:biggthumpup:Alright everybody,

Getting ready to run Pmag as my very first PH starting on Monday! I'm going to run it at 50/50/75/75/75 for a five week cycle depending on whether I have sides or not. If all goes well I stay this course but who knows! Currently I'm preloading my hawthorn berries for the BP and I have torem on the way in case something crazy happens! A little about me. Well I'm a college student right now and I'm 26 years old (started a little late :biggthumpup:) I've been lifting on and off since I was about 13 or so and played highschool football. Anyways over the last year and a half I've been working out consistently, started with a cut and now I'm bulking. I'm stronger than I've ever been so this should be a nice ride.

Current stats:

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 189
BF% according to calipers: 16% (yeah I'm a fat ass)

I'll be updating on my lifts and I'll also try and update on my core lifts which are as follows:

Bench 225 x 10
Barbell Row 225 x 10
Squat 275 x 8
Deadlift 335 x 5


Occassionally I lift heavy and go for sets of 5, but I might stay away from that for a little while because I'm battling some pretty bad tendonitis and/or bursitis in my knees and especially my elbow. :sick:

PCT

I'm going to keep it simple and OTC, I have cycle assist and plan on taking it on cycle along with Fish oil and joint supps. I'll continue that on PCT as well and throw in PCT assist and possibly some Inhibit e. I also have Reduce XT for cortisol and Torem is on the way in case **** hits the fan lol.

Tomorrow starts week 4 for me. Enjoying so far, a few sides, nothing big and up 14 lbs. GL buddy.

Week 2 Day 4

Went to the gym late today because I had a test at night, and then went out to the bar. I like to go out and dance but I don't drink or smoke so I look at it as being extra cardio! Hhahahahaha

Well today my workout partner skipped out so I was solo, and it kinda through me off my rhythm. I actually somewhat injured my shoulder doing presses so I will have to take it easy and see what it feels like.

I was planning on doing chest and shoulders, but I think that's a bad idea because my joints are pretty weak so I might have to mess around with my wo plan some more.

As far as Pmag goes, I've noticed I've been a little bit more aggressive, but I'm aware of it so I try not to get confrontational. I've definetly getting alpha at the gym though when someone gets close to my weights LOL. :lmao:

I'm also having some mucus in my throat and nose and according to 17amethyls log on Pmag that may be due to higher BP. Lifts have been good just starting to get back pumps so tomorrow I'll start with 4g Taurine because 2 didn't do much. Today's workout was solid and I definetly felt a good pump and I had increased strength.

I was tard and thought that PMs mild, I won't need Taurine. I have it on order now. Deads and squats really activate the backpumps, not unmanageable, but definitely enough to notice. I can't fathom how the pumps would be on something harsher. Ouch I imagine. The biggest side has been sleep difficulty. I've always been an amazing sleeper, but the PM has lowered the quality and duration of sleep I'm able to get.

I've been taking:
5:30am glass OJ, 2 Halotest 25 2 life support, 5grams Creatine Mono
6:00am cheerios ( for cholestorol lowering benefits ) and 1200mg fish oil.
eat relatively clean, but not perfect. Around 3100 calories a day.
walk for 30 minutes at lunch.
4pm 1 halotest, 2 life support
Dinner take 1200mg fish oil.
Gaspari Super Pumps 250 (1/2 scoop, or none if I've had a lot of salt that day, cramps can be super harsh with caffeine)
Workout
2 scoops ON Gold Standard in 12oz skim milk. GNC Sport multi.
Sleep. 7-8hours.

So Halotest 50/75/75/75/75
Nolva 20/20/10/10 + Reversitol

PR'ed on weighted dips yesterday, 90lbs x 5 reps. Not as low as I wanted to go, but not bad either.

Hey bro I was having some sleep problems early on too, but have you ever tried Melatonin. It's really cheap and you can get it at Walmart and it's great. It's a natural substance so non addictive.

Alright fellas taking today and tomorrow off to rest my shoulder and my legs. I scheduled a leg workout but my knees are killing me! So I'm gonna do cardio and rest. Will update Sunday...

Monday is week 3 and 75mg's!!!!!!!!!

Week 2 Day 6 & 7

Took Saturday off and then did a little chest and biceps Sunday. I had to nurse it so as not to reinjure myself but it was a pretty decent workout being that I was at a hotel gym. My gf came into town to visit me this weekend for my birthday!

I am on day 16 of Pmag and feeling really lethargic. I did 50mg week 1 and started 75mg on week 2. I have no motivation to lift or do anything. My libido is through the roof and I am not having any other side effects besides being dead tired all the time. Are you having this problem at all?

My carb intake should be ok. I eat a ton of pasta and ww bread. I was at the tail end of my usual 6 weeks on/one off of white flood at 2 scoops. I didn't feel anywhere near this bad on my first cycle of Hdrol. I got pumped up for my workout today and had a really good one (probably my first while on the cycle). I really wish I could use some stims!!!
 
