I was 17 and thought I knew everything. It was at that time that my mom and dad introduced me to the rules of the real world and I found out quite simply that I didn't know a damn thing. And frankly, I'm glad they knocked me back down to reality.

yea come ONNNN myo i'm 18 and I HAVE GOTTEN knocked down by my parents a few times.
Once I told them I was gonna leave the house and they said "SURE!"
an hour after I left I came back. later that night I was sleeping in my warm cozy bed wondering if I'd EVER be able to get out. Food, clothes, phone, RENT! omg I have a min wage job AND go to school.
