The original product was a blend of the different proteins, the newer 100% whey is just why without any other types of protein in the mix

personally it doesn't change anything for me, i'll still dose my protein the same way regardless....i do like the idea of blends though

however i have listened to llayne norton make the case against caesin all together because of the lack of anabolic response or protein synthesis because of the extended release

Release or not makes 0 difference, food overlap is always occouring depending on the overall protein intake per meal and how long it would take to digest. Meeting the protein intake per day is the #1 factor.
 
I like True Nutrition's whey isolate in Choc/Peanut Butter Cup. I also like Dymatize XT in Blueberry Muffin because it makes damn good blueberry protein pancakes.
 
I know the worst tasting protein EVER is body fortress's vanilla creme. It takes like sour milk. Worst tasting sh!t I've ever had.

Do you know the owner in person? I noticed that you mention something bad about him every time somebody's bring up TruNutrition.
What ever he done doesn't change that TruNutrition have the best tasting protein :)

Are you sure your getting whats on that label? That is what i would ask yourself first,
not to mention his customer service which has been very shady in the past regarding the O-Ring Scandal and how many people who bought samples never got them off his site and never refunded them.

If you like someone that has had a very bad past, and also has had multiple runs in jail, by all means support that individual. Just showing you who you are supporting, and how that guys approaches customer service and support.

not to mention he recently changed the name of his company to TaoNutrition, and works for Saber Foods. Interesting change of plans?

Well, when ever are you really sure you getting what's on the label of supplements?

I never ordered from their own website so I can't speak of that but I can say that it's the best tasting protein powder I ever tried and will continue to order it as long as they can deliver that!

3rd party tests.. thats how you know, Hence why top companies get them done to make sure you get exactly whats on your label.
Many people have been found guilty of T/G Spiking (as i have posted in here prior) so make sure you know what your getting.

I agree with you on this aspect. Sure his "company business" may be separate from his "personal business" but do you think a man who has been in trouble with the law multiple times isn't going to possibly cut corners to save some money. This man represents his company and I certainly wouldn't do business with him. Then again everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I am confused. So, you guys aren't talking about the new company Total Nutrition RX as the 2nd company who's owner has been involved with shady and questionable business dealings? The owner is a IFBB pro who get in some trouble yrs back?

If you can swing the higher price for OEP protein it does taste amazing I won a tub of the milk chocolate a month or so ago and god damn it really tastes like chocolate milk the only brand of protein I've tried that equals it in taste is cellucors which happens to beat its price not gonna say where out of respect for nutraplanet but on a competitors website u can 3 2lb tubs and either c4 or super HD for $70, $130 if u get the package with 3 4lb tubs

Short answer, yes. Wouldn't steer you wrong. Got the BOGO sale a while back. Prefer the Chocolate over the Vanilla, but the vanilla makes a tasty frosting as well.

I ran out of protein today and didn't feel like waiting for the incredibly fast 3 day shipping time NutraPlanet provides (<--- happy customer plug) because I can't go 3 days without using muhhh proteinzzzz so I headed over to crappy Vitamin Shoppe to pick up a bottle of USPLabs OxyELITE Vanilla Protein because that's what I just finished using and the taste was phenomenal. Any who they were all out so I asked they guy of they have anymore in stock and he said "Vitamin Shoppe pulled the product off the shelves because the product is under investigation".

Anyone else hear or know about this? Or do you think the guy was just talking out of his ass?
 
It just dawned on me, isn't there reported problems with OxyELITE PRO the fat burner? The dummy probably thought I was talking about that. Unless Vitamin Shoppe decided to pull all of USPlabs products which wouldn't make much sense.

You really can't compare the two. It's completely different protiens. OEP milk chocolate is amazing. The best casien based protien out. Cellucor makes a fine whey in taste and quality. I use both myself.

Tried a new brand of protein recently at the recommendation of my local nutrition store owner(Nat qualified NPC bodybuilder) and he's not steered me wrong till now pharma fuel isolate fuel it'll make you fart, a lot tastes great though like hot cocoa but man does it make for epic gas. Wifey says I am never to bring that **** into the house again lol.

Ok, earlier in this thread XF 2.0 and UP2 are mentioned. Apparently I'm a little slow.....what brand are these I cant seem to find anything relating to the acronyms. I'm tired of O.N and need something new.
