When a lady goes to take your blood pressure but they cannot because your arms are too big. Keep blushing ma'am!

Also when it reads 60/35 and they freak out a little lol.

Sorry, I'm just fit

Haha this happens to me if u measure it outside a docs office (usually like 90/50ish) but I get horrible white coat syndrome and spike in an actual docs office and read like 135/90 ha. I usually have to make them take it again towards the end and it's down to like 105

my 1st reading is always higher because of nerves, i usually do at least a 2nd reading a few minutes later too.

My wife is a nurse and she and all her nurse friends are fascinated by my forearm vascularity. One night lying in bed in the dark as she was stroking my arm out of nowhere she says: "I could totally start an IV on you in the dark." Lol.

Be careful bro... she might planning something while your sleeping :bigok:

I worked at a hospital for many years and used to always get looks when I drank a protein shake.

Cuz ya know, my protein shake is unhealthy and dangerous... unlike their 700 kcal Starbucks Frappuccino

I know right. It's all good. I was her guineapig during nursing school but I told her I'm the only one that does the poking in the dark. Lol

Take it from someone that has had a lot of blood drawn and IVs placed in their body over the past three years. Nurses LOVE vascularity, it makes their job easier, most of the time. I've had so many nurses say they don't even need a turnaket, could draw from my bicep, legs, etc. However, what I've been told and experienced is that vascularity often means a lot of valves in the veins which can cause them to explode when placing an IV.

My gf is a nurse and say this all the time. She actually has practiced starting an iv on me when she was finishing nursing school ha

Some nurses really suck at taking blood though. I get some that take around 30 seconds and some that have a lot of trouble. Of course I've been told I have "rolling veins".
