Bigger, better...the Nutraplanetarium!

Nice to know, thanks. Hope to continue cooperation in beneficial for both sides way, since you're the only overseas sport nutrition shop I ever needed to cover all the bases at this field..

The shipping situation will definitely make it more difficult to order. Many places give free shipping after a certain amount spent. I think that would be appropriate. Also on this topic of protein. Remeber alot of us were buying multiple bottles of banana oxyelite for 13 bucks with 8 buck shipping flate rate.

With all new websites, you need time to fix the bugs and layout issues. During design and building, the website can behave in one way but during a launch it can act in another. Also trying to move multiple databases is not easy work - It's not as simple as just running the same code. I can't even begin to imagine how messy it would be trying to do this lol.

Anyway, interested to see what happens in the coming weeks

I'm just waiting on this epic sale... looks like just about everywhere else has dropped theirs ;) NP has made some big promises

I get paid tonight, got a bit of extra pounds to throw around aswell this month!

Well, it's out... And it's literally exactly the same prices that have been up since the start...

Sorry to see corbin@nutra no longer being a part of the team. The guy was a huge asset to the team!!

All the best for the future corbin!

I expected more?

that would be the worst nutraplanet sale ever...and i've seen a couple so so ones.. they must not really be fully ready for the influx of orders from a proper nutra sale

Thats not a 4th of july sale by any standards, let alone by np standards. Sorry to say this guys, but youve made a lot of bold promises and so far at least you have disappointed me, a loyal customer with many orders from your company under my belt.

Heres hoping youll get back up to the top of my supplement shopping sites in future once you get your New site sorted. Im afraid you are falling way behind the competition at the moment

I agree.

you know what... I have faith they will pull through. Theyre going through a lot right now I bet. I work in retail and have for the last 8 years. While not a chain store we went through the exact same thing

We arent a chain store but a marina that sells a lot more than just boats (atvs scooters pontoons etc)

We basically upgraded, there was a small store and small outside sales floor and we moved to a 200,000 sq ft warehouse. we were in shambles for literally a full year, sales went down because our service department had to help move all the crap from one store to another but at the same time they had to do their own jobs fixing and rigging units. I remember 14 hour days in retail and man was it crappy, yeah they pay was ok because of overtime but it wasnt worth it. not to mention because of this chit service our managers and higher ups promised "great deals" advertised on tv our "HUGE Parts and accessories department". meanwhile people came into a 200,000 square ft warehouse that looked like it was abandoned. Like i said, it took us a year but weve given nutraplanet two weeks.

Moral of the story, we are all disappointed now, and rightfully so! They usually have AMAZING sales and right now were all getting the shaft :D maybe it was bad timing of the store take over, maybe there is more going on behind closed doors that have them focusing on internal affairs rather than customer service. I know they promised a lot and haven't really came through but ill give them another week. Nutraplanet has been notorious for adding stuff as sales go on too as far as i can remember so ill give them until next friday and if we dont get answers or they dont come through, then ill be disappointed.

But for now Ill be understanding and save my money. Im sure they realize this isnt up to par also :)

Might not be the case here but they've done a lot of their sales in waves before instead of posting everything at once.

Give me examples of what you expected for sale items. Complaining that the sale is terrible and that you hate it tells us nothing. Give examples of what you want. It's confusing because the sales have been unreal, we're buried. There is a reason I'm posting at 2:15am and it wasn't because I was out partying. Trying to get everything out by tomorrow and we're still considerably behind. For some of you, it obviously wasn't what you wanted. So let us know.

I didn't get the email and can't find the link to the sales, can you post it please.

Have u compared the last 20 sales or more.
u were with SP, so prob not
Im sure the old NP loyal customers could fill u in
that this is not what they are used to

It is a little difficult to go through the full product listing and tell you what I want. To say non-stim burners or thermos is probably too vague. I was always looked forward to that section where you had half a dozen products for $5-10 (acute fx & shred xt blowouts were cool).

I was hoping and kind of expecting a store wide coupon (ie.10-15% off) too as a kind of "stick with us through this transition" reward.

