Blueline and his new lifts

Last week I spent 5 days in Disney world with my family. Well my wife and kids. I wouldn't travel anywhere with my side of the family. Lmao. It was a great time. A lot of walking and a lot of eating. Came home feeling gross, fat, and tired. Lol. So today I hit the gym hard!!

Some gainztrain comments:
I'm noticing some joint pain in my left hip. Makes sense. I'm gonna start religiously taking my fish oil. It's been hit or miss. Lol. Oops. I also have yet to pick up my taurine. Im not sure if what I'm experiencing is back pumps or not. But at the end of the day when I'm laying down or reclining on the couch my whole back is pulsing in rhythm to my heart beat. It's not painful or anything it's just annoying. I'm also noticing some sensitivity in the nips. I have something for it and honestly I can't remember what it is. It's 12.5 mg. I'm thinking about starting that at 1/2 eod and seeing if that helps.
 
Honestly the fish oil is something you should take to protect your lipids!!! Are you taking any on cycle sups with your gainztrain 600?
 
I know man. Honestly I'm taking so many stupid pills and vitamins I sometimes forget. Lol. Yea. I'm finishing off the arim1care pro I have then I'm gonna use liver IV. Taking a whole bunch of CL orange products too.

Honestly I think the products waste to much. When I take the recommended doses my pee turns like a weird neon green color. Lol. Seems like a lot of waste.
 
Another good day at the gym. Didn't have milk this morning so I didn't get my normal 730 protein shake so I worked out really fasted today. Got to the gym around 830 today so I could start earlier and minimize that starving period.

Warmed up on squats nothing heavy.

Pretty decent work load. I'm going to start doing leg curls and extensions before I squat though. Not sure what the deal is but I'm having a lot harder time warming my legs up than I used to and I'm still fighting some sort of tightness or knotting on my right quad.

Moved onto deads. For the most part my back has been getting better. 11 days with out really working it other than walking and riding rides seemed to help. After squats it started feeling "different." It wasn't tight but it didn't feel great. I stretched a bunch during my squats and did some stuff on the ground and it kind of helped. I think it may have just been getting fresh blood to it maybe and working out the cobwebs. My first few warm ups and sets my lower back felt pretty tight. But each rep was easier than the last and I started feeling better. So I hit it hard

I couldn't decide if I wanted to try a new max or just do a couple sets at like 475-485 range. After 315 however my I don't think I could have actually performed multiple rep sets. 405x3 was actually pretty tasking on my back. I said screw it. I'm going for 510. That's 5lb more than 2.5 weeks ago. It wasn't easy but it wasn't hard either. It was a challenging weight. I may have been able to get 515 but that would have been pushing it. I got 510 without stopping, hitching, or convulsing like an epileptic. I slowed down a little bit but for the most part it felt pretty good.

After deads I was pretty much dead (pun intended. Lmao) I went on to hit some triceps cause i felt I didn't get them very well yesterday than I called it a day. Overall a decent day for me. Kinda short in the actual time spent lifting weights but it was a tasking day. Just what I wanted.

No gym tomorrow going kayaking than to the gun range for some fun.
 
Only time I've ever been kayaking and it was on a river. It was really nice and a lot of fun. Today we went out on a huge lake. I mean Huge. Kayaking is a lot of work when the water isn't helping lol. My arms shoulders and back had a good workout today. Then we went for a hike in the woods. Did some cardio. Then rowed our happy butts back to the docks. Lol. I'm beat. It was a good afternoon. It's the misses bday today so we're gonna go out for dinner then have homemade blackberry pie for dessert.

Gym tomorrow. Chest day. Gonna try and record 315 on flat bench. So long as my shoulders aren't dead from today. Lol

Thanks for catching up man! I got 315 a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping it's easier today though! I'm still trying to decide if i wanna do some working volume or just try 315 again. Lol. So many choices!

Lmao that's what I do when I hit a new PR... I spend a month or so hitting it again to relive the experience or to make sure it wasn't a fluke that I hit it.

Did you read that AM article on rep schemes? It had the different "waves..." I think I'm gonna start trying the 3-2-1 and different wave variations on my deads and benches.

510 is gangster as fck. How's the elbow? or wrist? injury going? Not bothering ya anymore I take it...

Thanks man! It's the wrist by the ways. Long story short it's done healing. I was told I've reached my maximum medical improvement. Meaning I'm done healing and where I'm at is where I'm at. I have a permanent partial disability according to the doctors. 62 lbs tested grip strength. 50degrees rom both flexion and extension. I was told that no matter how hard I push it or how little I push it it will not make a difference. So I'm pushing myself harder than ever and just sucking up the pain. What sucks more than the pain is that my hand still goes completely numb after a lot of work or a little of fine motor skill activities. After about ten minutes into battlefield 1 it's completely numb. However yesterday while kayaking it took a whole 30 minutes. Lol.

It is what it is. I'm learning to live with it and I'm able to adjust a lot of what I do to compensate. The Crappy thing is however that a very natural ability I used to have is severely.... hindered?...damaged?.... not sure if that's the word I want. Holding a gun and shooting used to be so easy for me. Now it just feels wrong and uncomfortable. The recoil sucks. What also sucks is that I can't manipulate my hand like I used to. It would be nothing to fall and catch myself or to be fighting with someone and use different restraint techniques. But now I can't get my hand to do what I want it to do. I've even lost range of motion on my supination and pronation grips. That's why I have to always go underhand on my rightside on deadlifts. I'm not letting it interfere with my lifting anymore but I always wear my wrist wrap now. They told me not to cause my hand needed to heal but as I got stronger my hand didn't. So screw it. Doctor says I should be able to go full duty but I don't think he understands what my job actually is and how if my dominant hand isn't working right I could be risking my life more than I already am or someone else's.

I'll get off my soapbox. Lol. Sorry.
 
Had a decent gym day. Kinda tired this morning and it took a lot of personal encouragement to go. Lol.


I did notice one thing today though. 315 is getting so easy :D
Worked up to 315 and hit it so easy. It was significantly easier than a couple weeks ago. After that I dropped down to 225 and got it for 15. Did my normal Chest stuff and then a few super sets for the arms. Weighed in at 193 today with just shorts on. Feeling pretty good. My abs are disappearing though but I know that was going to happen. But the positive from that is that everything is growing. I'm really happy. I'll post a nood in a little bit. Just ate and feeling gross. Lol

I know what ya mean daily grind. Lmao. I almost didn't go to the gym today. But I only get fat at home.
 
Didn't post my workout yesterday. I did upper power. Mostly did 3-5 sets of 5-8 rep range. Weights where it was hard to get five reps. Felt real strong. 225 on bent over rows 2sets of 6. Then back down to 185. 3sets of 5 flat bench at 275. So on and so on.
 
Today was supposed to be lower power. Squats and deads etc. but I'm having a lot of hip pain in my left hip when I squat. So I'm taking this week off squatting in hopes to alleviate some of the issues. So today I did back, accessory shoulders, and deads. I also took a whole scoop of VeinNutrition bloodshot. I had a great workout. Felt so focused and strong. Worked up a good sweat to.
