Best quality protein bars on market?

Damn the ingredient panel is legit, wish I could pick the variety box flavors, have you tried them all?

The Fit Crunch bars are my favorite! They come in two flavors: Cookies & Cream and Peanut Butter. C&C is the better of the two IMO but I'm not a big fan of PB to begin with.

Both flavors remind me of a candy bar. It has six layers so it has a few different textures compared to the chewy type of bars (which I'm not a fan of)

If your looking for a new bar, these definitely won't leave you disappointed! ;)

Just tried both flavors today. Not great, definitely doesn't remind me of a candy bar. Very chalky texture. Will not purchase again.

I think they're awesome. Wish they had more flavors.

I thought they were pretty good too when we carried them. Some of the flavors tasted like a similar pb flavor. Texture was good. The packaging needs to be worked on. If they had funds to invest a little they could save money on the back end in packaging. The owner has his own kitchen and pumps these guys out. They didn't sell that well in the end but were good.

I like Quest bars in a pinch. Apple pie and brownie are my faves.

CnC was just meh for me, but that PB, loooooved that...didn't they have a caramel/pretzel flavor or something that was supposed to have come out already?

If so, I haven't seen it but I WANT to find it!

I think they're great but everyone is different and has their own opinions. Have you tried NoGii bars? They are also pretty good IMO. :)

I think it was a Caramel Nut that was supposed to be released but I haven't seen them available yet! I got to try one at the Arnold Classic in Ohio this year and I thought the new flavor was pretty good. Hopefully they are available sometime soon!

Met RX just released, or at least new to me, prime protein bars which are similar to quest. Good flavor, 20 grams of protein, 12 grams of fiber, and same consistency/texture as quest bars. Really a solid option if you ever get to try then. TheSolution have you ever tried these?

Have not seen NoGoii bars in the stores. I was gonna try the Gatorade bars the other day, the cookies and cream. However for some reason all the bars in the box at the store were open at both ends. Anyone try the Gatorade bars?

Taste good but high in sugar

I eat a protein bar once every 5-6 months if that..
I rather eat whole food.

I understand, just due to all the food porn you put in that cheat meal thread, I assumed you ate protein bars. Being in college I usually have one bar a day for when I'm on the run.

Never.. they do not sit well. alot of aritifical sweetners can do a lot more harm than good for me.
I always packed my food in college.

I would have to say Quests bars. Smores and chocolate chip cookie dough flavorsss.... Toss in microwave for a few seconds........

anyone have a good protein bar recipe? That is able to be taken on the go?

There is literally 500+ if you just do a protein bar search on google (not trying to be rude) and there are countless threads on them on various message boards.

As easy as grinded up oats + nuts + Peanut butter + Whey + Dash of water and mix and pound on tin foil.

years ago i ate a lot more bars but really cutting back now and making my own protein snacks and/or increasing the whole foods.

MP Combat Crunch taste great, White Chocolate and Cinnamon are the best. But I will never buy again after I noticed soy protein in the ingredients list - I have a soy intolerance. Quest are good - S'mores, CCCD, White Choco and CnC are my favs in that order. Met-RX Prime and victory are good if you don't mind a bit of sugar.

I tried Krave before the changed their name during a trip to the US a couple years ago French Toast is off the hook!! Some of their other favours are pretty good too. The name change is curious though...

will do thanks!

Nobody has mentioned Krave bars... They have a birthday cake and a FRENCH TOAST flavor for goodness sake. Many people say they top quest in terms of taste and texture even though they have similar profiles

These are legit

I love Quest Peanut Butter and Jelly. Tastes just like PB&J and the protein bar is easy to chew and get down unlike most protein bars. It also doesn't give me GI distress as some bars tend to do which I think comes from low quality protein. Before I grab a bar I usually opt for a Muscle Brownie instead. They are delicious but a bit more calories than a protein bar.

quest or Victory bars have been my go to but combat cinnamon isn't bad at all.

I tried the R BARS and there right up there with quest! Taste was great and the texture was soft and chewy! tried the cherry bake well flavour yum!

Anyone make their own? (I haven't yet). Invalid Link Removed

Many have used Vita Fiber to make their own. They come out good. Kind of a pain but worth it.
