Best excercises for leg strength and bulk

I seem to gain mass/bulk/strength pretty easily in my upper body but i have always struggled with gaining/maintaining it in my legs especially my calves. What exercises have you tried that helped you gain size and strength in your legs? What about explosive power in short sprints in sports like football?
 
this should be a pretty easy question. strength = squats and deads. size = squats and deads. calves are a lost cause lol. if you hiit train with pose form, you hit them pretty fukin hard though

Definitely this.

I'm all about box jumps for power.
 
Hill sprints
 
Squats....


Sprinting power:
Glute ham raise
Wide stance high box squat

Size:
Atg squats at higher rep ranges

Calves:
Super high volume on calf exercise of your choice

My leg have always been lagging...since starting a ridiculously high volume powerlifting routine that has me squating 2x a week and for 20 sets or so those days my quads and hams are no longer lagging. Calves still are but since i started going high volume they are catching up.
 
I like to do single leg presses. I think this really helps me focus and stabilize the muscle with each separate leg. Helped me build up my legs
