Best tasting protein right out of the tub?

I like making home-made protein bars. So the protein's taste (right out of the tub) is a huge part of the bar's taste, and thus, the overall success

PES Select is really good but I'm giving it an 8.5 for this application. When used as a shake it's a 10 but when making these Bars; every ingredient comes out and it has a slight after taste this way. Still love the stuff!!

So - any are there any protein powders out there you recommend that taste so dang good u can eat it right out of the tub (and w/no after taste)?

I usually hate Vanilla flavored protein but Isolate Fuel is delicious and it mixes faster than anything I've ever used
 
Invalid Link Removed snickerdoodle is really good but... I don't know how many people would agree with me, but Gold Standard Whey double rich chocolate has been my favorite protein shake. It was the first one I ever took and I still love it today. :)
 
I don't buy it because its overpriced, but MTS Whey has a phenomenal flavor. Its good quality and it tastes great, but its not cheap.

Personally the best tasting powder I have tried is syntha-6 chocolate cake batter or chocolate chip cookie dough. Best tasting quality powder I would say is pes select. cellucors whey cor performance is pretty good as well.

Looking for a brand that makes its protein powder in a way whereby the taste of the powder (unadulterated) tastes great right out of the tub (powder ---> directly into mouth ----> eat).

Selecting the flavor is the easier part of that makes sense.

XF 2.0.. Lemon Cream Pie, Mocha, Cinnamon Roll, Choc PB, Choc Mint, Banana Cream Pie, Triple Chocolate

One that I can literally eat right out of the tub as a power, Beverly Cookies & Cream.
 
The flavours of Select were designed to work perfectly in a shake so if you are using them when you add it to a bar (less volume of ingredients to dilute the flavour) I can see why they would be too strong.

Have you tried the vanilla flavour though? I would think this would work well as it is much more subtle. Out of all our flavours it is the one I prefer to dilute the least, usually I mix a whole scoop in a small volume of yogurt. :)
 
I would have to go with MTS Whey Cookies and Creme, Red Velvet Cake, or American Apple Pie. There are a lot of good proteins out there but I haven't been able to find one yet that legitimately makes me want to take it because of the delicious flavor like MTS does. The only other protein that has rivaled it for me is Syntha 6 and the macros are much better for MTS per scoop than Syntha 6.
