I think that if someone wants to believe that they can achieve any type of build just by following what someone else tells them, without actually doing some research themselves, then hey, that's on them...

If a 25 year old Arnold walk through this door right now and said "here, take this and you'll be ....ZXXXXX", i'd be like wtf is in this? Then i'd research it and THEN i'd take it or NOT...

You can not blame the crack dealer and not blame the addict.
 
Steroids can cause strokes as well as heart atttacks, do the research, stress on the body.

yeah cigarettes only have 42 different kinds of poisons and carcinagens..including traces of rat poison....but steroids r the worst thing ever apparently according to andrew732. steroids only get a bad name from the people who abuse them..thats the only thing u ever hear about are the people who get ****ed up because they do not know what they are doing. so steroids are bad? guess we hafta take away alot of precription drugs that save peoples lives.

I realy like Branch Warren,but I hate that he's with MT!I do like that he never mentions it or anything.I have his DVD and MT is never mentioned or shown or anything.He even gives a tour of his house and it shows him eating(the biggest plate of egg whites and potatoes ever!)and some other stuff on the bonus dvd,and never once is MT mentioned.I'd let 'em sponsor me too for the money.You know it's good compared to others!
 
now that Christian Boeving has been sacked muscletech has a sponsership contract up for grabs guys

rumor is this is how it went down
People wrote in to the mag.Asking why dont he compete.He cuaght hell for just being a power lifter when people wanted to see him body build.He was told by muscle tech to lean down and compete.He said he did not want to compete but the forced him.To show the people in the other mags ,muscle media,flex that greg was not just a picture person in the ads and was real.

Only problem is greg did not have a bodybuilder style body.It just was not gonna happen.But he went on stage in his skimpies anyways.His first show he looked disgusting was booed off stage and did not even place.Soon after he disappeard from the ads never to be scene .They sighned aaron maddon dexter jackson.And the pros that were actually placing high in contest.TO assure that muscle tech would not be looked down on as the"supplements that guys who finish last take"

I had a look for it aswell and no luck :( I did however come across Resident Evil: Extinction, which i haven't seen so i just downloaded that instead, not to bad a film :)

I think he cleared up a lot of the common misconceptions that the public has on steroids and really put a good face on steroids in general. It's a shame they don't require the plebs to all watch this, because no media outlet would agree that steroids aren't the big bad wolf of our time. Nearly as destructive as WMDs!

Alcohol, cigarettes and anti-depressants have caused far worse death and distruction than roids ever will, it's easier for the media to beat down on roids as the general public seem to lap it up.
 
The movie was good. It didn't cover hypogonadism though. Also it should have revealed the fact of how easy it is for winey little tranny girls that want to be boys to get test as apposed to someone who truly needs it. FTW

Interesting, i've never really heard that before. Is it because the people who actually need the test are going to different/stricter doctors?

Overall though I though this documentary was great, good interviews and it did a good job of presenting and then interprating the facts. The personal accounts of steriod use from his brothers and other people in the film are what really made it worth while and applicable to some one thinking about starting a cycle.

Theres some weird law that says if men or women pass a series of exams, evaluations, that they can be put on hormone replacement therapy.

It's not fair really.
 
great movie saw it too - unfortunately never knew it was in theatres or would have paid to see it will buy it if it comes on dvd

The movie covered anti-aging clinics and how easy it is to get test and what not if your levels are a little low (not covered by insurance). It also covered the mass misconception of steroids. A doctor is quick to throw you scripts if you ask, however in regards to test levels many are very reluctant to prescribe anything. For many it becomes a life long commitment in which insurance says f*ck you unless a doctor diagnosis
you with hypogonadism. Practically impossible even with low levels and symptoms. Issues for doctors include liability, relationship with insurance carriers, lack of knowledge and IMO ego. Hormone replacement is a new science. I think it has been around for like 15 years or something. So no long term use studies. Many doctors are limited on knowledge regarding these things, because schools didn't cover it as much then as they do now. You run higher risk for things like diabetes, heart disease, cancer.... and a long list of others. Speaking of diabetes which is a hormonal problem a doctor is quick to recognize it as a problem as opposed to low test levels. Some people would blame bodybuilding as a negative force regarding steroids. I think it is peoples ignorance and fear. You live your life and let me live mine.
