talked to my coach today for a bit and working out some fine details. I cant actually start "training" with him until my doctor ordered therapy is complete. However i can discuss things with him, and if it just so happens that we are working out at the same time then oh well. lol. i had a pretty decent workout these last two days. my hamstring is almost fully healed so ive started doing my leg stuff again just not near the same weight, because thats freaking heavy now lol. i also did some deadlifts today. i took it pretty easy, and by easy i mean 315 was really heavy. its been several, several weeks since i did deadlifts last.
lot of big changes going to be coming soon. well not really soon but over the next few months. lol. im excited to get started down this road. i just hope i can stick to my guns and not start early..... probably gonna start early..... lmao..... yeah
Been absent for a while. Work and life and been interfering and taking away from my AM time. Few exciting things have happened. Well. Sort of. Lol. The negative change is that my body has decided it wants to start bulking early. And it's not clean. Lol. I've been eating a ton of junk food lately. And I mean a ton. Lol. It's been bad. I'm trying to finish out the month strong.
Lots of progress in the gym. Every week I'm getting stronger and I love it. Today I had some issues with my right quad being way to tight. I'm a little dehydrated and i think that's what got me. But never the less. Progress has to be made.
Last week I got 365 on squats for 3. Felt really comfortable and I think my hammie is back to 100%
Yesterday I got 265 for 3 on flat bench after all my working sets too!!
Today was the biggest improvement. I pulled 455x1 and it felt great. Strong out of the hole and very smooth to the top. I definitely had more in me but wanted to stop ahead cause I'd already been there for an hour and still had stuff to do. Lol.
I can't wait for the changes that will be happening soon. If I'm making this much progression now I can't wait to see myself in June![]()

Each day im getting stronger and stronger. My weight is down to 178 and I'm getting more compliments from my gym buddies about my size. It really shows that gaining definition makes people appear larger. I think today I'll take some measurements and see where I'm at. I know I've lost some size in my stomach cause I've had to take my belt down a notch!
So on Tuesday I pulled 455 and it felt amazing. I said on Friday that I would do deadlifts right from the start and see where I'm at. Typically my fridays I do high volume squats, lat pull downs and inclines. Just to hit my weak points. Well today I started with deadlifts and then did 12 sets lat pull downs and 200 tri press downs just for a pump.
Deadlifts started out strong. 135 for a bunch. 225 for several. 315 for 3. 405 for 1. 455 for 1. 455 was so smooth and fast that I knew I was going higher. After a discussion with my friend we agreed that I could pull 475. So we decided to go all out and pull 495. 5 plates on each side! Started out real strong. Got it off the ground smooth and to my knees rather easily. At that point my body decided NOPE. I started do the shake and nasty tremor hitch. When I got above my knees I said nope. There was no point in finishing if it was that bad. I could have muscles through it but there was no point in hurting myself.
I'd say that's a huge win for me. I haven't gone over 430 since like September and no where near that heavy since April of last year. I almost got five plates again. I definitely think I had 475. Maybe 480. New goal is 510 by the end of march.
That said my back is so mad at me right now! Lmao. It's already sore. Great gym day.
So I was feeling pretty rundown heading into the gym today. Long weekend of abuse and doing things I probably shouldn't have been doing.

I hit 275 on flat bench today and felt great. I haven't gone that heavy since April of last year. I'm kinda paying for it now though. I was told to not limit myself anymore and no matter how hard I push myself it will neither hinder nor increase my recovery. So I'm gonna push myself past breaking point. Lol. This week starts my 12 weeks of putting of strength and size. I'm going for a clean 20 pounds. I want to keep my abs so I want to limit my fat gain. I just want to be strong. I can't wait to start killing to food again. I may manipulate my routine slightly to accommodate more power but I am so pleased with my routine I may not change it. I'm getting strength and size already and I'm losing weight. Lol.

Gainztrain600 may be some sort of "special" supplement that is dosed at 600mg a week. Don't want my thread locked....What did I miss? What's all in gainztrain600? Does it aromatize?

Dam you are tossing around some big numbers bit ch. keep killing it. In the good ole power lifting days I would eat a 1/2 tub of ice cream about an hour before bed. Worked for me.on 2-27-17 the GainzTrain600 left the station. Next stop, GainzCentralStation.
I am on my second week into the trip and so far I am feeling great. The goals for these next 3 months is size and muscle. I am going to be working harder than ever in the gym, and at home. I know I need to eat a lot to gain and im already experiencing a desire to eat. These last few prior weeks I would catch myself going nearly the whole day without eating and getting sick. Now I find myself wondering what im going to eat next and hmm that sounds good. I know its a placebo effect in my brain because its time to bulk. But still. Im not complaining.
My current weight sits at roughly 184. depending on the time of day, what ive eaten and how bloated I am. lol. My goal is to hit atleast 200lbs but I want to try and keep it mostly muscle. I know that it is going to be nearly impossible and im learning that. But Im sure as hell gonna try. I am going to try and cut out the excess soda I am drinking and my bedtime half box of cereal will be cut down to a fourth a box (lol) and ill add in a protein shake. I will be eating a lot more though. That's the hard part.
I hope to increase all of my numbers and if things go the way im hoping I may do a powerlift comp before I start my cut. I want to get my bench up to roughly 320-325 range. right now im sitting at 275 for 3. which is way more than ive done in a really long time. I think my squat is still right at 4. not really sure. all the issues ive been having with my right leg has really slowed that down. today I only did 365 for 5. so I don't know. id like to see it over 420. my deadlift is 475-480. I know It will be over 5 by the end of the next week. I am shooting for 550 by the end of the train ride.
I will be modifying the phat program to incorporate a little more heavier weight stuff but for the most part I will be following it. I have been experiencing great gains on it. So, why not.

Today was a great day. Probably the best I've felt in the gym in a long time. And I have the numbers to prove it. Lol. I'm not posting my whole workout cause after my first lift the numbers lack in comparison. Lol. Pulled 495 today and it felt amazing. Super smooth. Actually came up pretty easily with no struggle. So I went ahead and broke the barrier. Put a 5 on each side and pulled 505. It wasn't as easy but it came up pretty smooth and I never once slowed down from the time the weights left the ground. Felt awesome. Looking for 6 plates by end of may. I think it's doable.
Here's where I'm at now. I've increased my food intake a lot and my core is showing it. Abs are starting to fade but I'm ok with. I feel like I'm looking good everywhere else.

Looking good man! I wish my back would allow me to deadlift. I miss it. I do RDLs, but it's obviously not the same. Do you have a show date yet?