^^^^^^ I was a little lethargic at first and then today I upped the dosage to 75mg and felt lethargic again, but I also didn't sleep long last night. So I try to get a good night's sleep and I take melatonin if I can't get to bed. My only other sides have been backpumps which I'm taking taurine for. Today I took 4g of it and it seemed to help with my leg day but the pumps were still there so I may have to increase it again.

Today was legs..... funny thing is that I didn't have the best workout, but I think my form was off and I was feeling pretty ****ty because I only slept 5 hours today. Tomorrow's workout should be alot better. Strength was normal but again I attribute that to being tired more than anything.

Maybe try upping your water intake? I assume your on support supps?

Week 3 Day 2

Alright everybody so far so good. I'm starting to feel a little more agitated and aggresive, but in a good way. I'm also aware of this so I know not to get out of control. Actually my gf has said that I seem to be in a better mood so that's good! Today was my second day on 75mg of Pmag. Sides have been in check and I didn't have the back pumps today after upping my dosage of Taurine to 5g per day. Today I did a back and triceps workout (Really need to get that Cissus ouch!). Nothing crazy but I felt good and was definitely stronger even though I'm feeling lethargic at times. I also noticed that I was REALLY thirsty today so I brought my water bottle to the gym and was drinking that all throughout.

sweet .. yea 75mg is a sweet spot .. and you should see some nice gains

great workout .. if you dont have the cissus, i would just add in additional 2g of fishoils in the mean time
 
i always made it a point to take a quick nap after my workouts, but then again, i don't have a job & was only enrolled in 2 classes. it might be different, ( was on Halovar ) but i figured Halo got my intensity up way more than usual in the gym that maybe my mind & body needed that hour or so of shut-eye
 
^^^^^^ thanks guys. Yeah I will be adding more fish oil. Currently I'm taking 3G a day so I'll bump it up some. And I definitely noticed that I need more sleep. I usually am good around 7 hrs but now I need around 8.
 
Week 2 Day 3

Pretty decent workout today. I was feeling pretty lethargic close to my workout time, but I had a cup of some green tea and felt pretty good after that. Workout today was solid. No extreme strength gains but had decent strength all throughout. What I have noticed is that the weight feels pretty easy and light at times, but when I'm done............I'M DONE. Hahahahaha

Today was a good workout did shoulders and traps as well as some forearm work. Well everything has been going well so far. Not seeing to many gains in size or strength this week but I feel a nice and steady strength gain on all of my exercises. I'm going to try and increase my calories a little and then see if that helps me.

Taking today and tomorrow off. Went to the gym today and did some cardio and abs. Crazy thing though is that my weight is really fluctuating alot. I went and got a weight and I was down to 192 from 196 a few days ago

I weighed in today down 5 lbs from my start. I don't know what is up. I have had a lot of stress lately and have been working longer hours. My diet has still been pretty good and around 3500 calories. I am on day 22 with week 1 at 50mg, weeks 2 & 3 at 75mg. My workouts are good and I am getting a good pump, but the strength gains are not there. I feel like I look leaner but I have been doing more ab work than usual, so that may be why.
 
Week 3 Day 7

Alright everybody so had a good lift today. I decided to go heavy today on chest as opposed to 8-10 rep range. I definitely need to up the cals this week because my strength is not where it should be yet but I'm dropping bf and gaining muscle mass so I guess it's okay. Problem is I don't want to gain to much fat, but I guess that shouldn't be too much of an issue while on so this week I'm going to eat like a monster!!! Here are the lifts.

WEEK 4 DAY 1 & 2

Well today was not really a great day. It just started off crappy but anyway I had a leg day today and the squat racks were taken so my lifting partner and I just decided to hit the leg press machine. I haven't done leg presses in a while and usually just squat so it took us a while to get used to it and see how much weight we could push. To my surprise I was getting pretty up there so I decided to try for 850lbs did three reps and then................on the way down for the fourth (pop!) I feel my rib pop. Yeah so I don't know if it's broken yet or if it just got bent but it didn't feel too good. It's pretty sore right now, but I'm not bleeding (still alive! LOL) so I think I should be fine but I'm definetly upset by this. I really hope I won't have to take alot of time off but we'll see. I finished the workout but was feeling pretty nervous about my rib. Luckily it was the floating rib I think.....which is cartilage so I don't think it cracked but we'll see tomorrow.

Well I've been trying to get workouts done with my ribs hurt. If I don't have a broken rib than it must be a pretty good bruise because it's still hurting. Either way I'll go to the doctor on Monday to get it checked out. In the mean time I had a pretty good shoulder and tris workout, and then I did a good chest workout.

Highlights:

Shoulders and Tris- Actually had a decent workout in which my tricep tendon didn't act up. I think I finally found the exercises that don't aggravate my elbow while still being effective.

Chest: Great workout except for the incline bench which put a lot of stress on my ribs.

