Bean's 1st contest prep (Lecheek last 8 weeks)

Not sure when ill be on here for the next 24 hrs or so me and the wife are taking our 14 yo pit mix in to be out to sleep tonight :-(

How was ART?
 
Alright so that is one of the worst ****ing things I've had to do (my first time). He went peacefully and happy (ripped ass the whole time after that meal lol).

Cardio in the am and off to get bloods done.

Pretty excited about it, just had initial consultation no charge, said I need some work but nothing major just posture related stuff and some rotator issues from my long baseball days. Going back next week or the week after gotta budget it out. He wants me in 2x week for the first week then 1x week for 4 weeks then on a maintenance basis. Seems legit

Yeah I had an issue were the head of my right bicep connects to my shoulder. The whole time he works on that and my lower back he explains everything it's great. He has made my right shoulder the best it has ever been in 5+ years. Now he is going to go back and forth from right to left to even them out. I figured out my visits are like 85 a piece.
 
I don't know how hard he will work on you Bean but keep an eye on recovery aspects. I get deep tissue massages and it kicks my ass for a couple days after.
 
For me it's not to bad. The more treatments the easier it is. I have yet to have it interfere with my workouts.
 
One, i'm sorry about your dog bean, two, ART is the best thing to ever happen to me, I usually go train immediately afterwards, it does not slow you down one bit

Mine come out to about 60.00/treatment but he said he'd do the same thing my Chiro buddy does which is charge me my old copay of 35.00/session for the first 6-8 initial treatments then the regular 60.00 for the maintenance.

Absolutely crushed arms today. A little post wo pump. Holding a bit of water today from carbs yesterday as they were mostly clean ;-)

Okay quick pic of the midsection I took upon rising today. Today has turned into an off day (feel like I needed sleep). Ill try and get some cardio in tonight after work if time allows.

For the hell of it I weighed myself b4 snapping this pic still holding at 188.4lbs

So once again, I now have what my kid had. Woke up yesterday with the worst sore throat I've had in a while along with some lovely green snot in my nose that will not go away. I was still able to hit my macros yesterday but I did have a little more carbs in the form of fruit yesterday.

No gym yesterday and I'm still debating about going in today. The throah is much better but my sinuses are on fire and I was up all night hacking this **** up (horrible gag reflex lol). I'm sitting right at ten weeks out so I'm contemplating making this week a deload week then going balls out till I'm done. I just got up so I have two meals to catch up on along with some rest.

So I decided to go in and feel out a leg routine. It went decent, I felt like puss c after every set cuz I was winded (can't breath through my nose). But overall I kept it short.

Warmup on stairs 10m

Leg press no lockout

4 plates x20
5 plates x20
6 plates x20
7 plates x18
8 plates x14 drop
7 plates x13 drop
6 plates x15 drop
5 plates x12 drop
(Plates are per side so just double)

Sick quad pump after this winded as fock after those drops

SLDL

3x12

Smith wide stance squat

225x15x14x12x8 (1.5 technique last set)

Leg ext ss with leg curls 2 sec squeeze for both

3x12

Seated calves 4 sets (3 sec squeeze at top then 5-8 sec stretch at bottom

4x12-15

Overall I'm glad I went in
