I know they are but I refer to them as bad ass test boosters when talking about them to others.Plus I can say I use supps and some work very well,but all have been legal.I'm just an honest guy and steroids come up alot when you're bigger than the average guy.I'm sure everyone here knows exactly what I mean by that.

The way I see it is if I still want to and think it's worth it at 30-35,then I'll make the jump if needed.I'm still waiting for my metabolism to slow down!

I've talked to two guys at my gym,29 and 34,who talk about you're metabolism slowing down as a good thing for building muscle.Granted I wont be able to eat as dirty and will have to work harder to stay lean.But I'm so tired of eating like crazy just to maintain.I was always very skinny when young.You could see my heart beating after running around and all.

I am the same way man. I seem to be starting to hold onto muscle a little easier but it is a *****.

Yeah I have came a long way.I started at 130 and I'm 180 now at 5'8"I started a half assed cut though the other day.That 34 yr old guy is actually 37.I remember him saying how he's almost 40 and all.He doesn't eat at all like a bb'r but he's frickin huge.Thats what they were saying is how I'm young and still have that high metabolism when I was telling him how I have to eat.The other guy,the 29 yr old,mentioned the metabolism slowing down today as in helping him getting bigger.

yea i'm an ecto also. all through high school i weighed about 140lbs even. it stayed that way, but i got more definition when i started lifting, because i wasn't aware of proper diet. i trained for like 2yrs before i started reading up on things and found VERY informational resources. since then i've put on 50lbs of muscle. :afro:

Honestly, man its the truth. When I graduated high school I weighed 125lbs. Im 32 now at 198lbs. I dont eat nearly as much when I was trying to reach 160lbs. But now its hard to keep the love handles away. My diet has to be almost perfect from Feb.-June so I can take my shirt off. On the upside though I can hit 215-225 with ease. It just seems like its all in my gut.lol:sad:

Theirs a 18 yr old at my old school thats my height and size already.My sister goes there and people ask her if he's her brother without ever meeting or even knowing of me.They say he's freakishly just like me,even recently shaved off his long hair.Anyways I'm jealous cause my sister says how he's always eating and drinking "those things you drink."(protien drinks)Like I said earlier,I wish I knew then what I know now.

kind of hijacking my own thread here, but there are so many subbed, i thought this would be the best place to ask my question. HOW DOES MY CUTTING DIET LOOK??? this will not start until I begin the MMV2 and other goodies I have.

Breakfast:
1 whole egg
6 egg whites
1/4 cup fat free cheddar cheese
1 cup raisin bran cereal w/ nonfat milk

Snack:
1 Isopure Zero Carb Protein Drink
1/4 cup sliced pineapple

Lunch:
1 can drained tuna
2 cups iceburg lettuce w/ lowfat ranch dressing

Snack:
2 stalks celery
1 tbsp peanut butter
2oz. beef jerky

Dinner:
8oz chicken breast
1 cup mixed veggies

Snack:
1 scoop casein protein

Workout days will be about the same, but pre-wo will consist of 20g protein (1/2 isopure drink) and an orange. post-wo will be 24oz. gatorade and 1 full isopure drink(40g P) This breaks down to roughly 300g pro, 2,000 cals, 90-100g carbs, and 30g fat. those numbers decrease a bit on non-wo days.

Thoughts, suggestions, comments?? I'm new to this whole cutting scene :lol:
 
I wasn't going to start a thread about this so I figured I'd share it here cause I want to share it. :lol: To make a long story very short,I was cleaning my truck,a guy ask where the local head shop is,so I tell him.He was in a car and ask if I smoked and without thibking I said yes.I haven't in 2 yrs but I was caught in the moment that was bringing back delightful memories.Yeah pot caused problems,but only whenI got caught!Anyways he then pulls out a bag,I can only see the top and then I'm like oh sh!t,I don't smoke anymore but for whatever reason I just said I did.Then he pulls out three thai sticks,I have never seen thai sticks in real life and I smoked from 13-20.He was just offering them to me!They were about a sharpie's width and 4-5 inches long.Dark and beutifull!I said no cause I'm on probation,and he's all well you can make some money.I said I don't want to risk it but thanks.
 