Well for everyone that has been reading this log I'm still fighting this issue with my ribs, haven't gone to the doctor yet but I think that I will this week. I'm still continuing to workout but haven't done legs yet. That's tomorrow.... today I actually had a good workout

^^ Def go to the doctor, I made the mistake of self medicating myself and all it did was prolong my time out of the gym.

I have a pain in the side of my arm, which I thought was a injured bicep. After a month I decided to see a experienced sports physiotherapist and turns out I have torn my shoulder - luckily not needing any surgery.
 
^^^^^ Thanks bashman. Actually went in today and they told me to take off from lifting until I see the dr. I have an appt on Thursday, I'll continue lifting being mindful not to hurt anything but actually I'm really concerned about my bp. It was really high today at 150/80 so not good.....
 
That is a bit on the high side...has your BP ever ben high before?

I don't check it often, but I haven't had it that high before. I know that my father has a history of high bp and cardiac problems. I have some more Hawthorn berries so I will start using more of those.
 
Week 5 Day 3

Alright well I went in today and did cardio and forearms. Nothing major. This is definetly going to be a recomp cycle of sorts....LOL. Going to see what the doctor says about my ribs tomorrow. Hopefully it's not that serious. Anybody know of any anti-inflammatories that can be taken on cycle?
 
Week 6 Day 2

Killer workout today. I did shoulders and triceps and I don't know if it's my shirt or what but I felt big and looked big. People are telling me I've gotten bigger but I don't believe them. Hahaahaha. Felt really good in the gym and I felt intense! Weight is up too. I weighed in today at 198lbs. Hopefully it stays this way and I'm able to maintain it. Right now I'm glad I decided to try six weeks but we'll see what happens....
 
Okay well sorry I haven't updated in a little while but I'll do a final write up on my cycle of Pmag and let ya'll know what I think. I'll do it sometime this week, but the results are in!!!!!

I went from 189lbs-199lbs so 10lb increase in 6 weeks!

I also lost some bf from 16%-14.6% according to calipers.

So pretty happy with the results and the cycle. I start PCT tomorrow so I hope to hold onto and keep adding size.

I probably meant 4 caps 2 x a day . Our first couple batches were 8 caps a day , however we changed caps sizes and got it down to 6
 
Pmag Review

Pmag cycle review

Okay well as promised this is what I thought about my Pmag cycle. I started off with 50mg for two weeks and felt fine. Early on I had slight lethargy and problems sleeping, but I used green tea sparingly for the lethargy and also used melatonin to get to sleep. If you've never heard of melatonin, it's great and works like a charm and you can find it OTC for cheap. No real bad sides on the cycle except that I did get back pumps for a little. Took care of that with about 5g of Taurine per day and then I didn't have pumps again throughout the cycle even without the Taurine. They sort of just went away. One side effect that did have me concerned was my blood pressure. As some of you know I got injured half way through the cycle...when I went in to the Dr. my bp was 150. So that was pretty high and it had me worried. Needless to say it's very important to have Hawthorn Berries on hand. They're cheap and very effective. I started taking those and my bp went down to 130 on my next visit. Libido was good on cycle and never felt shut down at first I just didn't have sex on my mind, but towards the end of the cycle it's all I could think about. LOL

Okay now for the good stuff. I was originally going to run this cycle for 5 weeks. Within the first three weeks i had gained 5lbs but then I kept going up and down in weight. At the end of the fifth week I decided to go one more week to a six week cycle and I'm glad that I did. I ended up gaining 5 more lbs by the end of the sixth week and drop some more bf. I was really amazed at how quickly Pmag can cause changes in your body. I probably could've had more dramatic results on this cycle but I played it safe on my diet because I didn't know what to expect, and my appetite wasn't that high.

Strength gains were pretty mild....peaking around the 2-3 week and then tapering down or maintaining during the rest of the cycle. My biggest accomplishment was bench pressing 315lbs! Other than that I didn't lift heavy as often as I wanted to because of injuries so I had to keep it safe.

Final thoughts: Obviously this is a great beginners cycle, but make sure you do your research and are prepared to deal with sides if they occur. Also you need to be really dedicated to your diet and training if you want any results. I know I could've done better with the diet aspect. (live and learn)

I'm pretty satisfied with this cycle even though I didn't get the explosive gains I thought I would. Put on lean mass and even dropped bf even though I was on a bulk type diet. I'm sure that if I would've sucked it up and eaten more I could've gotten bigger but I've been bulking since August and am getting tired of eating......... LOL. People in the gym have been noticing I've gotten bigger even though I don't really notice it at times. I'm excited to see my girl soon though because she hasn't seen me since I started the cycle so let's see what she thinks. LOL.

Thanks to every body for reading about my experience and I hope that this may help anyone out who is interested in this cycle. Right now I'm already thinking about the next cycle after PCT.......... I start grad school in Aug and I have a bottle of mdrol...........hmmmmmmm............ Not sure if I'm ready yet, but I might not get another chance to try it for a few years so we'll see. I might pulse it as well...
