^ Lol yeah.... pretty bummed.
I expected more?
I don't know, did you?.
Thats not a 4th of july sale by any standards, let alone by np standards. Sorry to say this guys, but youve made a lot of bold promises and so far at least you have disappointed me, a loyal customer with many orders from your company under my belt.
Heres hoping youll get back up to the top of my supplement shopping sites in future once you get your New site sorted. Im afraid you are falling way behind the competition at the moment
Give me examples of what you expected for sale items. Complaining that the sale is terrible and that you hate it tells us nothing. Give examples of what you want. It's confusing because the sales have been unreal, we're buried. There is a reason I'm posting at 2:15am and it wasn't because I was out partying. Trying to get everything out by tomorrow and we're still considerably behind. For some of you, it obviously wasn't what you wanted. So let us know.

Wasn't enough time to do a generic across the board discount. We had less than 2 weeks to work with vendors on the specials. Boxes of bars for 2 bucks, pre workouts for under 10 bucks, diet pills for under 10 bucks, about half a dozen other items for 5 bucks or less. We can't sell things at a loss, we can only do what companies will allow us to do. The only way to do a proper sale is to have 2-3 months to build up certain items as you can negotiate deals. We tried to do everything at once, sometimes it doesn't hit with some people.
Back years ago, you could run a 10-15% store wide coupon and still make a little money as store margins were 20-25% on most items. Now, online retailers are making half of that. We had 2 other items that were meant to go on blowout, till we realized the products were ruined themselves. Horrible clumping that when we opened them, there were all types of QC issues. Wasn't that surprised, but I can't knowingly sell something like that.
Hopefully next go around we have things that fit what you guys specifically want. Our feedback through the site about what went on sale has been fantastic. Doesn't take away from the mountain of work we still have to do to fix appearance and everything else. Once things settle and I have some time, I'm going to focus on the bulk powder new additions. We're putting some more staff in place as the majority of my time these days is spent in medical research. I've been deeply involved in cancer and epilepsy research the past 4 years.
Was there an email sent out to registered customers like I have for years? I didn't get one this time. The link on the AM email takes you to a specials page. Is that the whole 4th sale items???
Please consider putting the old website back up.
The new one takes so long to get around in and find things. It is far too glitchy to use for me. I loved the way all the information about a product was on one screen in the old one. This one is a mess with things broken up into multiple tabs. For example, on the old site, I could just look to the right of the page to see dosage instructions and supplement facts. This beast requires me to click separate tabs to see that. It's completely unusable on my iPhone and iPad, which are the devices I use to order from the most. The text size is way small and pinch to zoom is disable.
I've needed some products since before the move, but still can't order. I need some Finaflex G8, Elimstane, a pre-workout (thinking jeckyl and hyde), and I wanted to do some research and try a myostatin inhibitor.
I left feedback on the site, but was ignored. The worst thing one can do about a mistake, is continue to make it. I am a loyal customer who has told many about the great deals and products at Nutraplanet. I really don't want to go elsewhere, but I will most certainly have to very soon.
I know it's hard to take, I've been there myself as a web developer, but the new site is an epic fail. It's costing you money and customers!

Although this sale was weak, so were most other sites for this holiday. We'll see what happens in the future with NP. Since the site JUST got back up with the holiday, perhaps this was a fluke. We'll see in 8 weeks or so, for Labor Day. I think there usually is a sale anyways.

I sincerly hope all your web development projects which involve linking between databases and inventory are both completed and bug free within two weeks.
I actually like the new site. The old NP sote was not mobile friendly AT ALL and had a tonne of products on it that were never in stock. It was functional but this one is an upgrade
Time will tell. We're trying to do our best. Try to see it from our point as well. Everyone has been putting in crazy hours, all leading up to a holiday weekend, which we all worked through. Sometimes it sucks to be putting in the effort we are, only to come on here and have everyone say "it sucks, I'm never shopping there, you guys are horrible". We make mistakes like everyone else. We're not making changes to make things worse, that's for sure. The goal is to improve product selection, service and prices. We had 1000's of items that were out of stock on NP that had to be put in stock. 1000's of descriptions that were old and had to be replaced. The only way we could do that was to share info between the sites and then go in 1 by 1 and make changes. One person for 3 days did nothing but make individual corrections to images and descriptions. We're doing things one step at a time. We know there are things that still need attention, trust me, they're on the list.
Sorry for being defensive at times, it just sucks to get beat on when we've been busting our ass. I got defensive for sure when brand reps started going after us. We're supposed to work together, not against each other. Not sure the brand would want us bashing them in public. I thought it was unprofessional and I responded as such.
Just hang in there
Mike, will you be carrying Analyzed/Synthetic Supplements brand on the new site? It is still missing from the site.

$7.95 international shipping has reappeared :arms:
That is Fedex, meaning it's trackable, right? Flat rate or is there a maximum weight?
