Bcaa and cardio

So I am trying to get my running to 1.5 miles under 12 minutes... I am taking bcaa's. Do you guys think that can affect my cardio

I do cardio everyday, and take bcaa everyday. I'm not sure how you think it'd effect you but you'll be fine

BCAAs can help with muscle endurance, but I don't think it would really be noticeable in a short run. They also won't really affect cardio capacity / VO2 max. Most people take BCAAs during cardio just to preserve muscle mass.

Take your BCAA's before and during cardio and your muscle mass will be preserved.

I am a firm believer that one of the most important supplements is BCAA's. I use Aminocore by Allmax. I do not mind spending the money because it tastes great and does its job.

Eat a good post workout meal once you leave the gym also.

If you're looking for more of an impact from them, pick up something like iForce Compete or Omega Strive that has an electrolyte blend, as well. PES Amino IV should fit the bill, too.

I drink iForce Compete with some additional taurine when I play basketball and it's great.

And because Compete is delicious. I love that stuff

I just wanted to know if it will hinder my endurance .. I know some people say creatine does that... I also take allmax bcaa ..

Neither creatine or BCAA will have any impact on endurance. I can't think of any product that would have a negative impact on endurance

BCAA's are free forms of protein
Protein will not hinder your performance

if you want something to aid your performance it wont be a BCAA it would be something like Ergonine (HICA, LCLT, Betaine, Creatine)
or BCAA's with goodies like in Ergonine --> Strive, Amino IV, Purple Wraath, Juiced Amino's, Scivation Xtend , Core ABC
which offer Citrulline, Beta-Alanine, SynerGlut, Betaine and other additional benefits towards your performance/endurnace.

Those would be things to look into.

I really did enjoy iForce Compete on extra intense back and leg days. The stuff tastes so good too. Just wish it was a little more affordable. Mostly I make my own version now. Some powdered lemonade, EAA + BCAAs, etc.

BCAA supplementation may not benefit everyone pre and intra cardio/workout and dose not "preserve" muscle during those activities. BCAA are best used during a fasted state or when meals are 4-6 hours apart.

I tend to only recommend BCAA's if you are either training fasted or fairly deep in a cutting phase (when calories may be quite low).

BCAA's or Creatine will not hinder your endurance OP!
