday and Saturday depends.
The 3am workout is my favorite, with my schedule it's really the only opportunity I have to train. Every once in a while I get an opportunity to train in the evenings on the weekends. I just can't get in the groove for some reason.

That’s good! I much prefer early morning workouts too! I need to get to bed closer to 9 but it’s usually 10:30ish when I get to bed and up a little after 4. Do you train at a 24hr gym?

No, in my garage. No heat. Some mornings it can be in the teens..just gotta layer up and go. I still manage to always break a sweat. I just crank up the music and go at it. Honestly, I don't even pay attention to the temp. I always check the thermometer after workout is complete.

Nice! I don’t think I’d want to know the temp either. Lol

Don't lick on anything, like the BB bar.