My only suggestion bass is to make changes slowly.Slowly decrease carbs and cals,start with low cardio and slowly increase the time.Keyword SLOWLYMake all changes very slowly.

The best advice Iwas given on cutting is to slowly(theirs that word again)decrease cals.As you get smaller your cal needs get smaller too.So if you are already at minimum,you got nowhere to go.Plus you will lose muscle eating what a 180lb body needs for maintenance when you are 195.

well i have a 3 month diet plan for cutting that i saved for when i'd need it. but 3 months is too damn long to cut. i need to do it in 4 weeks. i'll be on test by the time 3 months pass, and i DEF won't be eating like i'm on a cut, lol. i didn't feel like posting the first 2 phases of my diet plan. that is what i do though, over the course of 3 months, is each month eat less cals, carbs, and fat. anyone have a suggestion on a good cutting diet that will actually work and will only take 4 weeks to see results?

Im sure you already know the answer to this question. Calories consumed-calories burned. lol In 4 wks you've got a lot of work to do,but its possible. It takes me at least 4 months to cut up. Of course my diet is not quite as strict as the one you have outlined. Good luck.

Try carb cycling like how i explained earlier. I think that you will be satisfied. Make sure you do some carb cycling right before you jump on test you can even use it the first couple weeks of cycle and then switch to bulk. There is nothing like cutting hard then jumping on test and bulking. Your body just responds so well to the increased cals and you gain very low fat if any. WOOOOOOOOOHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
 
I feel like I lose alot more fat if my carbs are very low. Some thing about not having that insulin spike means all the difference in the world. That is how I am at least everyone is different but it seems to be the most popular way in bodybuilding.

yea because rather than using carbs for energy, your body turns to fat cells to burn as energy. however, that insulin spike is very important post-wo. this is why i'll still consume the fast digesting carbs during that time period. i'll stick to your PM protocol and see what happens bro. i don't have much fat at all, but the fat that i do have, is around my lower abs and hips. these are the areas i am aiming to destroy. napalm/clen helped a bit, but i wasn't doing any ab work or cardio. i was just determined to pack on as much mass as possible. for my cut, i'll be doing weighted ab work and cardio on top of lifting. if funds permit, i'll add another bottle of napalm/clen mixed and see what kind of results i get. i am REALLY tempted to try clen oral again, lmao. maybe just 20mcg and leave it at that dose until i can stand the sides, THEN increase to 40, and so on. i think i just increased the dose too much, too fast. i am rediculously sensitive to that substance for some reason. I GOTTA GET RID OF THAT STOMACH FAT!!!!! suggestions? :)
 
My point hough is to be careful to not lose muscle.Thats why I'm saying to do things slowly.I'm very scared of this from losing 13lbs in 13 days from my first cut.I did start the cut the day after a designer when I was noticeably shutdown cause I had no sex drive for three weeks.This is probably what caused it but I also made some drastic changes.I significantly cut carbs,started eating clean every meal,and started 30 minutes of cardio 3 days a week all at once.Then for the last 3 days I cut carbs completely cause I was starting a thing where you eat zero carbs for three days,then carb load with an ass load of carbs on the third night.I hope all this lost muscle came from being shut down,and it probably did.I'm just very cautious with this cut.Nothing worse than being noticeably smaller and weaker than you once were not too long ago.

Yeah I couldn't sacrifice my carbs after workout either. I would usually have somewhere around 40-60 but other than that now carbs. (except the few in veggies, nuts)

this is what i'm trying to do is cut without losing muscle. it seems goddamn impossible, but i KNOW it's not. the MMV2 will help, but as far as diet goes, i'm lost as to how to successfully drop bf% while maintaining mass in a 4 week period.

I know you can drop fat in a 4 week period.I just don't know how much.I always read about not rushing things and that if you are loosing more than 1lb a week it is most likely water and or muscle along with the fat.So if you do everything correctly,then statistically you should lose 4 lbs.Check out that book on scivationbooks.com.It's one for cutting.I'll check and get back with an edit as to what bok it was I read.You just download it by the way.

