Yeah, the best time of the day to do cardio is first thing in the morning before eating breakfast. Makes sure you have some amino/BCAA or maybe small whey protein shake to minimize muscle breakdown.
If you can't do cardio in the morning, then another best option is post-workout.
I'm not a fan of doing cardio pre-workout because you already burn a lot of energy you need for lifting. You will feel weak when lifting after doing cardio exercise.
I usually do 5-10minutes of cardio pre-workout just for warming-up purpose only.
For cardio before bedtime, it can interfere with your sleep. Your metabolism has been up after cardio therefore you feel awake & fresh.
I recommend not doing any exercises within 4-5 hours of bedtime.
yah cardio 40-45min in morning check ur HR rate make sure it is around 120-125 no more. u should be good stick to leucine rather than bcaa since bcaa through glucogenisis can become carb fuel (which u dont want) and if u want to take it to higher lvl just do another session after the weights
what about the fact that your body releases cortisol right when you wake up? thats why you eat carbs in the morning - to release insulin and blunt cortisol.
its not worth it in my opinion to do fasted cardio.
i always add a cortisol bloacker also when i diet
and a test booster/ AI like hyperdrolx2
i cover all my bases
fasted cardio is the most effective way to burn fat. hands down ! u just have to cover all ur bases. EVERYTIME anyone diets they shoudl use a good test booster like hdx2 a cortisol blocker and a fat burner like clen or ECA