Wasn't enough time to do a generic across the board discount. We had less than 2 weeks to work with vendors on the specials. Boxes of bars for 2 bucks, pre workouts for under 10 bucks, diet pills for under 10 bucks, about half a dozen other items for 5 bucks or less. We can't sell things at a loss, we can only do what companies will allow us to do. The only way to do a proper sale is to have 2-3 months to build up certain items as you can negotiate deals. We tried to do everything at once, sometimes it doesn't hit with some people.

Back years ago, you could run a 10-15% store wide coupon and still make a little money as store margins were 20-25% on most items. Now, online retailers are making half of that. We had 2 other items that were meant to go on blowout, till we realized the products were ruined themselves. Horrible clumping that when we opened them, there were all types of QC issues. Wasn't that surprised, but I can't knowingly sell something like that.

Hopefully next go around we have things that fit what you guys specifically want. Our feedback through the site about what went on sale has been fantastic. Doesn't take away from the mountain of work we still have to do to fix appearance and everything else. Once things settle and I have some time, I'm going to focus on the bulk powder new additions. We're putting some more staff in place as the majority of my time these days is spent in medical research. I've been deeply involved in cancer and epilepsy research the past 4 years.

Just checked out international shipping rates and totally happy with them =) Even better than before, awesome! Thanx guys

what kind of info can I get about the bulk powders being sold? what makes them good, what kind of QC is being used, why should I use them over X other company/or at least what makes them comparable to legit bulks? you guys have a nice selection, impressed if youre actually adding more.

not a call out, just unaware and looking for an (honest) pitch

for what its worth, capped higenamine would be very nice. capped stims in generally are preferred, dont like weighing them out/capping myself.

Was there an email sent out to registered customers like I have for years? I didn't get one this time. The link on the AM email takes you to a specials page. Is that the whole 4th sale items???

You have to register again on the new site to get emails. And yes, Specials page is it as far as "sale" is concerned.

Personally, I was hoping to see some Foskolin 95 back in stock (will it ever be again in stock on the new site or is Analyzed/Synthethic Supplements not carried by you guys anymore?). I was also hoping that you would have new Alphamine flavours in stock, maybe some deal on Purple wraath (and other non-bulk BCAA/EAAs), etc.

Please consider putting the old website back up.

The new one takes so long to get around in and find things. It is far too glitchy to use for me. I loved the way all the information about a product was on one screen in the old one. This one is a mess with things broken up into multiple tabs. For example, on the old site, I could just look to the right of the page to see dosage instructions and supplement facts. This beast requires me to click separate tabs to see that. It's completely unusable on my iPhone and iPad, which are the devices I use to order from the most. The text size is way small and pinch to zoom is disable.

I've needed some products since before the move, but still can't order. I need some Finaflex G8, Elimstane, a pre-workout (thinking jeckyl and hyde), and I wanted to do some research and try a myostatin inhibitor.

I left feedback on the site, but was ignored. The worst thing one can do about a mistake, is continue to make it. I am a loyal customer who has told many about the great deals and products at Nutraplanet. I really don't want to go elsewhere, but I will most certainly have to very soon.

I know it's hard to take, I've been there myself as a web developer, but the new site is an epic fail. It's costing you money and customers!

It's just like there other site sp so I doubt they will change the layout. Why pay to develop to separate sites. I'm not saying you are wrong by any stretch though.

That can't/won't happen

We are well aware of the issues. As has been discussed in 3 other threads, we built an entire site in under 10 days, added 5k+ items, moved an entire business and merged staff. It has been a massive undertaking. We didn't have the luxury of building everything off to the side and doing a clean swap. We'll be making a lot of changes over the next month. Working on it one thing at a time.

Feedback isn't being ignored. We made a huge change, which always creates a huge response, one way or the other. We can't respond personally to all feedback. In the past 4 days we've processed we've processed a tremendous amount of orders. Far more than we expected. I've been in this industry for 15 years. I ran one of the largest sites during it's time in the 2000's. With Sam running NP and our staff getting the kinks worked out, all will be fine. Doesn't happen overnight.

I know it's hard to take, I've been there myself as a web developer, but the new site is an epic fail. It's costing you money and customers!

Sorry you feel that way. We will be doing what we can to improve it, as any business would. Epic fail may be a bit strong, if that were true we wouldn't be spend a holiday weekend packing orders :)

Although this sale was weak, so were most other sites for this holiday. We'll see what happens in the future with NP. Since the site JUST got back up with the holiday, perhaps this was a fluke. We'll see in 8 weeks or so, for Labor Day. I think there usually is a sale anyways.

