This is why i just pay more for natures best...at least you get what's on the label....i never trust these cheap isolates
So you only use protein created directly by Jesus?
So you only use protein created directly by Jesus?
wow, what a train wreck this became.
as i stated before, ion-exchange is a very old, outdated processing method, first-generation. the processing itself denatures the protein..so, ponder: what good does all that protein do, if there is no nutritive value to it?
the facts:
So what is Ion Exchange Processing? Well without getting too complicated it is basically a method in which they use chemical reagents to positively and negatively charge the Ions so that the protein molecules will magnetically attach themselves to the resins in a giant reaction vessel. The result is that it is almost all protein that you are left with and very little fat and very little or no carbs. Sounds great right? So whats the problem then? Well....
The problem with this method is very simple. Remember how we discussed the chemical reagents used to achieve the magnetic charges? Well those two reagents are hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide and while they do their job of placing a charge on the molecules. They also do a great job heavily denaturing some of the proteins vital components. Now lets clear up right now that I am not saying that there is no usable protein left, but rather that it is just not a good process to use if you want to get a protein that you will get the most out of.
So what if some components of the protein are denatured? Well just take a look at a list of what is denatured by this process and what it means to you.
Gylcomacropeptides- These are the biologically active proteins which have such benefits as aiding in protein digestion, improve your bodies ability to absorb calcium and also have a positive effect on your immune system.
Alpha Lactalbumin- A very large amount of your essential amino acids (EAA's) and your conditionally essential amino acids are contained within the alpha lactalbumin.
now, there are a few other components that are left unusable but these are the two that are of the most concern to us..
what i am trying to do here (cooper as well) is make ppl aware of how important the method of processing used is to a protein supplement.
cold processed ultra and micro filtered is going to be your best bet since it will preserve the proteins natural state as much as possible.
you fans of isopure can continue wasting your money, it is of no concern to me..
but i will continue to tell the masses - when i see you proclaim this stuff to be "the best" - that you are quite simply incorrect - and yes, science HAS proven this.

I understand your point by this time, I addressed that last night....you got a problem with NP's whey isolate. Got your point. Then people started to get their feelings hurt for no reason, and the scientists guild support group went into action (mostly one guy with no avatar who seems to suffer from a severe case of hyperactivity). I love the internet.
Funny that you are the one that multi-posts yet I am hyperactive. Am I severely mental or just hyperactive? Choose one. Sounds like no one agrees with you in anything you say. People like you are the reason I don't post on AM.

you are BOTH, plus many other things. Also I'm proud to be one of the reasons you don't post here. now practice what you just preached and stop posting. at least posting at me, I know it will be difficult for you since you seem to have a crush on me. You should slightly alter your name and change it to creep....better suits you.
very mature mr wannabee scientist....BWAH...

This is the last post I'll make in this thread.
I didn't overexaggerate anything. I said the processing method was inferior, and it is. If you know me, you know that I actually like to simplify everything and will even admonish (with love) people for overcomplicating or overthinking things.
You can believe whatever you want about logic vs science. Logic dictates CEE is superior to monohydrate. Logic dictates that glutamine should be incredibly beneficial for bodybuilders and that nothing should touch arginine when it comes to NO production and distribution. Logic dictates that supplementing ingredients like ATP, krebs cycle intermediates, and nucleotides should help strength...why even bother with creatine? Logic dictates that ecdy should cause steroid-like gains in humans because it does so in mice.
You can rely on logic all you want, but I am telling you, perhaps a little too bluntly, that your very mindset is partially responsible for the regression of society. It is entirely too common, and it is the plague of the common man.
And just as an aside, you should probably read up on the blood leucine maximum-MPS threshold dose, ketogenesis, and gluconeogenesis before thinking that 25g leucine or 20g of BCAAs in one bolus dose is logical. Megadosing leucine or BCAAs hasn't worked for ages in bodybuilding because this is an entirely new concept, and the lead researchers, who also happen to be professional bodybuilders if it makes you happy, would agree with me.
My intention in this thread was two-fold: helping others and maintaining objectivity. If you can't take what is wholly constructive criticism, then so be it. You can choose to ignore me, but don't tell me it's "enough" and that the way I presented my discourse or the argument itself is flawed unless you have some evidence to back up your claims, besides, of course, anecdote of the effects of amino acid supplements in bodybuilders who abuse steroids.
