Nah, it was a small two man operation. The owner got a chance to go to OCS for the national guard. He took it, but had to close the gym to do it.Was it their new years resolution to close down?

saw a real interesting little excerpt from a study online today from Dr Scally about t3 in case anyone is on the fence with using it.
Michael Scally This study was in healthy young men (e.g., bodybuilders). Essentially, for every 2 pounds of fat loss, there is 1 pound of muscle loss. And the length of the study, 9 weeks, is slightly less than a typical AAS cycle leading to more muscle loss.
T3 treatment began following the 3-week run-in period and continued for 63 days (9 weeks). All subjects initially received 75? g/day T3 (liothyronine sodium, Cytomel, Smith-Kline-Beecham, Philadelphia, PA) in five doses every 4 h during waking hours beginning at 0600 h.
This dose was chosen based on a previously described paradigm suggesting that this dose produced serum levels of approximately 4.6-5.4 nmol/L. The dose was reduced if a subject became symptomatic or if serum T3 levels exceeded 2 SD above the mean for the T3 assay in our laboratory (~4.6 nmol/L). All subjects but two received dose reduction to either 62.5 or 50 ?g/day T3, in most cases due to higher than desirable levels of serum T3. The timing of dose reduction differed among subjects, with most subjects being reduced to 62.5 ?g/day after approximately 2 weeks of treatment.

Although T3 exerts major regulatory actions in both animals and humans, most clinical studies of T3 administration have been relatively short term. The present study examined the effects of more than 2 months (63 days) of low dose T3 treatment on nitrogen balance, body composition, 24-h energy expenditure (EE), and protein turnover in seven healthy men studied at an in-patient metabolic unit. Subjects were also randomly assigned to either high or low fat diets to determine the effects of diet composition.
T3 treatment produced significant losses in both lean mass (1.5 {+/-} 0.3 kg) and fat mass (2.7 {+/-} 0.4 kg) by 6 weeks, with similar reductions in both at 9 weeks. The high fat diet somewhat attenuated the loss of body fat. Nitrogen balance was significantly negative for the first 3 weeks of T3 treatment, but tended to return to baseline thereafter. There were no significant effects of treatment on protein turnover at 9 weeks, although there was a slight increase in leucine oxidation (P = 0.07). Despite the apparent adaptation in nitrogen balance, total 24-h EE and sleeping EE were significantly increased at 9 weeks.
We conclude that although healthy men are able to adapt to mild hyperthyroidism in terms of nitrogen balance, they exhibit significant and persistent changes in fat and fat-free mass as well as energy balance.
For what its worth, I think T3 WITH some sort of androgen or anabolic chem is worth it for 4-6 weeks at a time. I've been on 20-40mcg/day and with Albuterol it has been a good run. If I have lost some muscle mass, 1) I cant tell and 2) my strength, in both 1 rep max and total reps performed per 60-80% 1RM have increased substantially. The first two weeks on T3, I also used GHRP's, which are anti-catabolic in nature as well. The Albuterol can increase MPS and nitrogen retention so perhaps this helped as well. Just food for thought.
Dude you're always chok full of great info. 20-40mcg isn't even a huge dose. I mean 25 is around baseline right? Definitely helps the consideration for sure. Some mod grf+ghrp2+t3 and maybe some ECA could be interesting along with my 200mg/week test dose.
Right, I like to use T3 just weeks/months before another bulk cycle. I have found T3 works best to get alot done in a short period of time. Another point to make is that it takes the body 2-4 weeks to recover completely from exogenous T3 suppression. So naturally backing a T3 cycle right up next to another 4-6 week bulking cycle makes sense. Physiological thyroid replacement dose, while a varying amount for each person, varies from 12.5mg - 25mcg/day. 40mcg is kinda like 200-300mg T per week. Its just slightly out of physiological ranges, which is ideal for fat loss without excessive muscle loss.

Since this is a formabolic log, I've noticed my libido is astounding on 3 pumps. It's definitely existant on 2 but no where near as bad as 3. I'll try 4+ when I get home. Hydes cute but his woman won't want him all beat up.

For legs, E3W, I recommend 2 X 20 of about 65% of ur 1RM, both done in 5 minutes or less. Do it while on a cycle... Blows the quads up.
We did max effort chest. I bombed 385. Got a vid of 365 from chest up. I'll get it uploaded later.

Yeah, but 65% of 1RM, do em both in 5 minutes or less. Good cardio too. So for me, I do 225 X 20 reps, then rest 3 minutes, then do another set to finish it up right at 5 minutes. Then of course go to leg press/extensions curls if u still got some juice left. I usually dont and have seen substantial growth on that routine done about once a month as a "shocker".

Basically did a ME bench day. Hyde hit some pauses and board presses, he started to fail at the half way point on his max, so I figured wed hit some shoulders and triceps as well. I got to do my very first log press. I wish my gym had one that was a pretty interesting movement.
