Beta-Alanine dosing question

We all know beta alanine is a great tried and true product. And the dosing of 800mg to 1,600mg every 2-4 hours. The 800mg of my product is only 1/4 tsp so I've been taking it a scoop right under my tongue and letting it absorb that way. My questions are, first is this safe? Don't see why it wouldn't be but maybe someone knows something I don't. Second, would this be more
Effective than taking it the standard way? As in would it begin to work faster if at the beginning of a new cycle
 
No reason it shouldn't be safe to take sublingual/oral. A lot of people take this and other supplements in this way to "increase" absorption. I myself have only done so with PWO and not stand alone ingredients. Didn't notice much of a different between the two
 
Just get 3-4 grams a day and remember that once it saturates your system you're good to go. Use it sublingually, orally or whatever. I personally don't think it makes a difference and I don't think it's going it saturate your system any faster
 
Or you could simply use an underdosed portion like in the new PES Prolific as a preworkout with no real benefit.

Some one has an agenda ay? Not saying calling them out is a bad thing. Just don't be so passive aggressive. Also use some evidence to back you up also helps a lot, rather then just broscience.

Yes i understand that. I also totally agree with you but the way you went about this was wrong. You were being very passive aggressive B!TCH. I mean you did it in a thread that isn't a PES thread, with no one that is involved with PES in it, and that had no PES products mentioned in it either. Instead you did it in a thread where a person was just was trying to get some info on the best way to use BA. Like come on don't be this way. Take it up with PES not hear

He's just mad because he wants to see more out of his pre-workout.
I say if you don't like what you see than just make your own. I mix my own and it works just fine.

I am also very disappointed in there preworkout too. PES has made nothing but, up until now, fantastic products that don't have any fluff ingredients. They have also been very innovation in every new product they have made other then this product. However this isn't the place to complain and the way he went about it was just dumb

PES has always been a good company with some awesome products. Your right. It's not nice to hijack a thread with some BS. It in no way helps the OP

Came in to say this. 3-4g/d to reach saturation. Like creatine, it doesn't needed to be loaded or cycled. Take it whenever and however you want. Most split their doses to avoid the uncomfortable tingles that result from taking the full dose all at once. It's personal preference.
 
Where did you hear you're suppose to take this every 2-4 hours? I've never heard that. I take mine post-workout in my meal and whatever else comes in my preworkout already

studies have indicated that multiple doses/day speed saturation time. theres no data I've seen stating every 2-4 hours however.

Just get your 3.2g+/day and you're set. If you can split that into 2 or more doses a day, even better. If not, don't stress it.

Once saturated then it doesn't matter about multiple doses or does it still make a difference? Been on BA everyday for over a year now
 
Highest dose tested that showed performance increases, was in elite rowers at 5g/Day. I just throw a 5g scooper (11cc?) in the container and call it a day.
 
I took 8g before a run a few years back. I turned into Forrest Gump.
