Hi guys
i have a question about proteins..

Now i take 1 scoops a day of Optinum Whey.
i would want to know which "slow protein" can i take with optinum for the best result?

Many thanks

ON makes Caesin protein which is absorbed "slower" then whey etc. I'm sure there are other companies as well. I hope thats what you are asking. Hope it helps dude.

Thanks a lot..
therefore the optinum is a slower protein?
Can you give me a name of protein (for example) can i add with the optinum?

Um I thought he did...Try using google for "ON Cassein Protein" or visit one of the many board sponsors and look for Cassein protein.

yeah just look in a search. Caesin is just the type of protein. But yeah ON is just called Casien protein. You asked something you can add to protein?

There's Optimum Whey, which is what your taking currently and is a fast-absorbent. And then there's Optimum Casein which you can add with the Whey because it's a slow-absorbent. Pretty much what everybody else said, I'm just adding my two-cents too. ;)

Also, milk protein is a good source of casein(something like 80% casein, 20% whey). So foods like milk, cottage cheese, and yogurt are good sources, as well as milk protein isolates(which seem to be cheaper than pure casein). Check out True Protein, they have a lot of options when it comes to protein and you can do custom mixes as well.

Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide is my protein of choice currently..

I mix almost all of my shakes with milk, because that way I get both the whey powder that I mix in the milk, and the casein protein from the milk.
I also don't have to worry much about calories, b/c I'm almost always attempting to bulk--> hard gainer. :food:

the best is whey isolate with all natural peanut butter, itll slow down the digestion of it, and it wont give you any stomach discomfort or bloat assiated with the milk sugar in the optimum way

yeah was defiently going to recommend some milk. But yeah there are plenty of options and there going to keep on coming lol.

a lot of people add olive oil to slow absorption, and its a good fat. i usually use complete milk dairy isolate from true protein

look into muscle provider by Beverly International. IMO I feel that this is one of the best products out.