Basically Bass, what I would recommend is to rely more upon the mirror other than the scale. You realistically won't lose more than 3 or 4 pounds on this cut, unless you start to lose muscle mass with it. We don't want that!! So go by the mirror to judge the effects that your diet and supplementation are having. You can see when you're getting leaner. I didn't weigh myself until after the whole 4-week cut I just did. And I only lost 5 pounds. But man, I'm leaner!!:woohoo: THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:
 
I have been cutting for 4 days and have already lost almost 2 lbs.This scares the sh!t out of me!I am definately leaner and my arms measured the same,but still.If I start to lose significant muscle again I don't know what I'm going to do.

You're cutting too many calories it sounds like bro! Nobody loses just bodyfat that fast. There's no diet or cutting supplement that will make you lose bodyfat only, at that pace. You're going to have to increase your calories back up, but make sure they're all the "clean" kind! You have a turbo-charged metabolism, you have a very strenuous job working in the hot a$$ sun all day, and you're working out hard also. You're gunna have to "feed the machine" quickly:food:. You have the luxury of eating all the steaks, lean beef, chicken, turkey, and fish that you could want. And you probably need to up the good fats in your diet also to help preserve your muscle mass. I think you need to consider mega-dosing fish and flax oil while on this cut. Try taking 12 grams of fish oil and 8 grams of flax seed oil everyday split up over 4 doses. Basically your ideal diet would be Ketogenic, which is pretty much just having <30g of carbs per day. As stated in the article, you can replace the carbs in your post w/o drink with around 40g of glutamine since it has the highest chance of being converted to glycogen.

Taken from T-Nation:
"1a. carbs are not the only substances that spike insulin... certain amino acids, especially the BCAAs (and most of all leucine) do stimulate insulin production. A fast acting whey protein WILL cause an insulin release, especially after a workout.

1b. You don't need a hefty amount of carbs to stimulate insulin release. The lab test used to establish body response (insulin release) to carbs uses 50g of glucose (50g of carbs)... no need to consume more than that at a time to spike insulin.

1c. Technically someone could be on a low-carbs (50g or less) diet and still be able to spike insulin post-workout (when its important for muscle growth) by ingesting 50-75g of whey and BCAAs.

2a. Amino acids can also be used to restore muscle glycogen by a process called gluconeogenesis (''creation of new glucose''). Simply put the liver can turn some amino acids into glucose and then use that glucose to replenish glycogen stores. I will never ever cut, unless im on a strong steroid, a primary one like dbol, thats highly anabolic and androgenic, but run at a lowish dose, less calories and your body becomes more sensitive to androgens, plus a secondry steroid, like Hdrol, mixed in with caffeine, green tea, and then after the cycle throw in some clen.
Keep your protein intake high, use amino bcaas all day, and fish oils, train heavy with less reps, and dont train before you eat like first thing in the morn, your body is so catabolic then, and full of cortisol. Start each day with a good breakfast, your next meal should be smaller, and your final main meal very small, dont eat anything other than protein after 6pm and eat every 2 hours, snack on an apple=47 cals, or a bannana=100 cals, i know this works, ive trained about 75 overweight people to loose fat, and 3 fitness competitors, im not saying this to make you think oh wow, but just too show it works, the fitness competitors used the dbol and hdrol very effectivley, cutting bodyfat drasticaly and gaining lbm.

Thank you TG!I did make an effort to eat more today.I knew this is whats wrong.It's hard for me to eat alot of clean food but i ate more clean food today than ever before in one day.I also had fajitas for lunch with rice and beans and got stuffed!I noticed today that my pants felt a little looser in the quad area :sad: Leg days in 2 days though and they will be hit hard,heavy,yet briefly.I adopted branch's training style he adopted from dorian.I believe you have already.A few warmups,then 2 all out heavy sets per exercise.I bought a bigger cooler yesterday as well to fit more food and a big shake for during the day when needed.
 