Oh well, save your paychecks until Cyber Monday :)

I sincerly hope all your web development projects which involve linking between databases and inventory are both completed and bug free within two weeks.

I actually like the new site. The old NP sote was not mobile friendly AT ALL and had a tonne of products on it that were never in stock. It was functional but this one is an upgrade

For sure.. I think people just need time to adjust lol

I've been a huge fan of Nutraplanet for the past 7-8 years and have used them almost exclusively, but things are not looking good for me to continue that in the future.
The swap over is of no concern to me, that part is going to take some time. I would buy stuff from a web site that is just one long list of what they have and the price if the pricing was good, had quick shipping and good customer service.

The things that concern me are the prices I am seeing on products in relation to others and the somewhat condescending tone of Mike.
Yeah, yeah, We know who you are and what you have done in the past, I also know I quit ordering from Smart Powders due to the subpar customer service and shipping.
The NP guys have always been top notch, but I see this move as a definite downgrade and I hate it for them.

Time will tell. We're trying to do our best. Try to see it from our point as well. Everyone has been putting in crazy hours, all leading up to a holiday weekend, which we all worked through. Sometimes it sucks to be putting in the effort we are, only to come on here and have everyone say "it sucks, I'm never shopping there, you guys are horrible". We make mistakes like everyone else. We're not making changes to make things worse, that's for sure. The goal is to improve product selection, service and prices. We had 1000's of items that were out of stock on NP that had to be put in stock. 1000's of descriptions that were old and had to be replaced. The only way we could do that was to share info between the sites and then go in 1 by 1 and make changes. One person for 3 days did nothing but make individual corrections to images and descriptions. We're doing things one step at a time. We know there are things that still need attention, trust me, they're on the list.

Sorry for being defensive at times, it just sucks to get beat on when we've been busting our ass. I got defensive for sure when brand reps started going after us. We're supposed to work together, not against each other. Not sure the brand would want us bashing them in public. I thought it was unprofessional and I responded as such.

Just hang in there

Mike, will you be carrying Analyzed/Synthetic Supplements brand on the new site? It is still missing from the site.

Some people just like to complain.

This is what Dennis told me: I do not remembering seeing that on the list of manufactors...I made a note to check that tonight

Will the discount codes be reappearing? Ie "3off100" etc?

A bulk discount code for regular customers ordering decent volumes would be nice...

Another neg for international shipping. I used to order weekly, often multiple times a week, packing that $7.95 parcel to the brim!! Now, no matter how I configure my cart I can't get my shipping cost to any better than double what it cost me previously. It's putting me off ordering, tbh, my cost per unit has jumped considerably. Back to the calculator...

Well just went ahead and got my $10lbs of protein. unfortunately shipping went up from when I last wanted to order last week.. so my $60 tub of protein now costs $75.

No way in the world will they revert to the old site, that'll be dead & buried by now & it's an unviable option now they've gone this far. A dedicated mobile app would be a good option, I think I may have read of that happening in one of these NP forum pages...

I'm trying hard to like this new website, but dang it's frustratingly slow and as Awe Knee mentioned, glitchy. That floating banner is HUGE and it's driving me to distraction. I used to be in & out in 5mins on the old site, now it's more like 25mins :34:
Finding products is best done if you search for the name of it...provided you know what you're looking for. I expect this is because there's still a furious amount of "linking" going on in the background by the web techs.

Having also had experience in web design, i'm puzzled as to why it wasn't wholly constructed offline before going live? If this was to keep the same web domain then simply changing 1 letter (for example) and having a site redirection from the original would have solved much of this frustration. It's common practice.

As for international shipping, I've found the value is still there once you really load up the cart. Problem is, the budget option provides for no tracking so now you have the chance of 5 -6 times the product disappearing on route, as opposed to the previous $7.95 small box option. I've yet to lose one of the many, many packages sent though, fingers crossed, and acknowledge that it's my option to pay half the freight cost for twice the risk.

$7.95 international shipping has reappeared :arms:

That is Fedex, meaning it's trackable, right? Flat rate or is there a maximum weight?

It used to be non trackable and 2lbs max