Also I got my MMV2 today and am going to start it tomorrow.Should I take 1 at a time evenly through out the day?I'm guessing so.Also should I avoid it before bed?Maybe take my last dose 2-3 hrs or so before bed?I mau have missed it but didn't see any info on this.Or just to take one prwo wo or what.

apparently its physically impossible to lose more than 2lbs of fat in a week. Theres no telling how much muscle might be lost WITH those 2lbs either. 1lb a week for me has been best In my experience, last time i cut i lost like 15 lbs in a week and it was mostly water
 
from what everyone has ben saying, it sounds like cutting carbs is the way to go. i'm going to cycle carbs as suggested by hman. he was successful in his cut, so i'll try this. i'll also have other goodies for fun, but they won't be unveiled until i start the log :) my lifting will also be more intense and i'll do cardio 3-4 times per week, along with weighted ab work. i haven't done ANY true cardio since i started lifting, lol. because i've been bulking since day 1, so it should be interesting. yo BOX how has cordygen been working for you bro? not just an answer like "great!" but how exactly has it helped you in the breathing department while doing cardio and lifting? thanks in advance
 
Also I got my MMV2 today and am going to start it tomorrow.Should I take 1 at a time evenly through out the day?I'm guessing so.Also should I avoid it before bed?Maybe take my last dose 2-3 hrs or so before bed?I mau have missed it but didn't see any info on this.Or just to take one prwo wo or what.

on off days, spread the doses out evenly. on lifting days, take 3 caps pre-wo. depending on when you lift, either take the other cap about 5-6hrs before or after your workout. thundergod mentioned sleep problems on it, so i'd dose it no later than 6pm or so. maybe get some benadryl in case you have issues.
 
Thank you TG!I did make an effort to eat more today.I knew this is whats wrong.It's hard for me to eat alot of clean food but i ate more clean food today than ever before in one day.I also had fajitas for lunch with rice and beans and got stuffed!I noticed today that my pants felt a little looser in the quad area :sad: Leg days in 2 days though and they will be hit hard,heavy,yet briefly.I adopted branch's training style he adopted from dorian.I believe you have already.A few warmups,then 2 all out heavy sets per exercise.I bought a bigger cooler yesterday as well to fit more food and a big shake for during the day when needed.
Good deal Bro!! Keep feeding the fire! And, yeah, I do train very much like Branch Warren. I love his DVD. That shizz gets me fired-up!! A few warm-up sets and then..BAM 2 heavy ass work sets. But usually after my second heavy set, I'll immediately drop the weight say 25%, and bang out a few more reps to finish my muscles off. And I usually keep all my reps kinda high, like 12 to 15 reps!! It works better for me than low-reps ever did!! I notice Dorian preferred low reps, but Branch always trains with higher reps like 12 to 15. Train like a freakin' animal man!!:aargh: THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:

Yeah, the benadryl seemed to really help me also. I take 50 mg. about an hour before my bedtime. This gives it time to kick in and start to make me drowsy. From what others have said, it apparently helps to cleanse receptors. So that's an added plus! THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:
 
apparently its physically impossible to lose more than 2lbs of fat in a week. Theres no telling how much muscle might be lost WITH those 2lbs either. 1lb a week for me has been best In my experience, last time i cut i lost like 15 lbs in a week and it was mostly water

I must be loosing water then cause I checked my measurements lately and they are the same. :woohoo:
 
Looks like there's a few of us getting ready to run MMV2. What are you guys planning to run with it and for PCT?

i am going to use several other goodies with it, but i'm not saying what exactly until i start my log. however, they will all aid in fat loss. my PCT will be formestane :woohoo: oh and maybe paravol just for fun :)

Well.......I was just going to use MMV2 by itself at first.Then I decided to use liviathan reloaded and incarnate with it.Then I went back to running MMV2 alone,but now I'm considering using the L/I stack with it again.......:think:

The liviathan is "fat incenerating lean miscle potentiator"

The incarnate
"promotes strength and lean muscle gains.
Joint,ligament,and muscle recovery.
Intracellular carnosine booster"

What would yall do?I bought the L/I stack from NP for $50.Then later decided to buy the MMV2 afterwards.So run the MMV2 by itself?Or throw in the L/I stack as well?I have never used one of these before,I started MMV2 today but didn't work out.
